great book but…..

This would have been a 5 star review but I just flat out disliked the h. She was selfish and bratty. Absolutely loved the H. But it was well written.

Review: I really enjoyed this book, my only gripe would be that the FMC came across really childish and bratty at times. Some chapters she was a strong, independent women just fighting for her freedom but when she was given safety, shelter and treated like a mafia princess and it still wasn't good enough for her... like what girl?? I really like the MMC, he was fierce, possessive but also gentle. I really like the storyline and the character's but also felt like something was missing, maybe a little more suspense/action. I like my mafia stories more dark but it was still a great read.

An excellently written story with outstanding characters which is also a page turner. This story has drama, suspense, intrigue, thrills, action and steamy spicy romance with a great happy ever after ending.
A story of a young woman whose father sold her to pay off his debt to a mafia don. The mafia don also took the young woman’s father with them and not long after the mafia don got the young woman to his home one of his carpos tried to touch her so he also had the carpo also taken to a barn where the father was also put.
A story about two strong mafia families that come together after the mafia don of a family decides he wants to marry the granddaughter of the old mafia king of the city. At the beginning the two weren't that close but soon the two will become closer.
After the wedding of the two, one of the mafia don’s who went to the wedding burns down one of the warehouses that the mafia don who was married owned. The couple has a meeting with another mafia don who was close to the young woman’s mafia family as well as some other men for help during the war that the mafia don who burnt the warehouse has caused. The mafia don retaliates for the burning of the warehouse.
Throughout the rest of the story the couple argue due to the fact that promises are not being kept and the young woman doesn’t want to be kept in a prison. The mafia don’s sister takes the young woman to stay with her but soon the mafia don who started the war with the mafia don who she’s married to takes her. It’s no time before the mafia don and his allies find the young woman and take her home. The couple tell one another that they love one another.
Years pass by and the young woman and the mafia don has grown their family by having several children. The couple are now the mafia king and queen of the city. The young woman gets her nonno, her grandfather, out of prison and has him brought to their family estate. They greet him in front of their home where they will have him live with them.
The couple is in love, love their family and are happy.

I Miss When Women Fantasised About Saving Men

Really, you depowered, fuckless cum buckets ruined romance.

It used to want to break barriers.

Now its just privileged women with ni conflicts, too scared to tell us who their heroes are so they make war, so they can at least show you who they aren't.

But books and women like this, are why my mates feel safe to celebrate their abortions around me.

Hell, this bitch didn't even consider how this fucker wouls groom any child that sprung from her loins.

But thats privilege for you, when you get to pretend these fuckers aren't all groomers.

Women like this are the reason we disabled and ill are enjoying what happened to Brian Thompson.

Why we feel free to loudly perceive Apartheid Musk using his child as a Human Shield.

Enable these abusers all you want.

Socialists have better sex anyway.

Shes not real.

Ella is a manifestation of the conflict-free life of the Unseen, Unloved and utterly Unfucked and how they would respond to the abusers correctly and "save" them, if they'd only look.

But sadly, they only look when they're caught out, don't they?

This mafia story was so different than the other ones I have read. I did not like this story at all. I hate Ella so much. Why do some female characters act so mean, bratty, snarky, and so feisty. I like my female characters to be nice, strong, and have common sense. I am so disappointed in this book. This is my first time reading this author's book. I don't like her writing style or female characters. I couldn't stand Ella anymore so I skipped some chapters and did not finish reading the rest of the book.

Terrible FMC

Ella was hateful, she kept saying she isn’t a naive little girl, but that’s what she acted like. She was extremely annoying. I think the author wanted a strong female lead and doesn’t know how to properly rest one. Ella came across as an ignorant feminist. She was never raised in the mafia world but wanted to her husbands equal? No. The MMC was great. He was harsh patient and loving. Everything you expect in a Don. Storyline was also kind of stupid. The 2 stars are for Dario.

MMC saved this story

At first I was really getting into both MCs story but my god the FMC was just insufferable some of the time. It some areas she was absolutely amazing but then for most of it she just reminded of a spoiled brat who wasn’t getting her way. Like seriously, I had to skip ahead just to quell the hate so I could finish it.

This was Dario and Ella’s story. Her house gets invaded by armed men. And she’s torn from her life to become a monster’s wife. Turns out she’s nothing but currency. Forced to marry a ruthless don to pay off her father’s debts. She won’t bend or submit. And no sleeping with him before they’re married. But things soon start to change. It was an interesting read. Am voluntarily leaving this review.
