A new holiday romantic comedy from best-selling author of Tis the Season for Revenge!

A year ago, Jules stumbled upon the man of her dreams in a bar on New Year's Eve. After a lifetime of watching romantic comedies, she was sure she had found her soulmate. That is, until she learned he has an entire family and blocked him.

A year later, she’s having the worst day she possibly could, leaving her stuck on the sidewalk outside her place in a ballet costume, watching firefighters condemn her house because of a water main break when a little girl grabs her hand and tells her she’s her Christmas wish.

When Nate’s daughter tells Santa all she wants for Christmas is for her dad to marry the real-life version of her favorite doll, he dreads having to tell her the truth. When they run into the spitting image of the doll, ballerina costume and all minutes later, he’s floored to find that it’s his dream woman who disappeared from his life last Christmas.

Nate’s meddling sisters offer his in-law suite and his contracting skills to Jules in exchange for watching his daughter, and he jumps on the opportunity. Now, he has just a few weeks to use Christmas magic to make her realize they are meant to be.

Morgan is a born and raised Jersey girl, living there with her two boys, toddler daughter, and mechanic husband. She’s addicted to iced espresso, barbecue chips, and Starburst jellybeans. She usually has headphones on, listening to some spicy audiobook or Taylor Swift. There is rarely an in between.

Writing has been her calling for as long as she can remember. There’s a framed ‘page one’ of a book she wrote at seven hanging in her childhood home to prove the point. Her entire life she’s crafted stories in her mind, begging to be released but it wasn’t until recently she finally gave them the reigns.

I’m convinced people are actually lying abt liking this book. You’re telling me Jules DID NOT PISS YOU TF OFF?! Repetitive, nothing Christmas about it, and the 5 year old daughter was way too elaborate for her age. The whole thing just pissed me tf off tbh, Christmas is canceled.

main thoughts:
This book was very cute and wholesome, I now want to go and watch a romance movie and feel all the holiday vibes😭 this book was pretty fun and entertaining even though the characters could have gotten together right away tbh if it wasn’t for the bit of miscommunication😅, but regardless I enjoyed overall for the most part. There were some writing errors and dialogue I didn’t like as much, but I got over it pretty quick. I also didn't really care about the smut much when it came to this book, but you could probably just skips those parts and still enjoy reading.

𐙚 ྀི

I do wish we got some more fun scenes at times, cause again I'm greedy and imo the epilogue did us dirty, but I liked seeing the progress of their relationship and the proposal. Even though the plot is more vibes than anything I do wish we could have gotten a confrontation with jule’s mom or something else being addressed. I think I just needed more angst🫣 or more of something.

characters:
Jules: listen she has some flaws, but don’t we all? I love her and maybe it’s because I found her a bit too relatable, but I didn’t care😭 I do think she was judging too harshly about the whole situation at the beginning, but I also get it. I like that she isn't perfect and she started to grow at the end which was nice to see.

Nate: despite the fact that I hate his name I really do, I wish I could take him home and put him in my pocket😭 (in a non creepy way) this man is a cutie and a single dad, I couldn’t ask for more🤭 his parents raised him right and I could see how much he cared for jules with the ways he showed it. His flirting at the beginning could have used some work though but It’s okay I still love him😅

romance:
They’re a complicated couple, but I still really loved them. Their communication could use work, but it seemed like it was getting better at some point😭 they are still my softies and I loved the dynamic of jules with nate and sophie, a happy little family🥲

quotes I loved:🩷

“I want…I want to be loved madly. I want to live a movie-worthy life and wake up knowing every single day it’s my reality. I want to find someone I wake up every morning excited to spend time with. I want someone who loves everything about me, even the parts I don’t like”

“And Jules? There hasn’t been a single day in three hundred and thirty-two days when I haven’t thought of you. What you look like, how you made me feel, how you taste. I won’t fuck this up this time.”

“I don’t know. I like to celebrate the little things. Life has enough strife. If you romanticize the little things, every moment can feel special.”

”I love you madly,
Jules. Let me love you madly.”

extra:
overall I would recommend it wasn’t perfect, but it was cute and very easy to binge and enjoy.

this book is SAUR cute 🥹💘 he is literally obsessed with her. I yearn for this love. this is the perfect winter read, though I am a little early, but it’s still amazing any time of the year!! the mmc is all about the little things and I adore it. even after she ghosts him, he restocks her favourite coffee syrups every few months just in case she ever comes back 🤭 he has a list in his notes app titled “jules likes” just so that he never forgets anything about her, even as tiny as her favourite flower, or the snacks she likes 🫶🏼 and that is everything a girl wants in a man, for him to CARE, for him to put in the effort. so if you’re looking for your next cosy cutesy read, pls pick this one up <3

"i picture everything as a movie. romanticize it a bit, pretend that no matter what, everything is for the plot, that at the end, the happily ever after is impending."

♫ | invisible string by taylor swift
and isn't it just so pretty to think
all along there was some
invisible string
tying you to me?

“I like to celebrate the little things. Life has enough strife. If you romanticize the little things, every moment can feel special."

— ⊹ overall thoughts
this was just the cozy and cutesy holiday romance that i needed 🥹 the story was so sweet and magical. this was my first time reading a single dad romance and i LOVED it surprisingly! i didn’t expect that i would, but seeing nate be such a nurturing and caring father to sophie was the most precious thing ever 🩷

“i love the whole invisible string theory, always pulled together despite not being together, you know?"

➳ i adored the invisible string theory coming to play in this book. and the way our two mcs were reunited was the cutest thing ever: his daughter pulls jules to the side and tells her she’s her favourite doll come to life and insists that she marries her dad because it's her christmas wish 😭

one thing that bothered me was that there were a lot of typos—and there was even a whole chapter that was repeated for whatever reason… but i just looked past it and it didn’t really affect me too much.

i also loved the lightheartedness of this book, but i feel like if we got a little more depth or angst or something it would’ve been even better.

— ⊹ romance
overall, the romance was the cutest! nate was obsessed with jules and would do anything to spend time with her! the things they did together were so cute; christmas tree shopping, watching rom-coms, snowman pancakes…
there was some spice but i just skipped it bc it isn’t my cup of tea.
the only thing is that i feel like it was a little bit unrealistic that they were both stuck on each other for an entire year after spending only two days together, but it was still a nice sentiment. and it’s a rom-com so whatever goes i guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ the miscommunication was understandable but i feel like a lot of trouble could have been avoided if that was handled better.
but i enjoyed the rest of them together. also, the proposal with the matchbox was the cutest given their history! 🫶🏻

— ⊹ characters
➳ jules
"I'm scared, but I'm going to try and be brave. "I'm going to be brave because I know this—us? It's worth it."

i loved jules and her hopeless romantic mindset! we’re kinda similar too; we both love rom-com movies and have a collection of dvds tehe, and we both do ballet! 🤭 she was gentle and strong at the same time and i loved getting to know her :)

➳ nate
“The second you give me the go-ahead, dollface, I'll make every day a movie for you.”

oh my gosh, i need a nate in my life. he was so caring and thoughtful 🫶🏻 “if he wanted to, he would” kind of man. like omg he was down bad for jules and would do everything he could to win her over— it was so sweet! and his nickname for jules kind of grew on me. “dollface” is so perfect because of the circumstances; he bought the doll for his daughter because it reminded him of jules 🥹 i thought it was sweet anyways. and he even made a list of her favourite things on his phone, like come on 😭 even the littlest things like her favourite flower. sometimes it’s the little things that count 💌

➳ sophie
nate’s daughter, sophie, was such a sweetheart. kind of sassy too, but i loved her 💗 realistically spekaing tho, i feel like she did’t really talk like a 5-year-old but wtv… seeing nate interact with sophie just made me love him even more—he’s such a family man and we love that hehe
⤿ speaking of his family, i really enjoyed seeing them together. they seemed so fun and cute and i loved watching them interact with each other.

— ⊹ concluding thoughts
i definitely recommend this book to any rom-com lovers. you can already tell by the cover how cute it is 🎀 it was a lighthearted, wholesome read that had a little christmas magic sprinkled in!

— ⊹ playlist
- risk by gracie abrams
- last christmas by wham
- the alchemy by taylor swift
- when you’re ready by shawn mendes
- the very first night by taylor swift

— ⊹ more quotes
“I want you to chase your dreams and get your happy ending. And do it scared because you know I'll be there, ready to catch you if you slip. But I can't do that if you keep hiding, if you keep denying you're mine."

“A little girl deserves that, to believe in magic and true love and wishes coming true.”

The description is confusing me:

1.) She had a ONS
2.) Found out the guy “has an entire family” (???)
3.) She blocks him.
4.) His daughter finds her a year later
5.) She becomes her nanny
6.) He needs to convince her to stay

This author usually writes safe books, so I’m hoping it’s not what I was thinking 🙏🏻

———

update:

No OW!

I'll probably still look for spoilers to understand the "he has an entire family." Hopefully, she only thought there was OW or he has guardianship over a family member's kid.

———

update #2:

SAFE!!

- mom signed away parental rights 2 yrs ago (no contact!)
- BOTH have been celibate since ONS
- h saw H with his kid and sister thinking she was OW and didn’t stick around to find the truth (that’s her fault tbh)

4.5 stars!

morgan elizabeth never lets me down and this was the perfect holiday read to get me in the mood for the festive season.

this is inspired by life size (one of my fave dcoms ok) - nate and jules shared two perfect nights snowed in together but when she sees him out grocery shopping with a woman a week later, she blocks him and spends the subsequent months giving up on love… until she runs into him again because his daughter thinks she’s her favorite doll come to life.

there is no cheating or owd, just a little miscommunication and thus ensues a sweet and SPICY story of him winning her over through her love of romcoms.

i always fly through morgan’s books because they’re just the best time!!!

started cute but i'm getting terribly bored and i know jules is going to annoy me, so i'll just stop rn. "meant to be/christmas wish/if this was a movie/christmas miracle"... blah blah blah. are editors not doing their job anymore? why did i feel like i was reading the same conversations over and over again 😒 and, not that this is super important or whatever, how many times are christmas romances going to do the "die hard is a christmas movie" "no, it's not!" conversation? let's be creative and think of something else ✋🏼

“Let me love you madly. Let me make your life a fantasy. Let me give you the fairy tale ending you deserve.”

This was such a cute read. Easily a 4/5⭐️ and 2/5🌶️ on the spicy scale. Any romantic wants their swoon-worthy movie moment and this book definitely delivers on that. I loved every moment with Jules and Nate and it was so heartwarming to see how Nate proves himself to her.

Jules is a true romantic at heart and all she wants is to find her soulmate and live out her fantasies. When she does meet the man who she thinks is her soulmate, she is absolutely smitten and falls head over heels for him. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding involved and since then, she has decided to focus on herself instead and build up her ballet studio. Fast forward a year later, she finds herself in a situation that leads her to babysit said man's daughter and stay on his property.

This is where Nate Donovan takes over. He is devastated at the loss of his "dream girl" aka Jules and has been pining for her since their last interaction and when life brings her back to him, he takes full advantage of it especially with his sisters backing him up. He truly is the representation of if a man wanted to, he would. The way he gave full reign to Jules to control their relationship so that she could trust him again was so sweet.

I loved every moment with the both of them as well as Nate's daughter and it was so heartwarming to see how he tries his best to always give Jules whatever she needs and wants along with helping her repair her home. He always makes it a point to make sure their communication never goes astray and that definitely helps him win over Jules eventually. I also adored the cameos of Ava and Jaime together.

Overall, this was so cute and fluffy and I recommend this especially if you are into romance✨

If this was a movie…I would’ve turned the TV off 😖

This had such promise and started off strong but WOW the more I read the less I liked it. The pining was ridiculous considering they spent LESS THAN 48 HOURS TOGETHER - and that was apparently enough for Jules to be so heartbroken that she swore off men forever? Honestly Jules was so annoying 😡

I enjoyed Sophie’s character at first but then I remembered she was meant to be FIVE and she was speaking like a literal adult and it started to really piss me off.

Nate was okay but he was SO obsessed with Jules and it was all too much. Also I hated that he called her dollface, ew 😂

My copy was also filled with so many typos 🫣

3.5 ⭐ (loooong review 🙈)

This is freaking cute, hilarious, sweet, and haawt. 🤭

Nathan/Nate (35) and Julianne/Jules (29) hit it off on New Year's Eve and ended up snowed in together for two days. A few days later, Jules spotted Nate at the supermarket with his daughter, Sophie, and his sister. She jumped to the worst conclusion, thinking he's married and cheating, and that she ended up being the homewrecker. After that, she blocked his number and ghosted him. 😬

After three hundred and thirty-two days (who's counting??? Nate, that's who 😍), they finally met again.

Nate, Sophie, and his sisters decided to hit the mall to grab a few things and check out Santa. Sophie's Christmas wish was for her dad to find a real-life version of her doll, and for this woman to fall in love and eventually marry him. 🤭

Jules' dance studio and apartment got flooded because of a water leak and some pipes acting up. She was standing outside her studio, checking out the wreck, when Sophie came running up to her, yelling that she's her Christmas wish. Nate ran after his daughter, and it was a surprise for both of them when they finally locked eyes. 🤭

This accidental meetup seemed like a blessing for Nate since he never got her off his mind these past few months. He believes this could be his second chance to finally get his girl.

But for Jules, it was a different story. She got her heart broken after their two-day fling, and she gets that it's silly to feel that way since they don't really know each other, but in that moment, she just knew he was the one for her. But seeing him with his "family" totally shattered her heart and pushed her to build a wall so high to keep her heart safe. ☹️

Anyway, long story short, they found out that Nate's sister is also friends with Jules. Since the sister is getting ready to move in with her boyfriend. Her place is going to be empty, so she offered it to Jules for now while her studio is getting fixed up.

There was a bit of back and forth, but in the end, Jules decided to take the offer. She promised to babysit Nate's kid in exchange for crashing at their place for a bit.

I guess with forced proximity and mutual attraction that didn't fade away over time. Things are eventually bound to happen. But this is a sloooowburn, and that's mainly thanks to Jules.

She's worried about getting hurt, so she keeps Nate at arms length for a bit and has been ignoring her real feelings for him. It just keeps going like that until about 75%, I think??? Ngl, she got on my nerves a bit, but I also understood where she was coming from. Her parents really did a number on her, but I still wish her hesitancy didn't last too long. 🤷‍♀️

But Jules is a lucky girl because Nate is patient and understanding of her hangups. He didn't pressure her at all and was totally on board with going at her speed. He never gave her a reason to doubt him, always there to reassure her that he wasn't going anywhere. Just basically being a steady guy through and through. 🥹

Seriously, where can I find someone like him??? We could really use some more mature and understanding men in romance books and IRL. 😂🤭

Anyway, I really enjoy the slow buildup, the tension, and the "will they won't they" dynamic happening between them. It's admirable that, even with their fears, they chose to be honest with each other and share their feelings. It's wonderful to see them working on healthy communication and always being there for one another.

I also love his family and how they're supportive of him pursuing Jules and how they wholeheartedly welcome her into their fold. I also love Sophie; this girl is way too smart for her five year old age. She is sassy and feisty, and she doesn't know how to back down easily. And I had fun reading all her scenes.

I also love Jules' friends because they're honest with her and not ones to hold back when she's being difficult. Honest friends are definitely hard to come by.

Overall, this was a feel good book. Something light and cheesy that I'm looking forward to reading and I'm just glad it did live up to my expectation.

Christmas is here early with this magical rom-com of a novel by Morgan, that will swoon you away...

Mogan is a new to me author. And after reading Passenger Princess, I knew that she was going to be an instant favorite for me! My gosh, she did not disappoint. I am a sucker for a single father romance, and this one hit the spot for sure. Nate and Jules are spitting characters that one straight from a magical world of your typical Christmas romance. The best kind of Christmas romance that is. Because these two, from the moment they met, you know from reading that they are meant to be.

Their story starts in a very non-typical way, but ends with all the goodness of a true romance story that makes your feet kick back and forth, and giggle with lots of love and appreciation for Morgan's writing. And the relationship between Jules and Sophie was just the cutest! I love reading a natural born relationship between two characters that are just meant to be together as a family.

I am looking forward to reading more Morgan's books! Her writing is the type of writing that truly lets you dive into the best of the romance novels feelings 🩷

Spicy Level: 🌶️🌶️/5

Talk about a book with a title that nails the theme on the head, because this type of romance ONLY exists in movies (and books, apparently).

𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨:
One year ago, Jules and Nate met on New Year’s Eve and shared two magical nights together. They believed they had found their soulmate... with one problem. Nate didn’t tell Jules about his daughter, so when Jules sees him in the supermarket with his “family,” she assumes he’s married and a cheating scumbag—so, brokenhearted, she ghosts him and swears off love completely. Cut to “present day,” with Nate pining after the woman who got away, when his daughter makes a Christmas wish that he should marry her doll (which will never come true, right?) WRONG... because, at this moment, Jules’s life is falling apart. She’s flooded her apartment and ballet studio, rendering herself homeless. While dealing with the drama and standing outside in a tutu, a little girl asks her to be her new Mommy and marry her Dad, and then she realises who her daddy is... and their whole history comes crashing back between them.

𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨:
This book knows what it’s offering, and it plays into this cliché SUPER WELL. There’s A LOT of “that would only happen in a movie,” and that’s a big theme IN THE BOOK. It’s overdramatic at times, full of unrealistic coincidences, corny and sweet—but that’s exactly what this book is going for, and because of that, you can’t help but be happy and smile. It doesn’t take itself too seriously. This book will make you squeal, and if you enjoy a good rom-com, you’ll love this because it’s rom-com GOLD. One line from the book sums it up perfectly:
"But romance movies are the best. Predictable and funny, they always end happily. My favorite kind of stories.
It’s the kind of book that gives you the same vibes as watching all those Christmas rom-coms that might not be fully unique or unpredictable... BUT IT GIVES YOU THE BEST HEARTWARMING VIBES, and that’s all that matters!

Let me start with Nate... THIS MAN IS THE MAN OF YOUR DREAMS. He’s packed with green flags and is basically who you should imagine when you think of a perfect fictional boyfriend! He’s a caring father who loves and adores his daughter, wanting to give her everything her little heart desires. He’s so honest, open, and in tune with his feelings. He’s a complete family man, with the sweetest relationship with his parents and meddling sisters. MY GOSH, he’s sincere, generous, and OH SO THOUGHTFUL... THE MAN KEPT HER FAVOURITE COFFEE SYRUP FLAVOURS STOCKED IN HIS HOUSE after remembering she liked them, just in case she might one day be in his kitchen again!

Jules isn’t perfect, and at times she can be a bit annoying. She’s stubborn and insists on doing everything herself to prove she can, due to some childhood trauma, and struggles to accept help from Nate and his family. I did appreciate her independence and her ability to put her needs first. But she’s also a little damaged—a dreamer who was once so optimistic about love but became guarded after the misunderstanding with Nate. She builds very high walls, stubbornly refusing to take them down until Nate almost gives up on her...

I adored Sophie as she was an adorable little girl who just wanted her dad to be happy. I did think at times she sounded a little too "smart" to be 5 but I don't have kids so I have no way to know if her actions and dialogue were realistic for a child her age...

If you’re not a fan of miscommunication or instalove, you might find this challenging, as these elements set the scene for the book. Although the miscommunication is quickly cleared up, Nate’s instalove continues—he decided that New Year’s Eve that she was it for him and spends all his time trying to convince Jules to take a chance and love him back.

𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨

▷ "Show Me"

Even with its flaws, it’s a cute, sweet Christmas rom-com that’s going to give you exactly what you’re looking for. It’s predictable, funny, and ends in a Happily Ever After... just as it said in the book: the perfect kind of story!

Lemme start out saying, three stars is not bad🗣️🗣️
It's just average for me...
The book was cute and good but quite boring? There wasn't much to it tbh and I felt like it just needed more angst or character depth to make me more interested...
It's an easy read that has some spice so if that's what you're looking for this is a quick read for you<33

2.5/5 Ok, so I thought I would like this more, it’s very small town Christmas second chance romance - like a hallmark movie in a book. But I honestly just found it slow with no real depth and kind of boring. Maybe it’s because my normal tropes are usually darker, but I had a hard time finishing this. I wanted more heat and drama. The characters were okay, I found Nate a little too accommodating and “perfect”. Jules I respected her independence, but the constant doubt was a bit much.

Jules and Nate have a super hot one night stand (one weekend stand?) on New Years Eve and they both felt the magic connection they had. Too bad Jules thinks he was betraying his family and cuts off all contact a few days later. Flash forward to the next Christmas season and Nate adorable daughter Sophie thinks Jules is a real life version of her favorite doll and is there to help her Christmas wish come true. Nate will do anything to win Jules back, but she has her walls built high and is scared to make the leap into love.

I really enjoyed this story and adored little Sophie. Nate and Jules really are the perfect match for each other and Jules is the perfect addition to Nate and Sophie's little family. I can totally relate to Jules, being scared of love again after heartbreak. As a former dancer, I also loved that Jules was a dance instructor and dance studio owner. Overall, I this was a super cute holiday romance and I totally recommend this to all holiday romance lovers or holiday rom-com movie lovers.

small town christmas vibes were just what i needed ☺️
4 stars for Nate tbh he was almost too perfect

a few things that bothered me:
JULES. i felt like she was holding on to him “having a secret family” even after she realizes she messed up and that wasn’t the case. until the 75% she’s all “you RUINED ME last time” they were together for two days??? i kinda wish Nate would have made her stew for a couple days tbh ….
Sophie. i’m sorry but most of this didn’t give off the vibes that she’s a 5 year old. i think she was written a little too mature
HOW THEY LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN (like 2 sq miles small). HE KNOWS WHAT SHE DOES FOR A LIVING. SHE KNOWS HIS FULL NAME/HIS SISTER WORKS FOR HER (hello same last name???) and THEY ARE ABLE TO GO A WHOLE YEAR HIDING FROM EACH OTHER???

this was doing SO WELL for me y’all until we got to the halfway point. i just think the back end was kind of icky, i’m not a fan of miscommunication, and then the guy started reminding me too much of a guy i used to date 😂😭. that’s not to say it wasn’t cute, and there was definitely some really sweet moments. i just found it okay over all. 3⭐️ 2🌶️. enjoy my thoughts while reading:

- tropes: christmas, single dad, nanny

- the whole thing with sophie thinking jules is her doll come to life to so stinkin cute 🥹

- this is so sickly sweet and cute im loving it

- we’re like seven chapters in and he’s like “my girls” i love it here

- bahahah jaime and ava on the phone is sending me 😂😂

- DOLLFACE IM SCREAMING

- STOP IT HE BOUGHT THE SYRUPS 😭😭💖

- “i lied. i hung up the mistletoe. and it was so fucking worth it” IM SCREAMING AND KICKING MY FEET AHHHHH 😭🙌🏼💖

- them talking on the phone and just giggling is SO STINKIN CUTEEEE 😩

- daaaaaaaym okay the phone call turned dirty real fast 🔥

- i’m literally sat here screaming like “GO ON FACETIME!!!” 😂😂😂

- miscommunication is icking me :(

- also this guy reminds me way too much of someone i used to date

- this guy is so insecure sorry

This was very mindful, very demure, veryyyyyy cutesy!!!!! This was the perfect book to set you up for your holiday reads. A little girls Christmas wish is that his dad marries her version of her favorite doll and she sees her across the street!! Reminded me a little bit of the iconic movie Life Size. When the FMC and MMC look at each other they realize they have already met and both have been wondering about the other for over a year. This is for the girlies who love a romcom. This is their version of the movies and it is so cute!

4.5⭐️📖 𝙄𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙒𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙚 𝙗𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙝

“𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘺, 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴. 𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘺.“

I was so excited for another 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠 novel! The first book, 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨, was so freaking good. 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙝 once again delivered a swoon worthy romance story between Nate & Jules!

This story is about two people who had an amazing first encounter that lead to a steamy and passionate night. Jules was always searching for her “cinematic love story” and she’d believed she found it with Nate. After a misunderstanding leads her to block Nate, she swears off love and guards her heart against romance.

When a leak causes her apartment to be uninhabitable, her coworker offers her to stay in her brother’s guest house. Little does she know just who owns the house.

Nate is a single dad to his daughter Sophie. When Sophie’s Christmas wish is for Nate to marry a woman who is the embodiment of her favorite doll, Nate has to figure out how to let her down easy. When his daughter sees someone who looks like her doll, he was not prepared to see the woman who he can’t get out of his head.

This story was so freaking sweet and magical! Nate and his list of things she likes was so cute. He is the definition of a man obsessed. He was also super clever in the way he pursued Jules! 🤭

“𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘐’𝘮 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘰 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰. 𝘐’𝘮 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘵, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦. 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨.“

I adored all of the romance movie references and the way Nate revived Jules’ hopeless romantic heart!

This is a slow burn romance that ignites towards the end in the best spice!

“𝘔𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦.”
“𝘠𝘦𝘴.”
“𝘕𝘰, 𝘯𝘰. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘰. 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳.”

If you love books filled with the sweetest Christmas magic, and tons of great romance movie references, go add 𝙄𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙒𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙚 𝙗𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙝, to your TBR today!
