She thought she had to marry the local alpha bully to save her brother, but then an out-of-town wolf claimed her and gave her the winter wedding–and wedding night–of her dreams.

Soothsayer Sonya Berg will do anything to keep custody of her kid step-brother. Despite not being a shifter herself, she tolerates the local alpha’s bullying because a pup without a pack turns feral. But as much as she loves her sibling, when an out-of-town shifter offers them a better opportunity, the cost of accepting might be too high.

Enforcer Bayden Kirk’s earlier screwup derailed a mission, and now he needs to prove himself to his pack. Retrieving his alpha’s friend’s son from a small town should be easy. But the deranged local wolf-in-charge won’t give up pack guardianship unless Bayden marries the pup’s stubborn sister.

A marriage of convenience between this dominant pack enforcer and a sassy soothsayer is bound to be a disaster. But if they divorce, the younger pup must return to his dysfunctional pack—and somehow Bay’s wolf has claimed the fake bride as his true mate.

This is a steamy novella from USA Today bestselling author Asa Maria Bradley, starring stubbornly a pack enforcer with much to proove and a sassy soothsayer who’s sworn never to be dominated by a man. Throw in a marriage of convenience to save her little brother, and it is time to let the sexy games begin!

Wolf Duty by Asa Maria Bradley
Norse Warrior Protectors series #6. Paranormal shifter romance novella. Fated mates. Can be read as a stand-alone. Spinoff from the Viking Warriors, and Norse Billionaire Shifter series.
Sonya Berg’s step-brother is a natural born wolf shifter, a rarity. She’s a human, living in a wolf shifter pack after the loss of his parents. As a human, or even a soothsayer, Sonya isn’t part of the pack and doesn’t know what training or help Karim might need. She certainly can’t run after him when he shifts and runs away into the forest. New in town, Enforcer Bayden Kirk may be the answer in avoiding the marriage threat by the bullying pack leader. Bayden is already protective and understanding of Karim’s needs, plus the chemistry is sparking and they haven’t even kissed yet. Sonya needs to make a decision. Now.

Steamy and humorous, the story also includes a touch of seriousness as both Bayden and Karim have dyslexia and find a way to cope with it.
The ecopy I downloaded has a dozen editing corrections needed which will hopefully be updated soon.
A hero shifter romance novella to escape for an afternoon delight.

love the Norse mythology mixed in with werewolves. It definitely held my attention from beginning to end. I do struggle with dyslexia and it was nice reading about a character that also struggles with it.
I wish the book was longer and had more to it, I felt then ending was rushed but overall it was a nice short read. Would recommend to others if they were interested in a short, fantasy romance.

I volunteerly reviewed this book for ARC

I was kindly given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I've read a few of Asa's books and those in the noise protector series and I absolutely love getting to find out more about all our charecters!

As usual the spice is so well written, it's hot, fast paced and truly great!

Without this element for me this book is a solid 4 stars, But Asa it pushe'd up by how good you have covered living with dylexia in such a short book. I felt so seen reading about his struggles and how his dyslexia affects him. And there is so many bonus points for bringing up that e-readers have a dyslexic friendly font! Something not many people are aware of and I've tried to post about often myself.

Well done and I cannot wait to read your next one!!!

Wolf Duty by Asa Maria Bradley is book 6 in the Norse Warrior Protectors series. Each book is interconnected but can be read as a standalone.
I’ve read a couple of these books now and I must say I have really enjoyed them all. I ploughed through this book and couldn’t put it down.

This story follows Bay, a wolf shifter who we met very briefly in book 5. Following his story to find his true mate as he helps a shifter pup and her sister, this book will give you chills. Spotting the wolf shifter, fated mates and marriage of convenience, I was not expecting the ending it had but I loved how it brought out and highlighted Bay’s vulnerability while he was still able to save the girl.

Although the story and characters in themselves were so likeable, what got me most about this book was the portrayal and understanding around the difficulties of people with dyslexia. Having characters who on the outside portray the tough guy persona but underneath are dealing with their own struggles was so refreshing to read. As a teacher, the importance of sharing an understand of people’s differences and difficulties is so important and to see it in adult books is truly wonderful.

I have not been disappointed after reading any of Asa’s books and you won’t be either. Go pick up a copy!

I enjoy reading Bradley's Norse Shifters books. They are quick, steamy, and easy to digest. Great palate cleansers in between meatier, more emotional stories. 💖

Asa Maria Bradley's Norse Warrior Protector Books are quick reads, but they really don't suffer for that. Like the previous books that I've read, Wolf Duty pulls you in from the very first second and it's impossible not to be hooked on Bay and Sonya's story.
I loved the way that Bay has something he sees as being a weakness, but that Sonya sees in a completely different way. I also thought that they worked well together.
This quick read was one that I struggled to put down. I loved joining their world. Although it doesn't suffer for its length, I of course wanted more. In an ideal world we would have seen far more of everyone. I really enjoyed what we did get in any case.

This is a sweet and spicy short about Sonya, who is looking after her brother, Karim and Bay who is sent to ensure that Karim is OK. I liked Sonya and she would do anything for her brother, whilst Bay was protective of both of them. I thought that their dynamic worked really well. I especially liked Karim as he was fun and mischievous. This is a great read.

I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of this novella.

This story is part of the Norse protectors series which are linked stand alones.
Wolf Duty has become one of my favourites in the series. It has the right amount of drama and humour for a book that you can read in one sitting. This one isn't too spicy but still hit a few of my favourite tropes like found family, arranged marriage and mates.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

I read this book in one sitting and I loved every second of it, I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry and passion between Sonya Berg and Bayden Kirk is undeniable and sizzling. They were made for each other.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a fated mates, werewolf, small town romance then you’re going to love it.

🚨 Alpha bullies, steamy winter weddings, and a marriage of how-did-we-get-here? – Wolf Duty by Asa Maria Bradley serves it all on a silver platter (or should I say, a howling full moon 🌕🐺).

Sonya Berg has one mission: protect her little brother at all costs. Her options? Endure the local alpha's toxic vibes or marry him (🤢 hard pass). But just when she's about to sacrifice her happiness, Bayden Kirk—a broody, out-of-town enforcer with something to prove—comes crashing into her life with a growl and a "marry me, not him" offer. Cue the swoon-worthy, winter wonderland wedding of her dreams 💍❄️…and a "wedding night" that makes her forget all about those alpha bullies. 🔥😏

This novella is a whirlwind of sass, steam, and shifter drama. Sonya's a soothsayer who doesn’t take orders, Bayden’s a wolf who secretly loves when she calls him out, and their chemistry? Explosive. 💥💋 Add a feral little brother needing a pack, and you've got stakes that hit right in the feels.

Expect sexy banter, snow-dusted romance, and a reminder that sometimes fate doesn’t just knock—it breaks the door down and claims you. 🌲🐾 #TrueMateVibes

✨Witty, wild, and wonderfully wolfy—grab your mug of hot cocoa ☕ and dive into this wintery, shifter-love novella. Thank me later. 😉

Genre & Tropes : Paranormal romance x Shifters x Arranged Marriage x Mate at first sight x Novella

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

A nice little shifters romance

The summary made me want to read it as well as the arranged marriage and more or less single mother side but it was too short for the romance to really develop well ><

On the other hand, I really liked the dyslexia of the main male character and the way it is treated =)

In short, a nice read but which would have deserved to be longer ! !

Bay is an enforcer for his pack. When he is severely injured on undercover mission he feels like he may have lost the respect of the pack. Once you recovers these offered another mission he jumps on it. He's to retrieve a young wolf from another pack. What should have been simple turned out complicated because the young wolf step sister official try to do like a long time Sonia is his true mate. And the alpha where she lives is trying to force her into a marriage. I really enjoyed this book because I love shifter books but I also love Vikings so to have the two reference in the same book was amazing. I would love more of the background on the Vikings like Ulf. Also as somebody who struggles with dyslexia myself I enjoyed reading about it.

I really enjoyed this story. I thought the characters were great. I really like that the main male character and the supporting male character both suffer from dyslexia. I think that makes them more relatable and I really enjoyed that connect between Bay and Karim. I would highly recommend if you enjoy shifter and instalove stories.
Sonya is trying to raise her stepbrother in the wolf pack that their father belong to but she isn't a wolf and isn't sure what she is doing. When an out of town wolf stops by the coffee shop she is working at, the sparks fly. Sonya and Bay don't get off to a great start but the attraction keeps pulling them together. Then the alpha of the pack approaches Sonya with an ultimatum, Bay is there to help her out. After some action, there is a HEA.

Bayden and Sonya. Shes a soothsayer not a shifter. Shes guardian to her step brother a shifter. The alpha of the pack they are in now is a bully and to save him must marry him. Bay is an enforcer for another pack. The alpha in the other pack wants his friends son. The only way the bully alpha will give him up is if Bay marries Sonya. While Bay is thinking marry get home and then divorce the bully alpha says if they divorce then the pup comes back to his pack. They may have been pushed together as a marriage of convience but thats not how it ends up. There is chemistry from the start. Their journey is one you wont want to miss.

Bay is a pack enforcer who prides himself on his work. Sonya's a soothsayer who vows never to let a man control her. They're two strangers who come together in marriage to save her little brother. I've really enjoyed this series and this novella was no exception. Asa Maria Bradley's books have always been a hit for me and this one did not disappoint. I was hooked on this captivating story from start to finish. There's a lot packed into this story making it one intriguing read. I absolutely loved this book and am sincerely hoping there's more to come. I highly recommend both book and series.

I did receive an ARC of this book and this is my honest, unbiased review.

I love wolf shifter romances and this series brings in other magical creatures as well which made it even better. Sonya Berg is caught in the middle of shifter politics. She's not a shifter but her mom briefly dated one and he became a stepfather figure to her. Now she has a stepbrother who is a shifter in need of a legal guardian. To become a legal guardian to a wolf pup she has to marry a shifter. Bay is her fated mate but has his own problems and he's from a different pack. The angst was amazing! Although this is book 6 in the Norse Warrior Protectors series it was perfectly fine as a stand alone.

The Enforcer and his human mate

“I’ll want you to the end of my days, but you deserve a mate who didn’t blackmail you into marriage.”

A heartwarming and steamy story about the power of found family. Sonya is struggling to raise her stepbrother Karim since she is a human and he is a wolf shifter cub. Bayden is a dyslexia pack enforcer from another pack who offers them a different pack to become a member. One catch though-Sonya needs to marry him. Love how dyslexia is handled in such a matter of fact manner and love, love, love Nora. She is a total bada$$. Would love a story on Adult Karim in the future 😁. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this story.

Sonya wants to keep custody of her kid stepbrother Karim after his parents passed but the pack Karim's dad was with don't like humans to raise wolf shifters. Karim is a natural born wolf shifter, which is a rarity cause both his parents were shifters. Dale the Alpha gave her 2 choices, and both choices aren't good. But a out of town shifter Bayden is gonna do everything to help Sonya, plus bring Karim to his pack. Bayden is an enforcer for Arek his Alpha. Bay and Karim both suffer from dyslexia and try to find a way to cope with it. This was a very good novella, and if u love Wolf Shifters, ur definitely gonna wanna read this series.

OMG this was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was incredible intense and mind blowing. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. The chemistry between them was sexual and the physical attraction was spicy hot and they couldn’t fight the temptation any longer of emotions and romance. Forbidden love affair was too hot and chaos of danger and passion as they. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. Yep, it’s been decided. This author is a new favorite of mine. She’s able to weave so many elements seamlessly and keep me completely enthralled in the story. It’s funny, charming, creative, romantic, exciting, and just makes you all-around happy. Even though I hadn’t read any of the previous books in the series, that in no way decreased the experience of reading this one. Do not hesitate to pick this one up!

This standalone story, part of a spinoff from the Viking Warriors and Norse Billionaire Shifter series, weaves together humor, romance, and the struggles of living with dyslexia. The infusion of Norse mythology with the werewolf lore adds a unique twist, creating an enchanting backdrop for the unfolding romance. The mythological elements are seamlessly integrated, enriching the narrative without overshadowing the romance. This is an absolute read if you love Norse Mythology; and some hot dominant characters

Excellent paranormal romance story. The characters and storyline are very well developed. Bag is an enforcer for his pack, but he has a personal secret. Sonia is a human that lives with another pack, but she’s trying to raise her younger brother who is a wolf. The book touches on the subject of dyslexia. It’s entertaining, dangerous, and a romantic suspense. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading future books by Ms. Bradley.

Was Bayden's trip solely because of his duty or did fate pay a part in his assignment? It was nice (different but nice) to see a wolf with a human dysfunction. I was also glad to see this switch from some other shifter stories where the wolf who kills a pack alpha becomes that pack's new alpha. Sonya and Karim would not have fared well in that environment, especially not Sonya. The book worked out just the way I hoped it would with both death and happiness.

Another great book by Asa!!! I loved it so much! This one is about the first born wolf pup that is born from two shifters, which isn't normal to do and very rare. So there so much that Sonya goes through to keep Karim with her and the help that Bay does to make sure everything is the way it should be! I loved every book that I have read from this series. Honestly I always feel like I am not reading for long because of it!

Loved the fact that it touched on having a learning/reading issue. The found family was sweet. I didn't think there was alot of spice, but I mean it still has wolf shifters so that is a win. I liked how other characters from the stories showed up but you didn't really need to know their story to enjoy this one.

Loved this little novella!
I'd like to see more about Sonya's powers, watch her grow and learn as Karim does with his shifting.
The inner sass behind Karim when given the chance to shine and how sweet he is with his sister is adorable.
Bayden has a great connection and bond with both Karim and Sonya, like the missing jigsaw piece of their little family.

When the whole Lloyd issue came into play, then it started going south. Then there was Arek assigning Brayden an assignment to locate a young pup. It was hard to navigate around his disability to deal with some job performances. Brayden is good at what he does, goes after bad wolves. I think that Dale is an selfish wolf that doesn't go by any laws in his city. It's his way or no way. I received a copy from the author and voluntarily decided to leave a review.
