This book was surprisingly enthralling. I devoured it in a day because I could not put it down!

I am a sucker for a second-chance romance, and this one had plenty of mystery and drama to keep me entertained. The French setting was a beautiful touch.

The spice level in this book was fun and I loved how much chemistry the duo had.

Despite his sneakiness, I really liked Jackson, and I loved that he wasn't willing to let Evie go so easily. In comparison, I found Evie a little frustrating. While I understood her reluctance and fear, I found her constant inability to accept that there was something more between them to be quite grating by the end of the book.

Despite this, I enjoyed the story overall and look forward to diving into the next book in the series.

I absolutely ✨𝑫𝑬𝑽𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑬𝑫✨ this book yesterday evening. Like, read it in 3 hours after being in a book slump for the last 10+ days.

If you’re looking for something that will distract you from the hellscape that is this world for a little while - this is it. It’s like if Hallmark, Lifetime, & Passionflix all came together and were like, “Hey, let’s write a super emotional but super sexy story about lovers-to-enemies back to sorta hate-fucking-reluctant-lovers that are on a vacation with both their families, a (now ex) fiancé, a crazy flavor of the week, unresolved trauma and a dash of attempted murder…set in France…but also make it NC-17…in the most tasteful way,” that’s 𝘼 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡 by @anyalondonauthor in a nutshell. Evie & Jackson’s story is heartbreaking but beautiful and everything is wrapped up in the end so no pesky cliffhangers to deal with! Hooray for HEA’s!

Ooh la la! This book is the perfect mix of scandal, spice, and second chances 🇫🇷💋🔥

A Very French Scandal by Anya London had me hooked from the first page. Hidden marriages? Spicy ultimatums? Old flames rekindling in Paris? YES PLEASE.

Evie Campbell thought her whirlwind marriage to billionaire bad boy Jackson Auclair was long buried… until she accidentally strolls into his territory (aka France) with her new fiancé 😅 And let’s just say, Jackson does not take that lightly.

Cue: a delicious two-week forced proximity situation filled with sizzling chemistry, sharp banter, old wounds, and steamy tension. Jackson might be the king of a global sex empire, but it’s Evie who’s got him on his knees 🔥

This isn’t just a spicy romance — it’s also about reclaiming love, ambition, and identity. Anya London delivers a story that’s bold, emotional, and outrageously fun. I couldn’t stop turning the pages!

If you love messy exes, Parisian settings, billionaire drama, and just the right amount of scandal… this one’s your next read!

Imagine accidentally running into your secret ex-husband in France with your new fiancé in town. Yeah, Evie Campbell’s life is basically a rom-com, if rom-coms came with blackmail, luxury hotels, and a man who owns the world’s largest sex club. (Move over, Jackson Auclair is here to ruin your life and maybe steal your heart again.)

Evie thought she was done with Jackson like, “we divided the world in the divorce” done. She got the western U.S., he got France, and they swore to never cross paths again. So, naturally, the first thing she does is crash-land in Paris. With her future husband. Chaos? Oh, absolutely.

Jackson? Hot, filthy rich, emotionally damaged, and plotting to launch a Vegas nightclub, but there’s a pesky divorce clause in his way. Solution? Get Evie to spend two weeks with him so he can sweet-talk (or steamroll) her into lifting the ban. What could go wrong? Oh right, feelings.

This book is dripping with sass, scandal, and sexual tension so thick it deserves its own boarding pass. It’s messy in the best way—like if Bravo produced a romance novel. Anya London knows how to write characters you want to throttle and smooch in equal measure.

Probably should have DNFed - was skimming by the end to figure out the mystery but was pretty meh. Wanted to read this before reading the Scottish one but will probably skip the other installments.
