If Mad Max and Die Hard had a baby, it would be called Desert Kill.
In the desert, there are no rules, except Never transport psychotic criminals. When the U.S. Marshals asked me to escort public enemy number one through the Arizona desert, saying no wasn’t an option.
If I’d known car chases, explosions, and a band of outlaws were on the agenda, I’d have called in my old Army Ranger buddies for backup. But I’m no ordinary prison guard. And this bastard chose the wrong FBI agent to threaten.
If it’s the wild west he wants, it’s the wild west he’ll get. But out here, I’m the law—judge, jury, and executioner.
This is the 3rd in the series and another page turner. In this one, Dean is still trying to get out from the FBI as he was guaranteed just three more years and they would let him out, but the three years are up and they are still "blackmailing" him to stay in.
This times Dean is going to work with the US Marshall department and taking one of the worst criminals to another prison. Just a two day job, easy one..But if you know Dean, this is going to be like the wild west with car chases, shoot out and Dean running for his life!
....in short order. Can not believe the curves this story takes on. If I have learned anything from reading this series it's that in order to be a badass FBI agent you need to be tougher and smarter (or dumber) than the bad guys. This one is full of drama and gunfights.
