With books 4-6 now in a box set, I’m going to copy/paste my individual reviews into one big post!
💚Book 4: Her Orc Protector💚
Her Orc Protector is the fourth installment in the Black Bear Clan. This is my favorite orc series and I think this is my favorite story yet! There’s a lot of healing in this book and it hit me with all the feels! It gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!
Ivy has been accused of being a witch by her town. After being tied to a tree deep in the woods and left to die she thinks it’s only a matter of time before the wolves find her. She doesn’t realize something bigger was lurking and saw her. Korr has a hunting cabin in the woods nearby when he hears Ivy’s cries for help. The minute he scents her he realizes she’s his fated mate. After rescuing her they end up stranded in his cabin during a storm. Their forced proximity causes a lot of emotions to stir and a love to blossom.
Their real challenge is when he takes her back to the hill. Korr has issues being stuck underground and a fractured relationship with his brother, which is why he tends to stay in the cabin. Meanwhile Ivy is terrified of being persecuted as a witch even though her powers are just remnants of what they could be. These two have to navigate a new relationship and try to balance their needs with the needs of their partner.
I loved this story! Korr and Ivy have both suffered a lot in their life and have fears that need dealt with. Korr’s backstory and relationship with his brother broke my heart. Thank god his brothers story is book five! And poor Ivy… she was just trying to survive on her own and ended up being cast out to die. They end up being a perfect match for one another. It’s such a sweet story with a great ending!

💚Book 5: Her Orc Husband💚
Her Orc Husband is book number 5 in the Black Bear Clan series! This story is not only full of love, but also so much healing! I absolutely loved Marut and Violet’s story. This gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!
We briefly met Marut in book 4 as the brother who tormented sweet Korr when they were kids. I loved seeing him redeem himself and slowly rebuild his relationship with his brother.
Violet has some trauma with people touching her… which proves to be a bit difficult when she ends up with a loving orc. Marut gives everything he can emotionally to Violet to prove to her he’s in love with her. He even puts all the physical components of their relationship in her hands. He’s so sweet and patient with Violet while she works through her trauma.
It’s such a great representation of a healthy relationship with boundaries and I really admire Zoe for writing these two and their journey!

💚Book 6: Her Orc Blacksmiths💚
Her Orc Blacksmiths was a wonderfully sweet addition to her Black Bear Clan series! This why choose puts the FMC between two hunky orcs (and I’m super jealous!). This gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!
I adored the set up for this book. Jasmine wanders up to the orc territory in search of a mate… and gets TWO! (Seriously… girl how lucky can you get?!)
I liked how we got to know each MC on their own and together in various ways. Jasmine, Morg, and Torren fit together just perfectly. I loved the stream between everyone and how open they were to becoming a triad. That open communication really upped the character development for everyone. I also really loved how Morg and Torren even had their moments together 🥹.

This is a fab collection of stories that really hit me right. I'll review Her Orc Protector to give you an idea of the reading fun you'll find inside:
This was such a fun premise for a first meeting that I have to say I gobbled this book up ;D I really enjoyed how Ivy and Korr ended up sharing their strengths and vulnerabilities, and working through them, that I was really engaged in their outcome. Of course, there was fab and knotty steam, as well ;P I'm really enjoying this series but this one might be my fav to date.
So much to enjoy in this series and now it's bundled up into two collections for binge reading entertainment ;D

This second set of three stories is lead character POV, well written, and each is a sweet and steamy, fantasy romance. I enjoyed the banter and playfulness in each one, as well as the serious handling of sensitive needs. I enjoyed the intimate scenes and the variety of build up and engagement. I enjoyed that the characters cared deeply for each other and lead characters in one story are integrated secondary characters in others. I also love a box set for ease of binge reading!

I just love this series and the boxset made doing a reread of it so much easier and more convenient!
These are my three favourite books of the series and I loved them all being together!! Korr, Marut and Torren and Morg are just amazing and I love their ladies just are much!
This series is full of big, protective, loving, sweet orcs and their fated fiesty human mates!! If you haven’t already read this story this is a great way to read it.

More Bellhaven Clan
I enjoyed these three stories as much as the first three. I suggest reading the books in order as more characters are added and the new stories include characters of the previous books. Lots of angst, some danger, adventure and fated love. All ending in HEA.

I love that she decided to group these books together. They are fast, fun reads. This cover is absolutely gorgeous, and I will definitely be adding it to my bookshelf.

I adored this series. Even though I have already read and reviewed the books in this collection, I don't mind revisiting them once more. They all deserve a five-star rating from me.
