Samantha Cokeley was raised in a small town in Oklahoma. Growing up, she always had an active imagination and an interest in crafting stories. She developed a love for writing after college when she discovered anime and fan fiction. If she isn’t spending time painting colorful sea creatures, you can find her with family, including her pug named Kylo. The This Blood that Binds Us series ends this year. But you can expect many more stories with vampires, heartwarming found family, and fluff to come.

honestly the best explanation for why this is a five star for me is because the heartwarming and tender moments with the found family. this story is not a literature masterpiece nor did i care that it wasn’t it poured me with immense joy and warmth. seeing kimberly’s journey in finding her family atlast was so satisfying. each and everyone of the group characters were beautiful, unique, lush, and all were irreplaceable. when i read the author’s note about her being 19 when she first wrote this right then i knew that i was going to absolutely adore this book because watching the journey with the characters it was like i was also there living it and cheering them on. i loved aaron, he was absolutely the perfect ray of sunshine i was craving, its exhausting having the same recycled mmc and kim? i related so hard with just never finding my people and i pray that someday i find my aaron along with a group that loves unconditionally. i’m forever grateful for crossing paths with this incredibly raw and authentic story each character will forever have a special place in my heart 🩷
