I'll be screaming, crying, and throwing up till this is released. I will not know a second of peace till I get my little grubby hands on it. I'm clocking myself as the first preorder. Is this true? Who knows. But I am fulfilling my family's desire to find Jesus. I'm finding him alright. During his second cumming—and I oop.

Anyway, I had religion shoved down my throat as a child and all I got for it was religious trauma and this book....Fairtrade, I'm afraid (and I'd do it again). Should be a standard present for those who leave the church. Maybe we can have a goodie bag? Like thanks for leaving a brainwashing cult, here is a goodie bag where Jesus gets railed—

Update: Still screaming, crying, and throwing up but now it's released and I have feelings. How do I respectfully throw hands? This was amazing and Zena how could you do this to me? I need a formal apology for everything I'm feeling. Looking up how to get the TOS to respectfully fight my good friend for this masterpiece. You, me, Taco bell. I will have to fight you but I will be crying doing it. Love you!

I've been thinking all morning on how to rate this book. I overall liked this story, but it is not as advertised. so if you've come to this book for JudasxJesus omegaverse (only half of these words are in the bible), just know that that is... largely not what this book is. that does not happen until maybe the last ten pages? but even so, this was not a disappointing tale. as someone who knows next to nothing of catholicism/the Bible, the story between Emmanuel and Kerioth read just like any other fairytale, just with a bit more MLM✨️

To my delighted surprise, this had to be one of the most beautifully written books that I read this year. This surpassed all expectations and I find myself wanting to read it again. It was terrifying and poetic and I nearly cried at the end because it was so beautiful. Can't wait to have this in hard copy.

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I bought this book and you know what? Hell yeah. Hell fucking yeah I fuck with this hard
I finished it in a day because I was so enraptured and I really loved the writing style so so much.
As someone with religious trauma who is now a atheist I found this story comforting in a way I can’t quite explain
It’s a strange thing to say considering but I found comfort and a sense of familiarity in reading a version of stories I’ve known told only one way told completely differently.
I could feel a lot of love and care was put into this and the fact there is no more is agonizing

This really got brought to my attention based on what occurs in the last 5 pages or so. So i feel a little deceived- maybe thats the Judas point! But this was actually extremely well written. I was so impressed with the alternative takes on the Biblical narrative. I think it shines a light on how important perspective is on events, How easy it would be to fabricate the Bible, and also how implausible the bible is. Enjoyed this for reasons i did not pick this book up for. It was kind of lacking in the areas i did pick it up for.

Bravo!

I’ve been following this story since the author was posting on TikTok about the idea of writing it. While it started as a joke I was glad to see it come into reality!

I felt there was some confusing aspects of the world building and it did jump a bit from character to character but I feel that once you understand where those characters fit you should be fine to understand I just wish it had been a bit more clear. Overall I was glad to see the joke become a reality!

Not to be dramatic

I have religious trauma which is kind of why I wanted to read this in the first place (healing doesn't have to make sense). Anyway I kind of expected a lighthearted gay little story and instead I was crying alone in bed, kicking my feet giggling and screaming into my pillow. I loved this book.
Sidenote I learned 68 words from this book. 68 words. Incredible.

I mostly bought this for shits and giggles because I saw the author's tiktok videos and I thought it sounded funny.
But this book was a very pleasant surprise and I'm definitely going to reread it many times!

Clearly well researched with delightful imagery and a cosmic horror take on the relationship between Jesus and Judas. I have some small nitpicks with the prose, but that doesn't make it any less of a ride.
I read it at work, too........

love the concept as a jesus/judas aficionado, i just think the ending was rushed and would have preferred if it didn't take place in heaven and there was more focus on the betrayal and the feelings there.

Great idea, good execution. Got a bit lost here and there, especially with the wording and paragraphs, but liked it. Thank you for bringing us this story!

First off, love this author’s TikToks and all her amazing omegaverse content so much! Her ideas are so inspiring and I crave to read fanfics with some of those plots in mind.

I hate leaving such a low rating but ultimately I didn’t care for this as much as I had hoped. I enjoyed the build up and the details within the setting, truly great writing; but I wasn’t expecting it to be so plot paced. There was very little omegaverse mentioned until the end and even then it kinda fell flat compared to this author’s ideas mentioned in her videos. The characters were okay but I didn’t catch myself rooting for them, honestly kinda bummed out I spent ten bucks for this.

so good!

I loved this book! It was so interesting! Very well done and I love how the author described everything. When I saw this on the author’s tiktok I knew I needed to read it! I don’t regret it at all. Very quick read but it’s perfect. Very sweet despite the horror. Best of both worlds.

I didn't know what the generally expect from this book, at first I was lost when it came to hidden references but as I progressed I began to realize real quick on what was going on. I love the references to the specific time periods and how everyone was set in place with dynamics and events.

It's beautifully written and described along with a subtle horror feel mixed with romance, the way the ending was is honestly I feel is an accurate way to how Christ is with wanting to redeem specific souls'.

It's not for everyone I know that but if you are mostly open minded I would suggest giving it a try.
