내 눈이 잘못되었나?
“누나! 일어나 봐! 알람을 뭐 이상하게 맞춰 놨……어?”
눈을 떴더니 졸지에 누나가 읽던 BL 소설 속 악역인 열성 오메가, 성찬영이 되어 버렸다.
성찬영의 역할이란…… 메인수인 서은수에게 열등감을 불태우다가 결국 공들에게 비참한 결말을 맞는 악역이었다.
이대로라면 나는 서은수를 사랑하는 공들에게 쓱싹당할 운명이다.
'이대로 죽을 순 없다!'
“……미안합니다. 서은수 씨. 당신을 괴롭혔던 것에 대해 진심으로 사과하고 싶어요.”
"네?"
우선 메인수를 찾아가 싹싹 빌고,
"오늘부터 우리 헤어지자."
"...갑자기?"
"나 너 이제 안 좋아해. 파혼하자. 너도 나 안 좋아했잖아?"
성찬영의 약혼자와도 헤어졌다.
그동안 성찬영이 추근거렸던 다른 공들 연락처도 싹 다 차단 걸고 지운 다음 튀었다.
어디로? 한적하고 물 좋은 시골로.
악역재벌수 좋다는 게 뭐냐. 짓고 싶은 농사나 실컷 지으며 살기로 했다.
그렇게 즐거운 마음으로 상추를 심고 딸기 모종을 사 오고 시고르자브종 개 한 마리를 키우며 행복해하고 있었는데...
"여기서 이러고 살겠다고 사라진 거였어? 고작?"
공들이 나를 쫓아왔다.
그런데 이 자식들이. 야, 너희 농사 무시해?

this was fun to read! at the beginning, i didn’t really like any of the gongs and i just wanted the mc to be left alone. speaking of mc, i loved him sm! like his backstory was just so sad and really hit me in the feels. im just a sucker for sad backstories. his love for farming was so funny too! bro went from a businessman to a farmer. the ending was perfect imo. the fact that he (SPOILER: chose the novel’s shou instead of the gongs was perfect). the gongs imo weren’t the best either. they were at times entitled and did what they want. as the story progressed they stopped but it was just annoying. i also liked the original villain. he was very flawed, and i liked that about him. everyone in his life refused to give him affection and that balled up, leading to his ending. i really felt pity for him. the translation wasn’t the best, although that’s the case with most translations of korean novels. the pronouns would be mixed up, the pov’s would switch from first to third, and at times you couldn’t tell who was talking. regardless, if you can ignore that, this one was a cliche but fun read.

July 15, 2025My translation isn’t perfect, but I’m having fun. Couldn’t stop reading when I started late at night, had to force myself to go to sleep at 5am
