In which the original party of Goblin Slayer, Dwarf Shaman, Lizard Priest, High Elf Archer, and Priestess are sent off on their separate ways to take part in all kinds of new and exciting adventures yet at the end, the disparate story threads tie together to set the stage for the next volume.
It’s good to see more aspects of the world and to introduce/revisit different characters. Each of these mini adventures gives more insight into these characters along with the promise of more goblins to be slain.
It’s difficult to imagine that this series began with such shocking violence because now it’s morphed into a slice-of-life / adventuring story and it’s all the better for it.
I think it may say something about the vaguely repetitive nature of this series that the best story in here was the one about totally different characters.
Yet another new adventure opens up for the Goblin Slayer group as all five of them went off on separate adventures and get partied up with different group of friends. It's pretty interesting to see how the different adventurers could work together not being with their usual groups. Interestingly enough, this time the only group that dealt with a goblin subjugation quest was the former Rookie Warrior trio while all five of the Goblin Slayer party end up with dealing with a non-goblin related quest.
Really love how the different adventures were laid out together, and while at first it seemed as if all of the different quests taken by everyone were unrelated to each other... it was pretty exciting to see how in the end it turned out that everything was connected into this one big scheme! Even for the rogue group, in which I thought that we wouldn't be able to see more of them but then we did! We even got to see a proper battle scene where the Hero have to face the main enemy, and how with everyone's help was able to gain victory and save the world once again.

I see what the author tried to do: show that all adventurer teams while doing their small parts were actually contributing to a considerably larger quest. However, it was just boooooooooooring. Nothing new about the quests, no character development... this series really needs to either pick up the pace, or conclude.
Another peek into the lives of the other characters and good things happening when you split the party for once. Everyone's doing there own thing, lots of cool dynamics between characters that pass by each other, and a nice fresh air breath from the usual goblin stuff. It's a good break from the usual and has a lot of DND references which I enjoyed!
The author brings us a collection of different stories that tie together nicely. Fo a change, there are no goblins in this volume, but we get a closer look to a lot of different characters that had appeared in previous volumes. Really nice stories that shows us a little bit of the background of the world in which Goblin Slayer is based.
When the story only slaying goblins, not just the characters inside became boring, us too 😫 It's a campaign made by the gods now, and the content of the campaign... You could guess it correctly 😜
