Goblin Slayer and crew on a low-stakes adventure to find a missing centaur princess. It was fine (goblins were slain). I just wish there was more plot development happening in this series. Currently, it's feeling a little underwhelming.

At last I catched up with the latest English translation. Well, goblins in the grass plain, and the next is in royal capital. I understand there are still many adventures, but we need plots.

This one was a significant step down from Volume 14. There is nothing wrong with a routine adventure - in fact, most of the Goblin Slayer light novels are routine adventures, with the biggest ones being the most exciting. However, this one was just less interesting.

Premise: a centaur princess runs away from home, her best and closest friend comes trying to find her since she never wrote back. There is chicanery involved which leads to a mild mystery. The problem is that I didn't care for a single one of the centaurs, which severely undermines the entire book. I do have a bit of empathy for Baturu's point of view, especially because I think she's right, but that's not enough to salvage her after her introduction.

Overall, Goblin Slayer continues to develop slowly, with one of the best scenes very early on in the light novel involving Goblin Slayer and Cow Girl's Uncle. Besides these small interactions, this one does not have much to recommend it and is a middling experience.

Another low stakes adventure with Goblin Slayer and his party as they tried to rescue a missing centaur princess and once again inevitably get caught up with goblins.

Despite the fact that I enjoyed this rather by-the-numbers RPG style story, it’s becoming quite frustrating that the overall plot of this series is not progressing. Goblin Slayer’s character development proceeds at a glacial pace, even priestess has had more rapid character development than he has.

As I continue with this series, more out of obligation now than anything else, I continue to wonder where exactly is it going.

Same as before, with adventure mix with some mysteries. Also bit indepth with Beard Cutter character development, less blunt compare to the previous volume but the progression is there for sure, albeit more subtle.
