However, her superiors at Hourglass Genetics do not see the same promise as her. When the project is abruptly canceled, Mariah is left with two abandon her life’s work or go down fighting.
Refusing to give up, Mariah sets out to prove everyone wrong. But her ambition takes a dark turn, leading to unexpected and disastrous results. Now, with the help of some unlikely allies, Mariah must race against the clock to find the creature and put it down. Although seemingly simple enough, it proves to be a far bigger task than any of them imagined. To make matters worse, the creature is quickly finding its place in the food chain.
