I loved the graphic design, it's probably the pretties book/magazine I own. The writing style of all the articles is quite fancy but I do feel like some of them are more style over substance. The artical about WarioWare just makes a summary of the game for 3 pages, the only truly remarkable insight being the last section about other games in the genre. Most articles feel kind of padded out where I often had the thought "What did I actually learn from this article". Nevertheless there are some wonderful articles, I loved learning about Rieko Kodama and Nitrome. The interviews with Rodney Greenblatt and Fumito Ueda were also very insightful.

After reading this I immediately backed Issue #4 and am very hyped to buy #1 and #2 in the future as well.

A beautiful entry. The profound waste of times usually alternate between amazing entries and "what is this doing here". In this issue I had that with only two of the articles, the rest were a joy to read
