I have been reading this book now for a couple of months and I am utterly devastated to be leaving this world. The length of time I have been reading does not reflect my thoughts of the book (life gets in the way).
Everything about this book is a 10/10. The descriptions, the plot, the romance, the characters.
I have no words for the ending other than it leaves you wanting sooooooo much more. What a whirlwind this journey has been. Screaming, crying, throwing up!!!!
As mainly a romance reader this book does not contain an awful lot but fear not, you will not be starved. The tension, the longing, the anticipation is everything and more.
Next book immediately please???

My only complaint is that book #2 isn't out
This was such a great read. I finished the entire book in 2 days. I'm currently nursing an awful book hangover from this story and need the second book immediately.

What a thoroughly enjoyable and heartwarming story.
The FMC a Welsh witch Margot Llewelyn
The MMC a pure blood vampire Gabriel Sinclaire
The main plot of the story featuring wendigo's wanting the FMC did leave me wanting more as it diverted straight into the story tensions building between the main characters and was mainly centred around the MMCs life.
I need more. How long until book 2.....
The relationship between the main characters were really quite sweet even if it does start with Gabriel stalking Margot at first, but as it progresses and Margot gets to know Gabriel better, you cant help but feel warm and fuzzy. He wants to protect to and help her be all that she can be and she dotes on the affection he gives and slowly brakes the wall from around her heart.
All whilst dealing with the fact that all shifters, vampires and witches do not mingle or form relationships with each other.

This was a bit of a struggle for me. It felt overly long and the pacing was very uneven, which was a shame as the world building and premise were interesting.
I had major issues with Margo and Gabriel. Margo is austere, emotionally distant and uncompromisingly self-righteous, so I just couldn’t warm to her. Gabriel constantly gate-keeps the truth and is so contradictory in his actions that I couldn’t trust him. This particular plot point was so overplayed that it became annoying and lost interest. Despite the passion between them, I disappointingly felt no chemistry.
The ending is an intriguing cliffhanger which would probably have pulled me into the next book, had I enjoyed this one more. Sadly, I didn’t

I really liked this. It’s well written and the plot flows seamlessly. The author really delves into the characters which I appreciate because it nurtures an emotional connection to them.
It didn’t get 5 stars because it dragged a bit. I felt the story could have progressed a little quicker with more “action.”
Margot’s character PMO at the end because she reacts like a coward and I felt that was off kilter based on her strong personality.
Am definitely looking forward to the next book.

honestly i’m so surprised this book hasn’t got more hype!!! i loved it from start to finish, the slow burn, the found family, THE TENSION. everything about it was so enjoyable to read and i cannot wait to see gabriel and margots journey in book 2💞💞

I really enjoyed this. Only comments - a lot happened and a lot didn’t at the same time. The romance was hot, for me more plot and more exploration with the side characters would be ace
