Just devoured Viridian Vault by Lexi Gray and I’m officially obsessed. 🔥 This sequel takes everything from Crimson Catacombs and turns the intensity way up—more secrets, more shadows, more heat. Irene is the kind of messy, magnetic main character I love, and watching her fight her demons (both real and emotional) had me hooked. Lexi’s writing? Cinematic and darkly beautiful—every page feels like a spell. 🖤

The slow-burn romance? Chef’s kiss. 💋 The tension, the betrayal, the longing—it’s so emotionally charged. Plus, the worldbuilding just keeps getting richer and more twisted. Our FMC Irene is rescued from a trafficking ring and finds her home at the club, helping with one of their agencies who deal with the rescued children. She ends up in a relationship with three of the MCs.

Honestly, this one was a real quick novella. For me it lacked any depth, the story didn’t flow at all, it stuttered at best. It just all seemed very rushed without any context, lack of back stories and no build up to their relationship, it just happened 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book takes off right away, grips you around the throat tightly, and does not let go until the end. But I am a ride or die for the Blood Reapers. Now I’m extremely mad that I didn’t get the chance to read Crimson Catacombs before this one, as it’s the first book in the series. But the overall composition, the progression of the pacing made it easy to follow along, even through the time jumps from the present to the past was piece together in the plot. And the spice was 🔥🔥🔥

From the moment we are introduced to her during her lowest time to the more she grows as an individual growing up, her characteristics are given more depth as she is welcomed to the club. Matteo and Globe are from the IT department who have this sort of insta-love with her but her true emotional ties were always for Nero. Especially after she assumes the worst has happened to him. But the spice is heavy. The connections are built. I would like to know how much closer they can become.

Now, I am going back to the start and going to catch up on Crimson Catacombs so I can be ready for the next book in the series because I know there’s more story to tell.

Picking up after Crimson Catacombs, this sequel comes in swinging…..with teeth, claws, and an emotionally constipated love interest or two. Irene is back and more feral than ever, and I love that for her. She’s cunning, reckless, emotionally unavailable (relatable), and will absolutely stab first and sort it out later. Honestly, she might be my patronus. The Blood Reapers? Still unhinged. Still terrifying. Still absolutely the hottest walking red flags I’ve ever been gleefully led astray by.

The world building continues to be absurdly extra in the best way possible. It is lush, vivid, and dripping in danger. Lexi paints with a palette of venomous greens and shadowy corners, where every leaf might be sentient and every man might ruin your life (and you'd thank him for the privilege). There were moments where I paused mid page just to ask myself: Why is everything so sexy and so stabby? No answers. Just pure vibes.

That said, it's not perfect. Some plot threads wandered a little like lost fae in a moonlit glade, and the pacing occasionally dipped just when I was ready to throw myself headfirst into another blood pact. And yes, some of the tropes…….mysterious brooding man with tragic backstory, anyone? felt a tad familiar. But let’s be honest, I eat those tropes like they’re gourmet. Predictable? Maybe. Do I care? Not even slightly. Feed me more.

In conclusion: Viridian Vault is like being kissed and threatened at the same time, which frankly is my preferred literary experience. Four stars because I loved it, screamed at it, maybe wanted to fight a few characters, and absolutely will be pre ordering the next book with the frantic energy of a girl who knows better but doesn’t care. Send help. Or don’t. I like it here.

Irene, rescued by the Blood Reapers, now works at their foundation helping these children. She soon captures the attention of Globe and Matteo from the IT department. Their connection accelerates rapidly, and with the addition of Nero, their unique trio completes an "all or nothing" romance that quickly goes from fast to blazing. The book certainly promises exciting developments for the Blood Reapers, leaving readers eager for Ms. Gray’s next installment.

That said, while this is a very quick novella, some readers might find that the story, especially the relationships, lacks the desired depth. The narrative flow can feel a bit disjointed, with plot points and relationship progressions appearing quite suddenly. This rapid pacing might not provide enough context or character backstory for those who prefer a more gradual build-up and a deeper exploration of the connections.

Irene has been livin with evil since she was four years now, and now it's time to get her sold, but Haze and some of the others from the Blood Reapers Motorcycle Club comes and rescues the girls and Irene. Irene has worked at the rescue center compound as the head of social work for the Ride4Kidz Foundation for 12 years alongside other girls to help out others like the Blood Reapers helped her. Matteo is the tech guy he has been with the Reapers for 3 years now, and Irene likes him, and he likes her and Globe the other tech guy. Plus, she likes Nero he is the mechanic for the Reapers. Irene still doesn't trust people cause all the trauma she went throu, but one by one, her men are helpin her throu it all. I love the characters backstories and Irene and her 3 men. Irene is a baddie she wants revenge, and hopefully, she's able to get it. This is a very good novella, and I need the next one to this series ASAP.

As you can see, I rated this a 3 star. And that's being generous at that. I've loved all of Lexi Gray's books, but this one fell way way short. I felt like this book was all over the place. Nothing made sense from chapter to chapter. The story didn't roll together, it wasnt smooth. I had to even reread some pages because I felt like I was missing something. It almost feels like there are parts missing, like full pages almost. The plot wasn't really there either. I mean, i get what the book is supposed to be for. But besides the beginning, that wasn't a big part of the story. There were some spicy scenes which were decent. The bl00d play was very graphic but decent even though it kinda came out of nowhere.

This book fell short and compared to the others in this universe. This one wasn't what I was hoping it would be. Don't judge this universe based on this book, though. The rest of them have been really, really good. And who knows, maybe you will think this is an amazing book.

I absolutely love the storyline and how the characters are portrayed!

The story is dark but it portrayed really well and I absolutely loved it!

Irene has has a hard past but she gets what she deserves, payback.

Let me start off with saying that if you have triggers check your trigger warnings before consuming this book. It talks about some pretty heavy and sensitive topics. This was a gritty and original motorcycle romance. It is plot heavy with a little bit of spice thrown in. The author did a fantastic job with the world building for this series. She leaves you wanting more and needing to see where the series is going to go. I love that our girl Irena is a baddie. She might have survived hades but she holds her own. The guys are so supportive of her but also cautious with her. They empower her and stand up for her and by her side. If your looking for a short but plot heavy, why choose motorcycle romance this is the book for you.

It came in swinging from page one and did not let up. I was hooked immediately. The vibe is super dark, gritty, and intense in the best way and the world just pulls you in. It’s got that perfect mix of chaos and purpose, like everything's falling apart but also coming together at the same time.

Irene? She’s that girl. She’s been through it, but instead of folding, she steps up and owns her space. There’s so much growth in her.

And the guys? Ooo whew. There’s a lot going on there. A couple of them were obsessed from the jump, but one of them really had that deep type of bond with her that hits different.

The whole thing was just vibes and loved the dark emotional ride that was given.

This book gives readers a deep view of the Blood Reapers and what they do. Though these men crave blood, they take down child trafficking rings. Irene was someone that they rescued and has been working at the foundation to help the kids they find. Either place them back with their parents or they stay with the MC. No kid will be left behind. I mean, you have to let your hang-ups of their extracurricular activities go when you find out all they do. Globe and Matteo work in the IT department. There is something about Irene that draws them to her. Things are happening fast. When they realize that they might not get a chance to show Irene how they feel about her, things go from fast to blazing. Why not add another person to the mix? In walks Nero to complete this group. It is all or nothing with this group. Some exciting things are happening with the Blood Reapers. I can't wait to see what Ms. Gray cooks up next.

The second book is a little shorter but is no less fantastic. We have Irene who has been through some really rough times growing up. There were times I feel that we really do not get enough information on what is going on. There is also a lack of learning more about the characters and the depth of their relationships. The story is interesting and it definitely pulls you in, but, I wish that it was a bit more expanded throughout the story. The story is well written and leans to insta-love type story. I love how we see Irene in the light that she grew from her experiences. It is a really intriguing story that will keep your attention drawn to it.

This is my first book by Lexi Gray and I feel like I missed something. Like half the story. Don't get me wrong I LOVE shorter reads, actually that's what I mainly read. So, I expect things to move fast and the not so important things that make a slow burn a slow burn, are glossed over or not mentioned. However I feel that this book would've benefited from slowing down just a touch. I want to know more about each of the characters and the interplay between them all and I would have liked a bit more spice. The blood play was different and not something that I've read about previously. Saying all of that I am excited, now that I've found Lexi, to see what the 3rd book is going to be.

Wheeeeew this book was spiccccyyyy!!! It was fast paced, a quick read, and fantastic. There are some sensitive subjects, so definitely check all triggers.

Irene is rescued from trafficking and has a new family who has chosen her and loves her. She is now with one of the agencies who helps with the children who are rescued.

Now her men who become complete head over heels for her and primal…Globe, Nero and Matteo. After Irene is hurt they can’t hold back anymore, she is theirs and they will all claim one another. They all feel the pull and connection between the four of them. And when they finally get together, holy heck it was hot and spicy!

Lexi Grays books are wild reads!! Hands down one of my favourite authors. Her books are always taking you on a beautiful, dark, raw, real , intense adventure. And this book wasn't any different, I loved reading every single minute of it.


Once you start you can never put it down, your captivated from start to finish. It's action packed , got great characters, storyline and plot. You will be taking on a wild rollercoaster ride with twists and turns that leave you on the edge of you seat and heart racing.

If you haven't read any of her books. I suggest you grabbed them up now, I highly recommend.

Present she comes face to face with the guys while getting her computer problems fixed for helping with her agency in identifying and helping victims, as well as, her car checked. Are these four meant for each other or will her past prevent her from having a relationship for need to be in control and strong? Very good read and I’m interested to see what else there is to read!

This book was not what I was expecting. It started off good but then it just got confusing. Irene ended up being asleep for 3 days and we didn't even know at first. The book just felt really rushed and I get that it's a short book but still. I just don't understand how she wanted to stay away from the guys at first and then she woke up 3 days later and suddenly changed her mind. Overall, it was just a confusing book and felt really rushed.

I enjoyed this book. While the storyline moved a bit too quickly in places, the overall story didn’t suffer too much for it. A lot of things had to happen in a very short number of pages. I would have liked to see a bit more character backstory/development for the guys. It was amusing to see these large, rough guys getting hit with instalove. I look forward to see more of this group in the next book as the story continues to unfold.

This was a super quick read that helped to give a better explanation of the other side of the coin! We get to see Irene who was rescued from a trafficking ring and her place in this world! Seeing the story progress and helping us to better understand how the kids the men save are taken care of was wonderful!

I truly enjoyed reading this one! Fast paced and a quick read, be ready to dive head first into the deep end!

A very exciting read. This was another new author for me and I was excited to read it, an MC romance where she doesn’t have to choose sign me up lol. It has lots of potential and I liked the guys, Irene took a bit to grow on me but I don’t know why. She went through hell and the guys are what she needed just like she’s what they all need. There was a few spots in the story where I’d be reading one thing and the next paragraph was something else and I didn’t understand what happened.

Dark, Delicious MC Read!

Loving this Biker world! This is a dark read. If you have TWs please check before delving in as this is a dark series. It’s also the second book of the Blood Reapers and is just as engulphing and quick paced as the first. These men are dangerous, brutal and delicious! They loved their woman fast and hard and she was equally as devoted to them. I can’t wait to see what next is brought to us from this world!

Ok so I liked this book however I kinda felt like it was all over the place at times. One min the main characters are eyeing each other and wanting to hook up then the next they are in bed together. I also feel like it ended so suddenly and without even finishing the story. What happens to Mila and Irene and the sex trafficker Kastiloff? Am I missing something third book? I would have given it more stars but the way it ended made me feel very let down.

Viridian Vault is Blood Reaper's MC book 2 and is a fast-paced, short, insta love (sort of) read. There was a lot that needed to happen within these pages and for the most part it did, but I felt like I needed more insight into the characters and their building relationship. I enjoyed the book nonetheless and hope there's more for the Blood Reaper's.

This book was short & spicy! I'm a sucker for motorcycle club books and I absolutely love these men. I love everything they stand for and represent, not to mention they are totally swoon-worthy. This one was a very fast paced read, parts of which kind of came off a little too fast, but the story was still there. Irene's life has been in turmoil and rough, but those men truly know how to bring her back from that.

The spice was spicing that's for sure. I mean, at the new house? Woah! That was incredible! While I am not into blood play, it was still so good!
