Oliver Banks and Detective Langham have murder cases to solve…with the help of the talking dead…
Faking by Sarah Masters
Book Five in the Voices series
Oliver and Langham take a much needed break to get away from crime—but it follows them, ensuring they’re pulled into another murder case.
Oliver and Langham take two weeks off so they can rest after a string of murder cases has left them worn out. On the way to their destination, Langham spots two criminals driving in the same remote area. Known for being hitmen, surely they can only be on a job. Unable to quell his hunch, Langham is further on edge after their arrival at a small village pub where they’re staying. There’s something about the place—and the woman who runs it.
A mile or so away, a hitman, Jackson, is readying himself to kill a killer who is coming after his millionaire client Randall. Jackson has an immediate attraction to Randall, and the pair discover more about one another in one evening than Jackson’s revealed to anyone in a long time.
Lorie runs the pub where Oliver and Langham are staying. Colin is the butler at Randall’s mansion. How will their actions impact on Oliver, Langham, Jackson and Randall? Murder. It’s everywhere…
Sarah Masters About the Sarah Masters is a multi-published author in three pen names writing several genres. She lives with her husband, children, and three cats in an English village. She writes full time and is also a cover artist and blog designer. In another life she was an editor. Her other pen names are Natalie Dae and Charley Oweson.
Sarah is busy co-authoring with Jaime Samms. They have several books in mind so will be writing for a couple of years to come! She also needs to finish her M/M novel, the tale she's dubbed The Book That Doesn't Want To End. She's at the last chapter but is afraid to open it in case that last chapter isn't really the last chapter…
Sarah Masters is one of three pen names I write under. Sarah mainly writes m/m. Natalie Dae writes het erotica, while the third, Charley Oweson, writes thriller/horror/suspense books with no sex.
Faking by Sarah Masters Book Five in the Voices Series OOhh I liked this one! Oliver and Langham try to take a much needed vacation but where ever they go there are ALWAYS going to be voices in Oliver’s head. This poor guy can’t even catch a break for 5 minutes. I like how Sarah practically has two stories in one book. Of course we have Oliver and Langham then we have Randall and Jackson. Jackson is a hitman hired to protect Randall from assassins trying to kill him for major project he is working on. What Jackson didn’t plan on was the electricity coming off of Randall. Holy Cow this isn’t good. The story goes back and forth between the two couples but you know eventually they will come together but I am not telling you how. You will just have to tread it for yourself. This was another great story by Sarah. I received this book as a gift from the author.
