BOOK 1: GOLDFISH BOWL
In downtown Vancouver, a sniper is targeting people in the streets. The killings have clearly been planned, the targets carefully chosen. It’s a huge first case for new partners Jack Willows and Claire Parker — especially when a fellow cop becomes the next victim. As the investigation continues, the sniper remains one step ahead. The killer always knows when to strike and Willows and Parker must act fast to crack the case.

BOOK 2: DEATH ON A NO. 8 HOOK
Detective Willows is on holiday when he comes across the body of a girl in the mountains. At the same time, Parker finds the mutilated body of a boy in a park. One thing connects the two cases — the same tattoo on their inside forearm. The hunt is on for the detectives to find the killer before more bodies start piling up.

BOOK 3: HOT SHOTS
An eighty-million-dollar shipment of heroin is lost in the waters of the English Bay, and narcotics king Gary Silk will kill to get it back. A failed businessman stumbles upon the missing drugs and thinks he can recoup his fortunes with some illicit dealings. Willows and Parker are drawn into the world of narcotics as they investigate an abandoned blood-stained car. But this case will put their new partnership to the test when they come face-to-face with drug lords and police corruption.

BOOK 4: SERIOUS CRIMES
In Vancouver’s Chinatown, the body of Kenny Lee is found encased in ice, sitting in the cross-legged Lotus position. Such a prominent figure of the community, posed in such a manner, sparks outrage. Willows and Parker are determined to find the killer. But can they solve the mystery before the leads run dry?

BOOK 5: ACCIDENTAL DEATHS
A young woman is shot dead. Her boyfriend is the only witness and he refuses to cooperate. Then he is found tortured and murdered. Willows and Parker are on the case, hoping to prevent the next hit. But unbeknown to them, the next hit might be Parker . . .

BOOK 6: FALL DOWN EASY
On the streets of Vancouver, a man holds up a series of banks, shoots another man and steals his briefcase, then disappears. Willows and Parker are on the trail, but they have their work cut out. The bank robber is ruthless and a master of disguise. Can they track him down, or will he get away for good?

BOOK 7: KILLERS
In Vancouver Public Aquarium, Dr Gerard Roth’s body is found floating in the killer whale tank. He loved swimming in the tanks with the animals, but there are signs he was killed by human hands. Can Willows and Parker bring the cold-blooded killer to the surface?

A mixture of brilliance & puzzlement

Remarkably detailed description of scenes & happenings . Could lead to another 2 box sets , with Willows & Parker continuing as cops , then retiring & becoming top class , expert private detectives , assisted by informers from outside & inside the police
departments . More wanted, please !

In the begining, I honestly did not really enjoy the first book and was reluctant to continue reading the next one, and took a long time to start again, but things improved with each following book, the last one being the exception, where I think the author seemed to run out of ideas, but still in the whole they were a decent read.

Sudden Stop!

The series was very interesting and explored the characters very well but I was most disappointed in the abrupt endings. They all left me thinking, "What the...?"
