And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
Colonel Silas Ford has everything he could a beautiful wife, a successful career as a fighter pilot, and a contented life. But his world is about to come crashing down.
When failing eyesight grounds him, Silas is reassigned to the Pentagon’s enigmatic All-Domain Anomalies Resolution Office, tasked with investigating Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAP. As a seasoned pilot, Silas has encountered aircraft that defy modern technology and the laws of physics, transforming his skepticism into a reluctant belief in extraterrestrial life. Yet, nothing could prepare him for the revelations awaiting him at AARO.
Meanwhile, tech magnate Antiochus Frost is leading in the polls for the upcoming US presidential election. His sweeping reforms promise to rescue America from economic collapse, and his peace treaty in the Middle East positions him for a likely landslide victory. But peace threatens the interests of powerful adversaries, and Frost is assassinated by a sniper’s bullet, plunging America into a second civil war.
Amidst the turmoil, the largest mass UAP sighting in recent history occurs over the Capitol Building, where Frost's body lies in state. Silas is called to investigate, but the sighting only deepens the mystery. Who are these visitors? Why have they arrived? And can they halt the escalating violence tearing America apart?

As with all works by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this book might not be for you.
Mark Goodwin is a Christian author and host of the popular Prepper Recon Podcast which interviews patriots, preppers and economists to help people prepare for the uncertain times ahead. His previous fiction series, The Days of Noah spent several months at number one on the Amazon best-sellers list in multiple categories. His first series, The Economic Collapse Chronicles, also hit the Amazon best-sellers list in several categories.
Great start to a Series that I know I will love. The connection of Gods and the extraterrestrial was surprising but great. This book contains heartbreak, good vs. evil and the blurry line between them, and deception along with most other emotions or feelings. The apocalypse is upon America and this is a great start to what I can only imagine to be a story of survival mixed with love, loss, and more heartbreak.
Mr Goodwin’s books are thought provoking and probably downright scary, if you aren’t a child of the Most High GOD! Silas is like a lot of people today who rests his problems in a bottle of alcohol, drugs, anger and even sex. I grew up in this type of Avril and relate to her way of thinking. The women & men in these books are never average people though. They are high paying educated and smarter than the average Joe or Julie! I could never make it in apocalyptic times so if there isn’t a pre-tribulation let me be one of the first to leave this world and go on to heaven! Mr Goodwin’s books are fabulous reads and lock you in immediately. I think this is my 5th series that I’m on…..I can’t put them down!
Silas, a fighter pilot for many years has lost his wings due to macular regeneration. He is offered a new position dealing with UFO sightings but it requires moving to DC. His wife owns a business in Phoenix and doesn't want to move. Natalie knows how to surprise her husband big time. Meanwhile the president elect is shot in the head and a pyramid shape UFO appears over the Capitol Building large enough to cover the whole thing. Because of the president elects heritage close to a civil war breaks out and the Tribulation has started. Great job. Thank you. On to book 2.
I literally could not put this book down! It ended too soon. Now I must wait for Book 2. I have read all of Mark Goodwin's books. This one is so different from his others. It is definitely a new twist on the end times. I'm liking this plot a lot. The characters have real issues. The timeline is different from most end times stories, but I'm open to new theories to ponder. I think it is why I couldn't put it down!
A U.S. Military Pilot loses his wings when his vision deteriorates. His wife destroys their marriage. Unjustly accused of a crime, he travels to Washington D.C. believing things can't get worse. From his new posting in a Top Secret Government Agency, he has a front seat to the Major upheaval of the United States. I enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to the next one.
I really enjoyed the them the book. It was basically a reading ripped right out of today’s headlines. Replaced a few names , add a few events and there you have it. But this is really something everyone needs to understand. Things are about to change. Whether it is for the better or worse I don’t know. But I do know that things will change.
I recently discovered Mark Goodwin. It started with the days of Noah. I have been through several of his series of books I am now getting ready to go into the second book of kingdom come. I can hardly wait to get it started and I can hardly put them down while I’m reading them.
Behold a White Horse isn’t your average end-times shootout — it’s prophecy meets preparedness with a twist of realism. Mark Goodwin gives the apocalypse a soul, blending scripture and survival in a way that feels both unsettling and hopeful. A different kind of doomsday story — one that makes you think while it keeps you turning pages. Looking forward to Book 2!
I am thankful for writer's like Mark Goodwin. Mr. Goodwin can tell a story and integrate biblical prophecy clearly for understanding. I enjoyed this storyline and looking forward to reading book two.
Rounding down to 3.75 stars. When I was younger, I read a lot of Christain fiction and I was a huge fan of the Left Behind books. I’ve been wanting to read some more books similar lately and came across this one. This book also mixes in another one of my favorite topics right now which is UAPs and NHIs/NHEs, so I was super curious to see how this goes. The subject matter of the end times and the UAP stuff and the overall plot was pretty intriguing. I really enjoyed this book, but it’s definitely a mess. The writing is not all that strong. Really strange character developments and cringey dialogue at points. But I’d be lying if said I wasn’t interested, because it definitely hooks you. Very curious to see where it goes and how the author works in the interpretation of the end times with UAPs.
I enjoyed this audiobook, but kept thinking I'd like to have a list of the scriptures that are referenced at the beginning of each chapter and elsewhere, guess the regular book would've been helpful for that. The narrator's voice was good, but it's always a challenge for a man to pull off a woman's voice and intonations. That's a rather picky criticism though, because overall, he did a great job.
The best thing about this book is the updated nature of it and how I can see it happening now or in the near future -- the signs of end times were relatable. The characters were believable.
Behold a White Horse: Yet another book on the “end of days” by Mark Goodwin. I have read a few books by this author so, I wasn’t that surprised when this books story went in the direction that it did. This book is part of a series that looks like it has two books in it. If the second book is released on Audible, I will most likely read it, just to see how he will make this one end and because the people in this book end up settling in a part of W. North Carolina that is very close to the place I love.
I’ll start this review by saying that I’m a HUGE fan of Mark Goodwin’s work; I think I’ve read all of his books. I was excited to start this one, but the excitement diminished after the first 5-6 chapters. Normally Mr Goodwin is excellent at weaving plot, characters, etc, but this book left something to be desired. There was too much focus on the NHE’s for my taste. Hopefully the next book in the series will be a little better.
Goodwin once again comes through with what looks to be another great end times series. This one goes a little bit into the weeds with extraterrestrial life forms and end times prophecy. It felt rushed and a bit on the unedited side. The storyline went from crazy to far fetched in the blink of an eye. Still Goodwin's attention to detail and writing style always keeps things interesting. Looking forward to the next book.
MAGIC.. Mindset, Ask, Goals, Imagination, Care…. Of what we don’t know i prefer to bring some magic to life.. but reading what could come re/inforce to me that I need to bring Magic to life around me. Really enjoyed the reading again… looking forward whats coming.
well written, but you are virtually required to buy the sequel
I liked the. Story, and the characters, who are more three dimensional than most in apocalyptic novels. But, there is no resolution of any of the story lines, nor was the end a logical stopping point. Perhaps i’ll leave a better review after reading the next one ……
A look at the possible realities as foretold by many of the religious scriptures. The political and emotional realities of the situation are explored very realistically and the characters are very likeable and real to the reader....I will be continuing on with this series. Strong 4.5+ read.
Amazing end times book. I enjoy the characters and the plot of all of Mr. Goodwin's books. Scripture is always included in all of his books. Now on to Rider On A Pale Horse... book 2.
The story grips you right from the start. With the end times events foretold in the Bible, this could be very believable. Political unrest ensues after certain events threaten America and affect the whole world.
I really liked the new premise in this book. Silas was easy to relate to. I like the character development he has in this book. Anxious to read book 2!
