Chrysandra & Starroc

On the first day of summer, Chrysandra comes home to terrible news. Her father, a colonel in the Celevahni army, was captured by the Terredorian Empire. The Terredorians are known to be ruthless to their prisoners. And with no hope of rescue, she fears Father may never make it home alive.
But in her darkest moment, Chrysandra is reunited with a long-lost friend, Starroc the dragon. When he learns of her plight, Starroc suggests a simple (yet impossible) solution: Chrysandra should go to Terredor to rescue Father herself. Of course, Starroc offers to go with her. Anything is possible with a dragon's help, right? While Chrysandra may be ill-prepared for such a journey, she has to try all the same. After all, if no one else will rescue Father, then she and Starroc will.
