Time is running out.

Leon Alcantara and Max Drake are finding help in the most unlikely of places. A third dragon has manifested, promising Leon untold elemental power. Another specter from Max’s past returns to haunt him, presenting a tempting offer.

But everything comes with a price.

Perhaps the risk is worth the reward. More anomalies are erupting across Dos Lunas. The boys need all the help they can get against the rogue time mage responsible. The Quartz Spider has finally shown his hand, and only Max and Leon can stop him.

But how can they stop the enemy when the enemy is time itself?

Hi, I'm Nazri, a Filipino-Malaysian author based in California. I’m trilingual, but I really only write in English. I can also speak just enough Sindarin and Valyrian to impress absolutely no one. My urban fantasy novels focus on realistic heroes who use wits, style, and their wildly unpredictable magic to (try) and save the day. Think sass and class, while kicking ass.

My influences come from horror and fantasy: HP Lovecraft, Anne Rice, George R.R. Martin, Chuck Palahniuk, Terry Pratchett, and Neil Gaiman. Growing up I was shaped by the Blood Sword, Fighting Fantasy, Lone Wolf, and Grey Star game book universes. I'm also inspired by video games, specifically the Castlevania, Final Fantasy, and Persona series.

TL;DR: I'm a huge nerd. And yes, that's my real hair. I try to donate it to the American Cancer Society as often as I can. Also, have you heard? You can get a free book at www.NazriNoor.com.

All Out of Flux is the 3rd and final book in the Stolen Heart series. This is not a standalone story, it should be read in series order as in contains a continuing story arc. We are back with Leon and Max as they are off to find another item for the Jade Spider. Leon also introduced to a new stronger dragon. I love the characters in this series Nazri Noor really makes them come to life on the page. I loved all the action and drama Nazri put into the series. I think this was the best book and a great way to end this series. I am really looking forward to seeing where Nazri Noor goes with his next book. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Really sad this is over. I love all of Nazri’s written adventures in the Arcane Underground and I particularly love Max and Leon and their relationship.

Narration for this on audio is absolutely perfect - John Solo remains one of my top narrators.

Once again, I did not care for any of it. I didn't hate it but I was totally indiferrent to it!
At the end of the day, I don't see the point of this series and what it brings to the Arcane Underground Universe. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the two others spicy series in that universe: Arcane Hearts with the Black Market and its guilds, and Wild Hearts with the wonders of the Wispwood and the Verdance.

Thanks Gods though, this trilogy was spicy and had "X' in the book titiles so I can count them in my Spicy Gay AZ Challenge.

While there were many enjoyable scenes with the MC's, this particular story felt like a rush to get to an ending. To me it just didn't have the same impact as the first two books in this series. Was still a fun series!

I read these books one after the other so I'll discuss them broadly in a sense and on some elements of the specifics;

This series had some amount of potential. It got some good chuckles out of me and I had a nice time reading them, up until this final installment. I think I can safely say these books suffered from an issue of both scope and size; Where we should have had every element given time to breath and be explored (such as Leon and the Dragons) or Max and his Family. Where, at the end of the day, these elements felt largely superficial - Leon's dragons didn't have much motivation or anything interesting going on, they were simply just there to be used in one or two situations.

Max's family were a backdrop that done nothing really either, sure they presented "some" adversity, but weren't really anything worth thinking about because their involvement also felt superficial.

My biggest disappointment with this book was the Masque; Where in the other books he felt like a nominally neutral entity, maybe a bit antagonistic but never outwardly aggressive but then BAM! All of a sudden at the end, he's attacking the main characters because he views Leon's dragons as a credible threat.

It felt... Unneeded, it felt like it existed just to serve getting this plot point done with.

I'm not great at reviews, I apologize it's hard to articulate why this book felt sorta flat for me. The plot served no purpose, there wasn't a whole lot of interesting mystery and everything was just sorta dealt with, no real build up or threat that felt palpable. I think this book series was harmed by its poor length, maybe if it was double the pages we could've got some build-up to Dos Lunas feeling like a living place instead of just a series of back-drops the character say dialogue in.

exciting and imaginative finale

Rating : 4.5🌈

All Out of Flux is the final book in Nazri Noor’s Stolen Hearts trilogy. In this story, brujo witch Leon Alcantara and mage Max Drake are still in pursuit of the Quartz Spider , a time mage who threatens existence itself.

Noor’s narrative has been building up to this, including the amazing sea dragons that inhabit Leon for a spell in exchange for powerful magic. This element expands as another dragon is introduced and a scary scenario is unveiled for their appearance.

This is a fast paced, action packed book, where if you skip a sentence or two, you’ve missed an important step or aspect of the game that’s playing out in the narrative.

I find the entire Las Lunas universe endlessly imaginative. The spider beings, from the Jade and Amethyst Spiders to the very Queen herself, this is such a uniquely fascinating element that I love and could wish for additional exploration.

And also there’s Max’s criminal, entertaining, persistent family to dive into as well. Tons of characters waiting for their own input into Max and Leon’s lives and further adventures.

That final battle and scenes left me with some major issues but it was most definitely dramatic and memorable. Did I have several questions about how it was possible and why it was happening in the first place? Yes. Did know one know about the Masque? However, everything is satisfactory and maybe any further series will bring answers for us. You never know.

If you love fantasy fiction, magical stories, here’s a trilogy you won’t want to miss.

This is book 3 in the series and they must be read in order. In this book they are tasked in finding a statuette for the Jade Spider. Tiamat also introduces Leon to another dragon who is the most powerful of them all. As they try to figure out where it is, we also meet Max’s uncle who is an antique dealer. As they race against time with a chronomancer, they need to figure out what is going on. I loved this series and sad that it is the end. Love this author’s works and looking forward to reading more.

All Out of Flux is the third book in Nazri Noor's Stolen Hearts series. Leon Alcantara and Max Drake have a new dragon to deal with, more family interference and a rouge mage with time magic. Lots of action. Lots of fun reading. Leon and Max fit so well together, unlikely as it seemed long ago in book one. This may be the last book in the series, so sorry to say. I could read their adventures all day.
I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.

Max and Leon were incredible in this story! There were a lot of twists and turns that literally blew me away! Nazri Noor can certainly write a story that keeps you on your toes and I loved every minute of it! I hope to see more books in the Las Lunas universe!! Highly Recommended

Sad to see it's the end

Leon and Maz are back and once again smack dab in the middle of trouble.
This time we're dealing with a new dragon, trying to find whoever's messing with time and all kinds of familial troubles.
There's lots of fast-paced action, danger, drama and plenty of twists and turns to keep you intrigued.

Mysteries revealed

The mystery around the Quartz Spiders plans is reveled, the Maques that’s been bothering Leon and Max shows his hand, and the dragons that were supposedly helping Leon showed to have lied.

The guys saved the day, and end their story with showing how much they mean to each other.

I loved it, though I’m sad this is Leon and Max’s last book.

All Out of Flux (Stolen Hearts Book 3) by Nazri Noor continues the adventures of Leon Alcantara and Max Drake.
Now there is a third dragon and a rogue time mage. What can possibly go wrong?
This is a well written, fun adventure!

The last part of the trilogy felt not well prepared because there just wasn't enough in the previous books to make it a good finale. it doesn't help that it was so short the story did not have much time to breathe and come into its own

For a three part series to have such a solid build up, development and conclusion that really feels planed out and earned this series really nails it. Leon and Max finally work out where all the threads and clues have been leading with a great set up for a solid ending
