Nobody really knows who they are; it's a lifelong quest. People spend their whole lives figuring out where they fit, and Tessa Shaw is no exception. Through the chaos of life, she navigates the trials of growing up; hurting, healing, loving, grieving, reuniting, parting, and putting herself back together again when she breaks. Her resilience is tested, yet one constant remains through it all — Taylor Lewis. At fifteen, Tessa Shaw was just another girl trying to survive high school whilst nursing a broken heart, with help from her next-door neighbour, Taylor. By eighteen she's stepping out into the world. At twenty she endures heartbreak like she never anticipated. At twenty two she's finally healing, only to find old wounds painfully splitting open by twenty-four. Embracing the highs and the lows, her experiences carve a path to self-discovery. Every scar earned is a testament to her, and the journey of understanding who she truly is, and of the love she's shared. The first of a heartfelt two-part coming-of-age, and beyond, story, Timeless is about the experiences and enduring bonds that shape our lives. Follow Tessa's journey as she learns that some connections are unbreakable, even when life spirals out of control. We’re going to be doing this one era at a time. Are you ready?

"You've always been something. You've always been someone. But if you still don t feel like the right person, you have time to figure it out."
As a Swiftie and a romance reader, I LOVED this book so freaking much. It has everything that you could want in a romance book. A relatable main character in Tessa as she navigates her teen years and early 20s. A swoon worthy best friend/lover in the form of Taylor who.. I'm just gonna say it is up there with Dexter Mayhew and Theo Silva in terms of book boyfriends...
It has so many cute moments, it made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me gasp, it made me tear up. This book honestly has so much heart that it's healing for any girl to read.
Also the Taylor Swift references gave me LIFE, I was annotating my book every time I saw references (you should see my copy of chapter 12 🙈). I cannot wait for Tessa to enter her Reputation era because that is gonna be a RIDE - in the best way!!
I truly can't recommend this enough if you're a romance reader...if you're a Swiftie...or if you're both like me...
Such a fun, cosy blanket of a read that I know I'll be reaching for again before long
I was lucky enough to read this book before release, My usual preference is thriller/fantasy and not normally a fan of romance books, but as a huge swiftie I had to read this!
I finished the book in less that 12 hours 🙈 Reading ‘15 ‘ I was unsure how well I’d read, I loved the quotes at the start of each chapter and the hidden Easter eggs but I was worried it would be too YA for me. But moving on to 18 the development in the book was so good and by chapter 9 I was hooked and couldn’t put it down! I got nothing done in my house yesterday 😂
To me this is such a comfort book o really enjoyed reading and found myself frustrated at the end, I wanted to know more! Can honestly say this is the first romance type book I’ve enjoyed in a long time. Can’t wait for book 2!
Such an easy read. Loved all the Taylor Swift references throughout the book. The only reason I did not give this book a 5 star review is because at times Tessa irked the crap out of me. I know she has her issues and that’s totally fine but girl.. just work on yourself, by yourself for yourself. No need to get into a new relationship every time. I love love love Taylor but very excited to see where things will be going for Tessa and Calvin. If you ever find yourself in a reading slump this book will probably drag you right back out.
Everything I wanted in a book especially with all of the Taylor Swift references! Love how the book started chronologically alongside Taylor’s album starting with debut up to 1989 in this book as the fmc grows as well. How Abi May incorporates her ideas and Taylor’s songs are so creative such as Our Song, Picture To Burn, All Too Well, You’re Losing Me, Style, It’s Nice to Have a Friend to name a few. If you are a swiftie then you would catch up on the references so quickly and it is so fun! I feel like this book is also perfect for people who like Sally Rooney’s writing style and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo in terms of how her life is when she moved to LA and how the media critiques female celebrities and how she uses that to her advantage. Very excited to read more about that in the second book.
Totally loved this book! The Taylor Swift references were super cool, and I usually don't dig third-person stories, but this one had me hooked. The characters are my new obsession. Such a fun read overall.
This book takes you on a journey I couldn’t put it down! If you’re looking for a coming of age story, with emotional highs and lows, and Taylor Swift references, this book is perfect for you!
T as in Timeless showcases what it is like to love and be loved, by the right person at the wrong time. Abi May does an amazing job of making us fall in love with 15 year old Tessa, complete with awkward interactions and teenager-like tendencies. Over time, we see Tessa grow and flourish into a woman, and along the way we are privy to all the things that make Tessa who she is. T as in Timeless makes you fall in love with Tessa and Taylor (the leading male character), while also being privy to their experiences, their love for one another, and loss that is felt. I would be lying if I said I didn’t have to wipe a few tears off my Kindle! T as in Timeless was a great read, and one that has left me (not so patiently) waiting for the release of the sequel in December 2023.
This is the first self published book I have read, and it has opened my eyes to a new world of reading. As someone who is always looking to support indie authors, T as in Timeless has shown me that I can read love-filled and awe-inspiring novels by purchasing self published books.
To sum up this review I leave you with these words…
What a fab book, started it on the Friday night, then hid and finished by Sunday night. An authentic and heartfelt story about the blossoming of a young girl. Following the ups and downs , the loves and losses. This is the first in a duology, so will definitely be buying the second one, need to see where Tessa's life takes her. The author's talented writing immediately allows you to picture the characters in your mind, something I find a non-negotiable . This says target audience 18 to 24 but i think anyone who has been a youngster in their lives ( which is everyone!!) Can identify with Tessa's journey . Loved it
4 but Tessa is still getting on my nerves now. love that she’s making mistakes and growing up messily, just worried about The Big Event before they get together for good. read in 24h, couldn’t put it down! gonna read the second one immediately. the media imagery and villainising of women will be verrrrry interestin, I hope. it’s giving Magnolia Parks with fangirl references throughout (which make it better than MP)
