Sage Wilder almost perished in her family’s house fire. While she was lucky to escape with her life, her father wasn’t. Authorities ruled the fire an accident, but for Sage and her older brother, Saxon, their gut feelings screamed murder. Due to their father's known status of being the leader of The Kings Aces, their family's local motorcycle club, Sage and Saxon knew the enemies their father acquired over the years. With the help of Saxon’s best friend, Saint, they secretly follow the clues in hopes of discovering Luther Wilder’s killer. But everyone’s keeping secrets, and Saint has been keeping one himself. This Secret involving his best friend’s little sister. Sage Wilder.
Fuck, I don’t know what was in this book, but it was literally addicting. I probably would’ve finished it in one sitting if I didn’t need sleep. This is a dark motorcycle romance with all the Sons of Anarchy vibes ( which is one of my favorite shows) if you guys are looking for something with that vibe, this will totally scratch that itch & some.
We have: brothers best friend/forbidden Romance found family (through the MC) A completely overprotective MMC (like tracker on her phone protective) Amazing side characters 10/10 spice And not only do we get Saint who is fictional man perfection, we get Saxons crazy unhinged ass. I’m praying he gets a book because he gives me all the Jax Teller vibes. (He’s the FMCS older brother and head of the MC club)
Sage and Saint have been in each other’s lives for a long time since Saint is Saxon’s best friend, and they have sort of a enemies to lovers relationship, but the banter is very playful and fun, and I really enjoyed that. The way this man made her feel so worthy and comfortable in her own skin made me fucking melt, he really knew how to cater to her and make her FEEL valued and loved, pair that with his filthy mouth and the “get near her and I’ll fucking destroy you”, I can’t even take it.
“I would do anything, kill anyone, be anything she wants me to be just so she will smile at me the way she is now”
This plot really was so fucking good, it gave me all that wild suspenseful, page turning where’s this thang going kind of story line and it was filled with betrayal, angst & tension some mystery and most importantly DRAMAAAA. I just loved following the MC around.
I am so fucking happy that this is going to be a series because give me more!!!!
I love motorcycle club books and this one was REALLY good ! I was sucked into the story and felt in love with Saint. His undying loyalty, love and protectiveness for Sage is EVERYTHING! We love the possessive ones right? The spice is good, the romance is good and the plot is good. Also what I loved about this book is that it made me interested in the other characters books that for sure are coming, specifically SAXON ! I can’t wait for his book 😍😍😍 Yep I will keep up with this series, unfortunately I’ll have to wait because that’s the only one out. 😭

"And I thank God every fucking day he left you on this earth because I wouldn’t want to be here if you weren’t here too."
♡A dark MC Romance packed with suspense, spice, & a brother's best friend trope...sign me TF up!! This book follows Saxon the head of the MC, Saint his right-hand man & best friend, and Sage, Saxon's little sister. Saxon & Saint are on the hunt to find the people responsible for turning their lives upside down all while trying to keep Sage in the dark. Secrets can only be kept for so long before they blow up!
The duet narration for this book was amazing! Lucy did a phenomenal job at bringing our sassy & stubborn FMC Sage to life! Ben is a new to me narrator & he did an amazing job bringing our broody, obsessive, & overprotective bikers Saint & Saxon to life!
If you like dark MC romances with sassy female characters & overprotective male characters with twists & turns that leave you needing more look no further!♡
I rated this book a 5 star but really contemplated rating it 4.5 stars… because I wanted more. Definitely more Saint & Saxon. The good news is we will be getting just that, Rebecca Hamby is turning this into a series!!! It’s not secret I’m a fan of The Shadows (The Darkness Trilogy) So I already had a preconceived notion that I would like this book, and I did. I adored Sage, her baddie yet sweet and naive self. Saint and his over protective, and obsessed self. Together they are a perfect match! I love the Alpha energy that he and his best friend (Sage’s brother) Saxon give off. Along with the whole MC Club crew. The characters keep you engaged in the book and you just want to know what happens next. There is sarcasm, angst, obsession, violence, jealousy, spice, and a lot of love in this book. Put your helmet on, and hold on tight for the journey you will embark on. I’ll be sitting at the Query waiting in book two. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🌶️🌶️🌶️
Are you serious? Gosh. 50% in and I started to wonder how this book could be so high rated. Took another look and well, alright. 10 ratings…
Sorry but what was this? A motorcycle club book? No. Sure, the MMC’s were in a club but did you ever get to hear anything about that other than that they “deleted” people just because they could? No. Were they driving motorcycles? Uhm, yeah, I counted to three times.
The MFC is a child. A pick me girl. She’s a tomboy and if I read “eyes fill with unshed tears” one more time so help me god! Also, not one time did they have sex without her begging for him. “Please” was all she ever said. “The sound of our skin slapping together filling the air around us” is written more times than I can count. Several times during the same scene. Allow me to barf in my hat!
The MMC is six years older than her and has had a thing for her since the first time he met her. When he was twelve. You do the math… He’s possessive, jealous and physically hurts her ex boyfriends if they so much as breathe a hurting comment her way.
Her brother treats her like a child, won’t let her wear whatever she wants or date whoever she wants.
It’s repetitive and too much. Not once did it give you a chance to figure things out for yourself. Many scenes in the book are also very detailed, too detailed and long for my taste. Enough. Okay, you’re at a bar with your “best friends” and you “laugh so much” with your “best friends”, pages and pages and pages describing this bar scene.
Also, I think Dante was very questionable. And Frankie was the worst. He wanted her dead for 7 years but couldn’t even bother to try and smother her in her sleep? 😂 (She’s also very tired all the time.)
And not to mention the MMC’s TAHOE! It’s not even a car, it’s a TAHOE!
(Sorry for the rant. I feel bad for the author. Please don’t read this. It was good sometimes. I think.)
I’m so done with this book. 🫠

Secrets Unveiled is book one in the King's Aces series and is the story of Sage and Saint. This is a brother's best friend, forbidden, motorcycle club romance.
On her fourteenth birthday, Sage almost perished in a fire that claimed the life of her father. The fire was ruled an accident but for Sage and her older brother, Saxson, they never believed that lie. Together, Saxon and Saint secretly follow the clues to discover who burned their house down and why. Now twenty-one, Sage still struggles with her birthday and all the things she lost.
Saint has always been a part of Sage's life but at some point his feelings went from brotherly to seeing Sage as the woman he wants more than anything. But she is his best friend's little sister and Saxon will never approve of them being together but Saint can't stop his desire for Sage.
I thoroughly enjoyed the writing of this story. There were a lot of twists and turns and some sweet secrets that were revealed. Rebecca wrote Saint with such a protective and caring nature for Sage but was also able to capture his brutality for anyone who dared to cross her or his club. Sage is a strong, fiery FMC who stands her ground when she needs to be is aware enough to let Sant and her brother fight the battles they need to. The spiciness was good and overall the story kept you captivated and not wanting to stop reading/listening.
Lucy Rivers and Ben Riley narrated the audiobook and I enjoyed their performances as Saint and Sage. Their natural cadences and inflections made for a good listening experience. I was sent this audiobook by High Gravity Productions and am leaving an honest review in exchange for the ALC.
I received this as an advance listener copy, and I really enjoyed the audiobook experience. The narrators were easy to listen to and did a great job pulling me into the story. I never once got the ick at the spicy parts which sometimes happens.
The book itself hooked me right from the start with the tragic fire and the mystery surrounding it. I mean I knew who it was right away 😍. The sibling bond between her and Saxon was super sweet (something I never experienced with my brother) and their loyalty to family came through in everything they did.
And then there’s Saint. The whole “best friend’s little sister” angle is always a favorite trope of mine, especially when he has the whole “touch her and ☠️ vibe). I was rooting for Sage and Saint the entire time. Some twists I saw coming but others definitely surprised me. I was a little disappointed with the epilogue. Just blurted out the question and that’s it (IYKYK).
Brother’s bestfriend It’s always been you Suspense MC romance
I really loved the suspense in this story. Add in the complete obsessed and over protective MMC and you have the best combination. Sage was such a bad ass and I loved watching her have Saint wrapped around her little finger. I will admit I was SHOCKED with the plot twist in this one. I loved it so much and I NEED Saxon to have a book
Okay, so this book is really good. I enjoyed this book so much. I love how the main male character has always been there even when she didn't remember and the best part is that he is a total, cinnamon roll for her. But he's touch her, and I end you to anybody else. He is also, brother's best friend. This does have some heavy points, a little bit twisted in parts. But it is a fantastic story. i don't know if it was the narrator or how the main male character was written, but he's so dead panned in the serious parts that it's kind of like that old British humor that's so deadpanned, that's what it reminds me of a little bit different of writing style for the male main character. But all in all it was a fantastic book, and the end quote that he tells her before the epilogue phenomenal, and you have to read the book to find out or listen to it when the audiobook comes out.
Loses my attention with how unnecessarily wordy her phrasing is Reminds me of the papers I wrote in high school requiring the length to be XX pages long so I added ridiculously unnecessary adjectives or phrases to boost the word count
“hear the faint ping of my cell phone, indicating I have a text message. Looking around the kitchen, I don’t see my phone until I realize I’d left it in his room. Shit. I quickly run back to his room and grab my phone off his nightstand before quickly running back out. As I turned the corner to enter the kitchen”
This was my very first book by Rebecca Hamby, and I have to say I’m impressed! For a debut, Secrets Unveiled feels polished, gripping, and full of energy. It reads almost like a movie: fast-paced, cinematic, and layered with family drama, danger, and romance. Dark MC romances can sometimes feel repetitive, but this one surprised me with its balance of gritty club politics, emotional stakes, and sizzling chemistry. I’m already eager for the next installment.
The duet narration was absolutely amazing. Lucy Rivers brought Sage to life with all her sass, stubbornness, and fiery spirit, while Ben Riley new to me did an outstanding job embodying the broody, obsessive, and overprotective bikers Saint and Saxon. Together, they elevated the story into a full experience. It wasn’t just a book I listened to; it was one I lived through.
The Story After barely surviving the house fire that killed her father, Sage Wilder refuses to believe it was just an accident. With her brother Saxon and his best friend Saint by her side, she begins digging into the truth, determined to uncover who is behind it. As secrets unravel and loyalties are tested, Sage finds herself entangled not only in danger but also in a forbidden attraction that could shatter everything she thought she knew.
What I Loved ✔️ Sage’s fiery personality she’s stubborn, sassy, and refuses to be sidelined. ✔️ The obsessive, protective energy of Saint and Saxon it’s dark but addictive. ✔️ The balance of grit and spice—just the right amount to keep the tension high without overshadowing the story. ✔️ The cinematic feel the pacing, the twists, the family and MC drama it all played out vividly in my head. ✔️ The promise of more this book sets the stage beautifully for what’s to come.
🎧 Narration Lucy Rivers and Ben Riley nailed this. Lucy embodied Sage’s strength and sass perfectly, while Ben gave depth and edge to Saint and Saxon. Their chemistry in duet narration made the relationships feel real and intense.
Tropes ✔️ Dark MC romance ✔️ Best friend’s little sister ✔️ Broody, obsessive, protective MMCs ✔️ Twists & secrets ✔️ Found family / loyalty dynamics ✔️ Action + spice balance
Final Thoughts Secrets Unveiled is an addictive debut that blends suspense, grit, and romance into a story that’s hard to put down. If you love dark MC romances with strong-willed heroines, protective alpha men, and plenty of twists, this one deserves a spot on your TBR. I can’t wait to see where Rebecca Hamby takes this series next.
OMG!!!! I am addicted to this series already and it's only just begun 🏍🏍🏍
So we have Sage and Saint.
Sage is so sweet and innocent but also so fiesty and demands respect. She is such a great friend, amazing sister and niece and just has a beautiful personality. It is terrible what she went through but has come out of it an even stronger individual and I love what that represents.
Saint, OMG!!! He is everything! I love him so much. Saint is a big and beautiful and you can't help but like him. He has always been a protector for Sage and I think he's probably always had feelings for her but didn't really want to acknowledge what it meant. He's just such a giant teddy bear for everything Sage.
Rebecca has done it again with another action packed plot. From start to finish I was captivated with Sage and Saints story. There are so many twists and turns and I'm here for it because it kept me hooked. That plot twist was insane but it made sense. It was beautiful how you see Sage and Saints relationship go from a sibling style bond and the banter to match to so much more....
I'm so excited for the next book, I want all the girls and the guys to have their own books because they are very deserving of their own happily ever after, even Saxon who's a little grumpy if I do say so myself 😍😍😍
All I can say is read this story, you will not be disappointed.
Thank you so much Rebecca and your beautiful team for giving me the chance to be apart of your amazing ARC team. I am forever grateful 🙏 All opinions are honest and my own 🩷
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶
🏍 dual pov 🏍 forbidden 🏍 slow burn 🏍 best friends sister 🏍 motorcycle club 🏍 enemies to lovers 🏍 touch her and ☠️ 🏍 spicy scenes
Secrets Unveiled had everything I had hoped for in a dark, morally gray, motorcycle club romance story. It kicks off with a tragedy and then rolls right into a full story of suspense and secrets and solving a mystery.
While Saint and Sage danced around each other, I was so invested in their story. As his best friends younger sister, Saint always felt like he had to protect Sage, but she's all grown up and ready to do her own thing without her broody brother or his friend always watching over her. Despite that though, Saint comes to her rescue over and over again and Sage finally starts to notice him as more.
The chemistry between Saint and Sage was smoking hot and these two were just deliciously perfect together. I loved how Sage was strong, despite the tragedy of her past. The way that Saint loved her was just beautiful and I could not get enough of these two together. With the perfect bit of suspense and danger, their relationship evolves through it all and I really enjoyed this story.
Lucy Rivers and Ben Riley nailed the narration for this story. They perfectly portrayed the tragic, suspenseful, dangerous, sweet, and sexy moments of the story and kept my attention through the whole book. I sat on edge anxiously trying to figure out what was coming next throughout their entire performance.
TROPES: Motorcycle Club Brother’s Best Friend Enemies to Lovers Touch Her & Die Found Family
Thank you to Rebecca Hamby and High Gravity Audio for the ALC.
Rebecca Hamby's "Secrets Unveiled" is a dark and addictive motorcycle club romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With a plot full of action, twists, and turns, this book is a must-read for fans of the genre.
The story centers on Sage Wilder, a fiery and sweet young woman who nearly perished in a house fire that claimed her father’s life. This book is highly addicting, and you’ll find yourself flying through its pages. The narration, performed in duet by Lucy Rivers and Ben Riley, is truly amazing, bringing the characters and their intense emotions to life.
"Secrets Unveiled" is just the beginning of a series you won’t be able to get enough of. With its intriguing plot, lovable characters, and gripping suspense, you won't be disappointed.
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sage was able to survive a fire in her house, but her father was not. Her brother Saxton had to take the leadership of the King’s Ace motorcycle club. And there is Saint. His best friend and sort of enforcer. Tyler Saint Bones is like her annoying big brother, always bickering and overbearing. Until it’s more…
I really like how the PTSD and Sage’s insecurities are described. It’s raw and true. The plot is good. The tension and the characters are built as the story progresses.
All the side characters are introduced. So pay attention 😉 it will probably matter to the following books in this series.
Two aspects of the story made me feel a bit uneasy: - the age of the character. Especially regarding Saint’s attraction to Sage.
- and few repetitions between chapters.
Otherwise I enjoy this reading. I open the book and 7 hours later I was done 🤭.
Tropes - Brother’s best friend - Motorcycle band - Obsessed and overbearing MMC - Found family - Bickering - Touch her and disappear vibes - Spice 🌶️🌶️.5 / 5
I had the privilege to receive this book as an ARC. This is my honest review.
Content Warnings Graphic: Panic attacks/disorders, Death of parent, Sexual content, Fire/Fire injury, and Injury/Injury detail Moderate: Blood and Gun violence
Audiobook ALC Review - Secrets, lies, and a whole lot of heat 🔥Rebecca Hamby’s Secrets Unveiled had me hooked from chapter one. Sage Wilder barely survived the fire that took her father, and while everyone else calls it an accident, she and her brother know better. Enter Saint, her brother’s best friend, protector, and the man who’s been keeping his own dangerous secret: his feelings for Sage. 👀
🎧 The duet narration by Lucy Rivers and Ben Riley? Chef’s kiss. Their voices carried the grit, suspense, and raw passion of this story perfectly. Lucy gave Sage strength, sass, and vulnerability, while Ben nailed Saint’s broody, protective, morally gray vibe. Together, their performance made every stolen glance, every dangerous moment, and every spicy scene feel alive. I didn’t just listen, I lived this story.
✨ Tropes & vibes: 🏍️ Motorcycle Club drama 👨👧 Brother’s Best Friend 🔥 Enemies-to-lovers tension 💀 Touch Her & Die energy 🤝 Found Family feels
This was everything I love in a dark MC romance; suspense, betrayal, danger, and steam balanced with heart. Sage and Saint’s chemistry was deliciously messy and magnetic, and I devoured every moment.
Huge thanks to Rebecca Hamby and High Gravity Productions for the ALC.
SAGE SAINT & SAX. What an amazing team they are. Before you think this is Poly let me clarify it is not. Sage and Sax are brother and sister. Saint and Sax are bestfriends. You see where it is going? Rebecca the LOML....wrote another amazing book. This is her 4th book and I have read all of them and she is amazing. The book starts with a literal bang. Sage is trapped with no way out, someone safes her though. She has no idea who saved her from the fire but it was someone. This someone sends her gifts every year as well on her birthday due to the fire happening on go figure her birthday. They do not think the fire was an accident by any means but have no idea where to start on how to figure out what happened. Their uncle Frankie took care of them after their dad died. Never did they think he would betray them in anyway but boy were they wrong. I could literally give this ENTIRE book away!!!!!! I will leave the mystery man a secret. To be honest you will figure it out pretty quick. Get ready for a wild ride and alot twists and turns. BUT SO WORTH IT!!!!!

Brothers best friend Found family Slow burn Motorcycle club Obsessive MMC Touch her and die Frenemies
Duet Narration - Lucy Rivers & Ben Riley *the narration was good. Lucy is always amazing. I loved Ben’s voice but I kept wanting him to give a little more depth, emotion into his reading. At times it felt he was literally just reading the page not so much a performance. BUT I did still very much love the book.
This is a dark motorcycle club romance. It starts off 7 years ago and everything changes for our FMC. The two MCs are in each others world. He is very protective over her and she gets annoyed with him because of it. Somewhere along the way things start to change as these two finally admit they like each other and begin to act on their urges.
The writing is captivating and easy to follow. There is some great banter and fabulous spice happening. Looking forward to more from this series.
Secrets Unveiled is the first book in The Kings Aces series. It is a dark MC romance with mystery, suspense, betrayal and intrigue. This book mostly involves Saxon, his sister Sage and his best friend Saint. Saxon and Saint are trying to find the people responsible for killing Saxon’s dad. While investigating, they come across unexpected information. Who is the culprit? The duet narration by Lucy Rivers and Ben Riley was phenomenal. Lucy Rivers was fabulous as sweet sassy Sage. Ben Riley(a new to me narrator), was extraordinary in his portrayal of Saxon and Saint. He had a beautiful sexy tone as Saint that was just for Sage. His broody obsessive nature came through perfectly in his voice. They brought this story to life brilliantly. I highly recommend listening. Thanks to the author and High Gravity Productions for this ALC.
This book was highly addicting, I couldn’t put it down and flew through it. This is a dark motorcycle club romance, think Sons of Anarchy vibes!! We have Sage and Saxon who are brother and sister, and Saint who is Saxons best friend…need I say more….hello brothers best friend trope 😍
Saxon is the head of his families MC club and Saint is his right-hand man. Meanwhile, Sage is kept in the dark about the true inner workings of the club. She soon finds out just how dangerous this line of work really is. This book had so many twists and turns, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The chemistry between overprotective, obsessed Saint and demanding, sweet Sage is undeniable. I need more!! I cannot wait to read the next books in this series!
Some of my favorite tropes in this book are: 🏍Enemies to lovers ☠Brothers best friend 🏍Dual POV ☠Touch her and die 🏍Forbidden love
Some of my favorite quotes:
“I’ve never needed a man to tell me I’m beautiful, but the way he makes me feel like I’m worthy. Worthy of love, worthy of affection and care, is more than any man has ever made me feel. I’m his equal.”
“She’s the candy your mom tells you to stop eating after two pieces, but when she turns around, you dive in for more and more until you’ve developed a sweet tooth, and nothing can stop you from getting your next taste.”
“I would do anything, kill anyone, be anything she wants me to be just so she will smile at me the way she is now”
I found myself completely captivated by the intricate interactions and compelling relationships between the characters throughout the entire story. The way the secrets gradually unfolded was particularly satisfying, and I was thrilled to see them all eventually come to light. The writing style was absolutely fantastic; it was so well-crafted and immersive that I felt completely drawn into the narrative and found it incredibly easy to get lost within the pages. The author truly excelled at crafting an engaging and suspenseful story, which kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, making it an unforgettable reading experience.
The narrators really helped bring this story to life as well. I loved the Duet-style narration.
Sage and Saint's love story was a wild ride. I was holding my breath until they got together. The brothers' best friend troupe is one of my favorites. I have been interested in the MC Series stories as well. The way Saint loves Sage is everything. I went through this audiobook really fast. The mystery throughout the story kept me guessing. Lucy Rivers and Ben Riley did a phenomenal job with all the voices. I would listen to Lucy narrate all day! Her voice is soothing. Ben's voice for all the male characters was different, and I appreciate that. I dislike it when they all sound the same. I can't wait to read or listen to the rest of this series!
Who doesn’t like a good motorcycle club romance book & the fact we are getting a whole series 😁 i am stoked - the character building from this just one book. Finished this book in 24 hours. The plot was there. Spice for me is 🌶️🌶️ but that’s okay cuz this book kept you wanting to read more. Sage & Saint 🖤✨ he falls first and will do anything for her. You get the following: 🏍️ frenemies 🏍️ slow burn 🏍️ touch her and die vibes 🏍️ brothers best friend 🏍️ motorcycle club romance 🏍️ possessive male 🏍️ body trauma 🏍️ secret/lies 🏍️ betrayal
🔥 Secrets Unveiled gave me everything I want in an MC romance—danger, loyalty, family bonds, and a forbidden love that’s impossible to resist. Sage’s strength and determination pulled me in but Saint🥵The best-friend’s-little-sister tension was off the charts.
🎧 The duet narration by Lucy Rivers & Ben Riley made this story even more intense. Their voices captured both the grit of the motorcycle club world and the raw emotion of Sage & Saint’s connection.
If you’re into motorcycle club romance with secrets, revenge, and sizzling chemistry—this one’s for you.
I enjoyed this read. The plot was good, the characters were very balanced, very well written, they had nice chemistry. It was maybe a bit repetitive, like the author is not very experienced. I enjoyed his obsession and protectiveness. He was a dangerous, nice man. 😁 I really like reading it. The spice was a bit repetitive, though. I think two fewer scenes of spice were enough because it was always almost the same. And the ending was nice.
So um dnf at 9% cause I'm sorry 😭I got over her being a tomboy but she felt like a pick me tomboy BUT I got over it, same thing with her being blonde. Then you tell me she likes reading, loves books....okay and she's an artist, oh brother! WE GET IT! But idk I guess I just couldn't like Saint or whatever his name is CAUSE UR TELLING ME HES 6 YEARS OLDER SO WHEN SHE WAS 14 YEARS OLD THAT 20 YEAR OLD HAD A CRUSH ON HER. That's all I was thinking about but PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️ I loved this book more than I expected I would. The plot had me locked in. There is just so much about this book that I loved. The relationship between Saint and Sage was perfect. The build up, the fight he had for her, the love that was so obvious. The friendship between Saint and Sax. The side characters. It was all so good. If you haven’t read this one definitely add it to your list!
4 ⭐️ a motorcycle club and brothers best friend book, sign me up. sage is truly an underdog, girl is fiery as hell and very quickly proves her self as capable of dealing with club business. saint on the other hand was a cinnamon roll to a T, did he still have bad boy mc vibes going on? yes but he was such a softie. the plot in this book was outstanding, i love a good murder mystery.
i cant believe more people haven’t read this, it was delicious🖤
