I don’t think these guys can write anything I don’t love! Cassie – Gathering Leaves review blog

These stories about the Fae are now on my list of favorites that I anxiously wait for and drop everything else when one is released. Archer and Ravynheart have created a very enchanting tale with a unique method by which to deliver it. The writing is great, the plot is interesting, the characters are multi-dimensional and the delivery is superb. Kat – Smitten with Bad Boy Heroes review blog

The world building in the story was amazing. I walked away from this book and felt like I was still immersed in the fey world. The action was fast-paced and had my adrenaline pumping. The magical side was very intriguing and the characters were well fleshed out... Archer and Ravynheart's writing style is what pulled me in from the beginning and kept me glued to the pages all the way through. It is both beautiful and dynamic. The Sidhe is a series of short novellas; each spanning only a few chapters but the stories themselves are interesting and the cliffhanger is definitely suspenseful enough to make you want to read the next book. I particularly appreciated the format of the series. It felt almost like watching a TV show. Megan – The Reading List

As usual, S.A. Archer has created incredible characters that grab you and drag you into their world. Kelly – Reading the Paranormal review blog

It's really neat the way things cross this series. It's not confusing, just neat the way I'm reading and think, "Oh, that has to be so-so from Touched, and then Touched in Rise of the Unseelie too. Just nice to connect the three series. This series has action and fighting, but what this series holds my attention with more is the world building with the characters knowledge and history, and even what they are doing now. Melissa Hayden – My World in Words and Pages review blog

I would definitely like to read more books in this series and I have them sat on my kindle waiting; they won’t be staying there unread for much longer. I’m keen to read more about the world that S A Archer has created. Jenny – Chocolate Chunky Munkie review blog

For all of London's bad calls and lapses in judgement she's made since she was cursed with the Touch, she's an intriguing character. I honestly don't know if Lugh's the best choice for her as a patron. Lugh is very calculated in his interactions with her, whereas the Unseelie (when they aren't out to kill her for her part in Malcolm's imprisonment) seem more upfront and connected to the world. Which makes sense since, you know, Lugh hadn't ventured into the world of man for a while before the collapse of the Mounds.

I like London. I like how dogged she is. She's a fighter and a survivor and the things that she needs might finally be falling into her lap. Not that I expect it to be easy for her. No way. I expect that things will get worse before they get better. Because that's the way addiction works. And London? She's addicted, though it's through no fault of her own.

The end is coming up fast. I'm excited!

London is a bit of a bad guy, caught up in the drama that is seelie/unseelie sidhe. After being attacked by a sidhe, she becomes one of the "touched" who are rapidly addicted to the power that is obtained when a sidhe shares his/her "touch." If she doesn't find someone to take her on soon, she'll suffer like a drug addict and eventually lose her mind.

The first lead she has on a sidhe patron comes from her special ops friend. He wants her to look into some druid priest who claims to have a connection to sidhe. While planning this trip, she also gets a call from the local vampire mistress. Upon arriving at her den, she discovers an ancient sidhe that seems to be her most likely patron... as long as he doesn't find out about her past. As this seems unlikely, she follows through on the job, which is anything but easy. There's wizards and sidhe and lots of introduction to this well written and interesting world. Sadly, I don't think I have any way to get the additional books in this series to learn more.

Joe is back and chatting with London. London tells him about her threatening text from the Unseelie. We learn Joe has found himself a Sidhe to serve. But then, Joe didn't contact London to 'catch up' and chat about her flailing reputation he'd heard of. No, he needs her help and it just might clear her name enough to please his Sidhe boss to take her in. It's always good to have a backup plan when your life depends on it, if she can pull it off and clear her name.

We get to see two characters from previous stories; Joe and Riley. Great to see the characters resurface again!

Joe's to check out a man for his boss. A man who likes to think of himself as a ladies man, and thinks London could do the trick.

London is scared after her run in with the Unseelie. She's now stacking out her own home waiting to see if they come for her. She's not been staying there.

This story does cross with Lugh's story in Protector of the Light. We get to see London's view of the meeting of Lugh. Again I was worried it would be to much repeat from Lugh, but from London's mind the brief encounter is new and interesting.

I really found this interesting with the tie-in with the other books/series here. I've been trying to piece together from the other series and London (to me) unknowingly fulfilling a mission for a Sidhe and maybe even through extension helping the one that wants her dead.

Sneaky. Good. Well played. I love it when things are all entwined together and play out on a bigger screen. Wonderful addition to London's story and the other series as well, always learning more about this world.

In keeping with the overall connectedness of The Sidhe series, Compelled does an amazing job in continuing the overall tone of the series and piecing together the events that have happened so far. This book runs concurrently with Protector of Light (Champion of the Sidhe) and focuses on London meeting Lugh for the first time.

London is possibly the most flawed character in The Sidhe series but despite her short comings she proves that she isn't necessarily a bad person, just human and desperate. Sadly she is a victim of her circumstances and despite the fact that she has made many mistakes throughout the course of the series, some of which have helped and hurt her and the Unseelie fae, I still cannot help but hope that she eventually finds some way to return to her previous life.

Only time will tell how well London and Lugh's manipulative partnership will turn out. For London's sake, I hope it turns out well, but considering how bad her addiction to the Touch is, I know that it can only go downhill from here.

Out of all the characters of this series, and you would think with Sidhe, vampires, and other creatures I would be more apt to want to be one of those, but I found myself more aligned with London. I cared more about the only main human than any other character and I couldn't tell you why, because I truly loved them all. I guess it was because of her humanness and her lack of gifts, strengths or powers. She has courage while going up against beings that would tear her apart with just her wits and a gun. I felt every moment of her struggle. Whether it was the physical struggle to stay alive or the inner struggle to do what she thinks is right even at great personal cost.

I can't say enough about this series. If you like urban fantasy then stop right now. You can't get better than this.
