I love me a good romantic suspense novel and Uncovering Love did not disappoint. This book was so good! It had my mind all discombobulated trying to figure out who was the puppet master pulling all the strings. Poor Gianna. My heart absolutely broke for her. She is the true definition of having it all then, losing it in the blink of an eye. And, on top of trying to manage her grief and take care of her baby, she has to deal with her ignorant azz ex-husband, ex-Mother-in-Law, ex-BFF, and sister. Yeah I said her sister. Gianna may have forgiven that heffa but, I didn't. When I tell y'all I wanted to fight all of them! The phrase "these hoes ain't loyal" was coined just for them. Whew chile! The betrayal was real. But, as they say, when one door closes another one opens. This door opened and let fine azz Grey Summers in. Thank God for Grey. He came through with all his cockiness and BDE at just the right time. She didn't know it when she bumped into him but, Grey was everything Gianna and Theo needed. Unlike those other people, who were suppose to have her back, Grey helped Gianna get past her grief and heartbreak and realize she could finally start being happy again. This man was awesome and did I mention how fine he was?!!! Now, I will say, I wasn't all that surprised when it was revealed who was helping the puppet master stage all those murders. He was such an a-hole, there was no way he wasn't dirty. Uncovering Love was such a phenomenal book. I was absolutely infatuated with this storyline. It gives you sex, intrigue, scandal, suspense, mystery, romance, and so much more. This was my first book by M. Monique and it will definitely not be my last.

This Story Had A Lot Going On
There was so much going on in this story with all of the corruption, lies, murder, false accusations and infidelity….I’m surprised that Grey and Gianna were able to find one another and even fall in love. Grey, Gianna & Lil Theo really did make for a cute family. I’m also glad Amber came around…she was actually the one crazy.

The beginning of this story had me interested but it fell flat for me. I didn’t really get into it until almost the end. Now, I did love Grey. He was great but his romance with Gianna just didn’t connect for me.

I really enjoyed this series ever though I read it backwards 🤭. I’m going to need M. Monique to identify series reads a little bit better lol. But getting into this story of Grey and Gianna!!!! Loved it!!! These Summers men know they love hard and ride hard for the women that have captured their hearts! While Blu is still my fav, Grey was not to be played with! He owned every room he walked in and commanded the attention of everyone. Sage, Wyatt, Landry and Jasmine were the scum of scum and the way Gianna dealt with them with class definitely speaks on how she was raised. I’m so glad she got closure and was able to heal. She definitely stayed high despite them going to the low of lows. Great read!

What you won’t do for love? Grey did everything 🥰 4⭐️!
After reading the tragic prologue I was shocked that we started off the first chapter with Gianna divorced! Like what?! Still grieving her parent's deaths and not believing that her father killed her mother and then himself she meets with her now ex-husband to try and get him to help her reopen the case. Wyatt refuses and insinuates she’s crazy which in my mind has me hot off rip! Like how do you act like this to someone you love then find out he’s now remarried to her ex-best friend?!? Oh hell no! Gianna leaves Wyatt’s office a mess and bumps right into her future in Grey Summers! Grey knew immediately there was something in Gianna’s eyes he wanted to uncover and protect regardless of what anyone thought especially her ex-husband. Grey’s sister Tiffany getting a homecoming dress made by Gianna puts these two back in each other's space and it was hard to stop the attraction once it started. Grey didn’t only capture Gianna’s heart but also her son Theo who is seeking a father figure. These two being in each other's space has a few people bothered and this is where the drama and suspense kicks in. Grey is working on solving a case while simultaneously Gianna is dealing with the grief of her parents and trying to heal. Grey finding a connection between his case and Gianna’s father’s old case is the connection that sends a series of unfortunate events underway and has Gianna questioning herself and if she can truly trust Grey. I was hooked from page one and when we start getting answers I was not surprised but this didn’t play out the way I was thinking it would. Grey wasn’t letting up on Gianna and I’m so glad she broke down and called him while at the hospital. Grey rallied back up and got the answers to protect his family and crack this cold case wide open! I thoroughly enjoyed this story and am so glad I listened to The Write Honesty Podcast that put this book on my radar! I love a suspenseful romance! Despite minor grammatical errors, I definitely recommend this book! I’m off to read the next Summer sibling book!

I loved this book. I don’t get why I haven’t heard much about Grey Summers because babyyyy he was that man. First time he seen Gianna he knew he would be seeing her again. No matter how many times her ignant ass ex-husband tried to cock block. Grey was persistent, protective and petty. I love when there’s romance, but the plot be plotting. I was so invested and loved every minute of it. His relationship with Theo is one of my favorite parts. There’s twists, betrayal, and character development. I had to curse some people out. Definitely recommend.

Wooow! This is my second book by M. Monique, and I really enjoyed it.
First of all, Gianna deserved the healing and all the love that Grey gave her because everybody in her life was fucking trash. From her ex-husband to her sister, they all were just fucking trash. The twist as it related to her ex-husband and ex-best friend was something that I wasn’t expecting but I KNEW IT! I loved the way that Gianna developed throughout this book. You watch her go from a broken woman mourning her parents to woman that had a new pep in her step.
Grey Summers … pure BDE! My favorite thing about him was undying love for Theo. Every time he treated Theo like he was his own, my heart melted. I also enjoyed the fact that he was open and aware of the healing that Gianna needed to do and didn’t hinder her from doing it. Her being loved by him helped heal what was happening with her to be honest.
The characters, the story, all of this was just delicious and I couldn’t help but eat this story up.
Also, I can’t wait to start Blu because him being in this story made me want to know more about his mysterious ass.

Okay, I was having trouble continuing a read until I decided to start this one and Uncovering Love surprised me a lot more. At first I expected something more melancholy, but everything went betteeer. Grey, Gianna and Theo, I love them and I want to protect them. The relationship between Gray and Theo was wonderful, the way Gray took care of Theo, played with him, protected him and especially the feeling of love and paternal that they had was very beautiful 🤧❤️❤️. Tifanny was also a great character, loved meeting her. And of course the relationship between Gianna and Grey, oh my god what was that, so sexy, hot (sex scenes were woooo🔥🔥) funny and beautiful. Gianna is wonderful, she is cute and strong at the same time, I loved it. I really loved reading it all. The final one was sooo cute, and I must say that after chapter 16 I didn't want to stop reading anymore, because each chapter got better and better than the next.

Whew chiiiiilllllleeeee, these Summers brothers are something else! Didn't know this was book 1 until I was already in book 2 so I read out of order.
Grey, like Blu, is not to be messed with! I love a man who loves his woman out loud and wants the world to know she belongs to him. Grey knew Gianna was for him from a fluke encounter and didn't care what anyone else thought or said to him about his lady.

Gianna Ɛ Grey
Wow!!! This story was soo good. How do I describe Grey? He was cocky as heck. The man was fine and he knew it and he never failed to let us know either. The tattoos, the beard, the eyes, the muscles, the swag. I guess it was the "light skinned" complex. But the more we got to know the Grey, the easier it was to fall in love with him. He loved so so hard and without any reserve. He was so protective and so caring. The moment he met Gianna, it was over for him. He loved that girl so beautifully. He had such a potty mouth and the AAVE was so strong. One thing that was weird to me was how he kept referring to Gianna's son, Theo, as "Lil baby" when he's talking to him and about him. He did the same thing to Gianna. Calls her "my baby" and refers to her "lil baby" "lil shawties". But Grey was amazing. Gianna stole my heart. She was a sweetheart. She went through soo much. l felt her pain through the pages of this book. I loved the fighter in her. Thank heavens for Grey, cause he was so good to her and Theo. As for Wyatt?! He had it too easy. Sade....No comments.

I thought it was slow at first in my opinion, but it actually flowed pretty easily. I guess I was just too eager to find out what was going on. First time reading this author and I would read her work again.

The book was good, but the real action didn’t kick in until the end. I actually enjoyed the suspense more than the romance. I will say, though, I loved the MMC’s name, Grey Summers! Too cute lol. He was definitely stepdad of the year.
The romance between Gianna and Grey was okay, but something was missing.
Sade felt pointless, the story would’ve still ate down without her psycho self lol. And the big sister Amber was weird asf. I get not believing your sibling, but picking up the phone just to taunt her… like, what was the reason?! Leave that girl alone, ugh.
I’d still recommend the book for the suspense, fasho!

Standing ovation ma'am! You did the damn thang! This read was full of suspense, mystery, and most of all love. I loved Gianna's kind heart, and sweet spirit. My heart broke for her after learning of her loss in such a tragic way! However, Gianna knew that the stories that were being told were pure bullshit! She was determined to get to the truth! That damn Wyatt left a lot to be desired. What would cause a man to leave his wife right after giving birth to your child, and get with her friend? Where they doin' that at? 😠 GREY! Is a man's man honey! New detective walking into the police station with his thug swag going on! 😂 After Gianna literally ran into Grey and their eyes locked, you just knew this was something special. It took Grey a minute to break Gianna down enough to get some conversation, but once that happened it was on! They were a perfect match. The way that Grey loved on Theo, and basically treated him like his son, right from the beginning was beautiful. I began to worry that Grey would not be able to find the missing pieces to solve these cases, as they were buried so deep. But, whew..... when the truth came out! Damn! Then Wyatt's involvement, and Sade's crazy ass! Just read it ya'll! You will not be disappointed! M. Monique has not failed me yet! Great read! 👍👍👍

Gianna was such a sweet character, the personality the author gave her pulls you in from that first page. I hated what she had to go through but she was very strong 💖 Now… Grey 😩🙌🏾 I’ll just say that this author knows how to make a reader swoon with her male characters!!! The man was just bad, didn’t play about Gianna, Theo, and his loving nature for his family jumped right off the pages. Once you begin reading Uncovering Love you will not be able to put it down. 💖

1. Gianna is one of my least likable FMCs. Just irky, annoying and slow
2. I liked Grey, he is my type down(physically) BUT he’s aggressive as hell when it came to him playing stepdad. Like he didn’t even allow Gianna to introduce him to Theo he intruded on meeting him fr
3. Wyatt better known as Brian McKnight and Sade are losers!
4. That sister can kiss my ass and wtf was Gianna apologizing to her for?
5. The story was overall good but the lack of consistency in certain characters and some of the writing style is why I gave the book 3.5

Accepting Love
Sigh I loved Grey with his country self. His accent, hood aura yet sweet demeanor, his determination, and his loyalty made up a beautiful man. When he first met Gianna, he knew she was special and he treated her as such. I loved how he met her where she was and didn't force anything on her, but instead slowly showed her who he was. His immediate connection with sweet Theo warmed my heart. The way he loved him out the gate showed how serious he was about the both of them. The way he courted both of them, was so intentional and I loved him for it. Not to mention his swag was on a hundred thousand and he made sure they matched his fly.
Gianna had lost a lot over the past three years and she was rightfully hesitant about entering in something new. Grey's confidence and love for her helped her come out of the shell she had protected herself with. His actions and his consistency scared her initially and I side eyed her heavy. Poor Theo was confused as to where his friend went, and I was glad when she let him love them freely. For her to be so hesitant she never mentioned birth control and the math wasn't mathin, but I was mesmerized by Grey too so I gave her a pass. Things progressed for them quickly and I loved that for their little family.
The supporting characters were everything, I loved Tiff with her bold self. I read her story first not realizing this was a series and I loved her in this light too. Wyatt's raggedy self was not making good decisions at all. I wasn't prepared for how grimy he ended up being. Sade was delusional and unstable, I don't know how she convinced anyone of anything but I digress. I honestly loved how miserable she made Wyatt because he deserved it. Amber didn't make any sense to me. The lack of support for years and then let's make up so easily was not in my ministry. Not saying she should have held a grudge, but how does Gianna trip with Grey over one incident but easily accept her back after years of bs. The Summers' clan was so sweet and they were extremely accepting of Gianna and Theo and gave them a new family. Blu was a mystery and I can't wait to read his story, something tells me that neighbor might be the love he wasn't expecting.

I've been waiting on Queen MM to drop a new release and honey she did not disappoint! Bay-be honey child, Whew we! This release was well worth the wait cause she you put your heart and soul into this book💕. Soo many plot twist, soo many lies and a while lot of scheming 😔.
Sade most definitely got what she deserved, thinking she was gonna ride off into the sunset on a white horse and be happy with someone else's husband🤬. Sure was one manipulative scheming ass bih😒! Hopefully the time away will help her get her mind right🙄.
Wyatt ass got exactly what he deserved in every way possible. From that miserable ass hoe he made into a wife and mother😒. To him being sick in a lifeless, loveless marriage cause he was too much of a bih to do right by the ones who loved him. Oh but the BIG F**K YOU came in the form of Wyatt to his high Sadidi miserable momma and Sade with that Life Insurance😜🤣🤣🤣🤣.

That man played no games about them and didn't play with her when it came to him taking care of all their needs. That man was a walking orgasm, Oh-kay 😜. The details when they were having sex, Whew we😜💦💦💦💦🤣🤣🤣. I wanted to jump in the book🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤣.
I ain't gonna lie for a minute I was pissed at Gianna for how she tried to end it with Grey fine sexy ass, but I have her a pass. To know that it's 2 of him😜😍, that's a wet dream times 2🤣🤣🤣. She really went through it tho and held her head high while everyone around her shitted on her even her own damn sister. I wanted f**k Amber up for the disrespectful shit she said to her, about her🤬. Although the craziness brought her to her sister, I was sooo thankful they were able to reconcile and rebuild their relationship❤.
Patrice, Tiffany and Mr&Mrs. Summers were amazing. The way they took Gianna and Theo in as family no questions asked. Loved on them🥺❤🥰.

The best part of their love is how Gianna wanted to heal for herself. She wasn't quite there when they meet but baby girl definitely wanted to get things right for Grey. It happened due to the person that loved her making her feel like her feelings were hers to own. She didn't have to hide them or feel bad about them. Even though I don't think Grey would have let her she could have cried all the time but he would just find a way to make her smile. I am glad she got her closure though because none of the was fair what Sade and Wyatt did. The colors of the Summers definitely has a nice ring to it lol. Blu should interesting!!!

I ate this book up! This book threw me for a loop from the beginning. Grey was everything! He’s definitely giving my man, my man, my man. Step daddy of the year!! Everybody around Gianna was so trash!! Sade needed her ass whooped!! I didn’t think Sade needed a POV. Gianna was a hypocrite though because she was keeping secrets too.
I didn’t care for the male narrator. I also didn’t care for the celebrity comparisons in looks. Definitely some inconsistencies. Grey said Theo looked like a mix of Gianna and Wyatt but then everyone else said Theo looked like Gianna’s dad. She said Wyatt gave her half the money from selling the house but then later said Wyatt left her nothing but the clothes on her back.

This love story was a breath of fresh air for me. This story makes you believe in second chances for love and life. Gianna could have let everything break her, and in some ways she did. She was starting to see the light again but Grey came in and helped her see it even more in a way that only a real man can do. I feel even more in love with Grey with how he took to Theo and loved him like his own. If I can ever have a love like this, I'd be set for life!

The author really knocked it out the park with this book. It was giving love, suspense, drama, and plot twists. I absolutely adored Grey Summers and all that he stood for! I am not sure what I expected but this one exceeded my expectations. I loved the way that Grey loved on Gianna and Theo. I found myself so into this book and losing sleep in the process. I feel that Gianna deserved to be loved by Grey-she had me worried a few times but I knew she wouldn’t lose a good man like Grey. I feel that I got good closure from this book- it was complete and all of my questions were answered by the end. Very good work on this one! ❤️

I thought Gianna was gonna get on my nerves when the book started, but she did the total opposite. Grey came in doing what needed to be done! I love the way that he pursued Gianna, he gave her time to come around instead of being a thirst & bugging. Wyatt & Sade are characters I absolutely HATE! Sade needed her @$$ beat tf up! The book started off so cute then immediately took a dark turn I was like wtf?! It literally all came together towards the end.
