Once again, I am faced with The Forsaken-that nefarious order cloaked in darkness and malice.
Whispers of their latest diabolical scheme have reached my ears, and now it's up to me to stop them. But my hands are tied (literally) by the cursed rusane around my neck, rendering my magic useless against them.

Llegar al final de esta saga fue como cerrar un proceso emocional que fui viviendo libro a libro, acompañando a personajes que sentí tan reales.
Este último libro fue crudo, sincero y profundamente humano. No hay finales fáciles cuando lo que está en juego es el alma, y eso se nota en cada página. Kim Richardson no buscó una conclusión perfecta, sino una honesta. Una que duele, que alivia, que quema, pero que también te abraza cuando más lo necesitas. 🖤
La protagonista me volvió a emocionar con su coraje, pero también con sus heridas. Es imposible no identificarse con esa lucha constante entre lo que uno siente, lo que uno debe y lo que uno teme. Y él… él sigue siendo fuego y sombra a la vez, y en este libro, más humano que nunca.
El amor que se construyó en medio del caos, del dolor, de la pérdida fue lo más hermoso de leer. Es un amor que eligió quedarse cuando todo se desmoronaba, que eligió sanar en vez de huir, que eligió amar incluso con miedo. Y eso es, para mí, lo más valiente de todo. ❤️

I enjoyed the premise of this series but I just don’t think it was the one for me. The pacing felt hurried throughout the whole series. I’m glad we finally got some understanding behind Kat and her backstory, I just wish we could have explored that deeper.

L’histoire en deux mots

Katrina est bien décidée à arracher Dash des griffes de Marita. Elle trouve l’adresse de l’affreuse démone dans l’un des carnets de Nelson qui a été assassiné par les Oubliés. Arrivée chez sa rivale, elle la met au tapis, la laisse en vie et ramène son amoureux qui est très affecté par la mort de son ami. Désormais, elle doit remettre la main sur les tablettes et au passage, détruire les Oubliés, avec une aide inattendue, Evangeline Lawless. Il y a donc un espoir pour sauver Moonfell et le monde.
Les points positifs

L’histoire d’amour entre Katrina et Dash se concrétise. Le lecteur a droit à des scènes torrides. Kat se réconcilie avec sa mère, ses amies et même avec Blake. Et en plus, c’est le dernier tome de la série. Tout est bien qui finit bien. N’est-ce pas ce que souhaitent les fans ?
Les points moins convaincants

C’est long et on a hâte que cela se termine car il y a des tonnes de descriptions inutiles de bagarres. Le ton change, ce qui n’est pas cohérent avec les livres précédents.

When the final book in the Moonfell series came out, I devoured it. And it was so satisfying. This whole series was exciting, and intriguing, and heartwarming, and I loved Kat’s witty comments. It wasn’t hard to see where she got that; her Great Aunt Luna. There were many characters that I could see in my mind’s eye. And the love interest was PG rated, which I appreciated. The story was so well written, that each book had a story I wanted to read, but the plot throughout tied them all together perfectly. I very highly recommend this book, and the whole series. I will definitely look to see other books by this author.

Kat gears up to take down the Forsaken. Some super twisty surprises in this one. Loved the big showdown and would love to see a book containing one of the twists. Sorry if that is confusing but I don’t want to give anything away.

Inticing series
Book four and it's getting better and better. Can't wait for the next story of this series!
Kim Richardson is an amazing author that writes exciting paranormal mystery adventures. I've yet to read any of her books I havent thoroughly enjoyed

I really enjoyed this story. It was easy paced & interesting. It concluded the story arc with the Forsaken, & Kat finally found out where her unusual Umbra magic came from

Action packed
Edge of your seat, one reveal after another with some angst thrown into the mix. But seeing the good guys win and old relationships repair and new ones begin was the best. Enjoyed this immensely.

Good read
I liked this book much more then book 3. We finally get some answers and we get a happy ending. It does feel a little incomplete since the big reveals where at the end of the book.

Ravie de cette fin de saga qui était plaisante à lire. Néanmoins durant les 4 tomes, je note une écriture simple & répétitive ce qui est dommage. J’ai tout de même passé un très bon moment.

j'ai découvert par hasard cette saga fin 2024 ! j'ai de suite accrochée ! j'ai adoré suivre ces aventures avec cette petite touche d humour quand même ! et ce 4eme tome ca a été dur de le fermer

on se demande en le commençant est ce qu'elle va enfin réussir a avoir le fin mot de l'histoire
sa mère maltraitée par son père allister va t elle s en sortir
kolton qui devient le nouveau maire de la ville mais que devient l'ancien maire tout sa résolu dans ce tome
Jai commencé ce livre cette après midi a 14h avec quelque pause et termine sur Kindle a 22h

We wonder when starting it if she will finally manage to have the end of the story
Will her mother, mistreated by her father Allister, will she get out of it?
Kolton who becomes the new mayor of the city but what becomes of the former mayor all his resolution in this volume
I started this book in the afternoon at 2pm with a break and finished on Kindle at 10pm

Quina saga tan fantàstica, l'he gaudit moltíssim. No sé si Kim Richardson farà un altre llibre que segueixi perquè m'ha semblat que al final del quart llibre queda clar que vol acabar-ho així, però vull dir que si fos el cas a mi no m'importaria llegir-lo.
Si haguéssiu anat llegint les opinions que he anat escrivint a tota la saga ja s'ha pogut notar que m'ha agradat molt, aquest tema de personatges paranormals i tal... , sempre ha estat així. Aquest darrer llibre ha estat èpic perquè Kat ha estat enganyada i l'han agafada per poder conjurar un déu, precisament al déu de les ombres i la foscor... i no dic res més per no fer spoiler sense voler. Llegiu aquesta saga, crec que Kim Richardson té molta imaginació i aquests llibres es llegeixen rapidíssim, encara que he de dir que la traducció deixa molt a desitjar i hi ha faltes d'ortografia i de gramàtica, però amb tot i amb això la recomano.

En este cuarto y último libro de la serie, la situación de Kat se complica con sus vecinas y amigas, Annette y compañeras y parecería que no había forma de arreglarlo. Blake, ahora ayudante de Kolton, continua sus ataques a Kat y Dash. Pero Kat tiene a Kolton y una persona de su familia que confía en ella y la ayudan. Pero una sorpresa inesperada resulta ser un nuevo familiar de Kat. Si los libros anteriores de esta saga eran muy buenos, este es el mejor.

Un cierre muy interesante, me gustaría saber más sobre el padre y saber cómo se conocieron la madre y el dios. Me gustó que kolton y la madre se juntaron y que al final Blake pudiera abrir los ojos.
