Running a sprawling Colorado ranch in the dead of winter isn’t for the faint of heart. Do you believe that sometimes people are just meant to meet each other? That the meeting was planned by someone above to bring us together and show us true love or a second chance at love? This is what happened to a couple on the Hearts Desire Ranch. This book is their beautiful love story between Chase Heart 42 and Chanel Montgomery 32 and his adorable little 10 year old, Maddie. They are both writers and he is an artist as well. She writes Romance stories under the name Chanel Love. Chanel agent had contacted Chase trying to get him to let Chanel come to the ranch. She wanted to shadow him for one of her upcoming books, but he is not interested. She is determined to meet him as she loves his work and just wants to meet him. She travels to his town and stays for a while trying to run into him on accident but that is not working. So she decides to try to find his ranch. But she had not planned on driving during one of the worst snow storms in 100 years for this area. So while looking for the ranch she slides on some ice and ends up in a ditch. So now she is stuck in the middle of no where and does not have any cell phone service. So what will happen from here? How does she meet Chase and what happens to make them fall in love?

Read this super cute book to get your answers, I did and highly recommend that you do too. You will love it, I am sure!

Navigating Christmas . . .

Chanel Montgomery is an author who is looking for some inspiration to use in her next cowboy romance. She only needs a couple of hours to get the inspiration flowing, and she knows this will be a bestseller. The cowboy should be flattered when she chooses the Heart’s Desire ranch for her research, but Chase Heart doesn’t need the distraction while he works hard to keep things going in the winter. Chanel, however, is stubborn and determined to get what she wants, only to end up stuck in a blizzard. Chase is a widower who is raising his sweet daughter Maddie on his own. He wants nothing to do with falling in love. Yet we don’t always get a choice in the matter when the right person comes along. They seem like opposites, but her sunshine brings happiness to his ranch and to his precious daughter. Will the gift of Christmas restore his joy and make them all a family held together by love?

Chanel Love is a romance author who is looking for the setting for her next series and she thinks she's found it. Unfortunately, it's a ranch belonging to grumpy poet and widower Chase and he refuses her to do research on his land.

When fate brings two together with a sleigh ride and an embarrassing moment, Chase has no choice and brings Chanel to his ranch. Chase's daughter is just the sweetest and falls in love with Chanel right away.

Chanel and Chase hit it off quickly and are able to open up to each other. They both realize that there can be love after heartbreak and sometimes you just need the right person to do that with.

I thought this would be another sweet, cozy book, but with a heart wrenching note from a love one helps give a push at just the right moment. I loved this story of how fate helps guide two people to the path of healing and love.

Chase is still coming to terms with his wife's death three years ago. But this time of year is the hardest. She always made the most of Christmas and always made it special for Maddie their daughter. Now some writer is trying to get access to the ranch to help with her new novel. But it's not happening. Picking Maddie up from the school bus I see a car in a ditch. Helping is the right thing to do, but then I remember I need to pick up Maddie first. Has he really just left me here typical stranded with no phone signal and now no vehicle. But he returns and offers to take me to the ranch to get out of the snow storm. I can't believe my luck when it's the Heart Ranch I wanted to visit. Can Chase accept Chanel or will he ask her to leave. Can Chanel convince him she's not a stalker. This is a perfect hallmark worthy story of forgiveness and moving on.

I want to start by saying I received an ARC of this book. This book is a sweet clean Christmas romance book. This book is about Chase and Chanel. Chase is a single father who is a farmer and also wrote a poetry book. Chanel is a romance writer who wants to learn more about cowboys for a romance book. Chase doesn’t want anything to do with her at first. Will her car going off the road and a snowstorm bring them together? Will they learn to love again? My heart broke for both of them. I was so happy to see how Chanel was with Chase and his daughter Maddie. There were some funny parts to this book that I loved. This is truly an amazing book. I couldn’t stop reading it. This is a book I will reread. If you like a single father, grumpy/sunshine, and opposites attracts at Christmas time you will love this.

This story follows FMC Chanel, who is an acclaimed author trying to visit Heart’s Desire Ranch for inspiration, but secretly also wants to meet the owner of the ranch because she greatly admires his book. MMC Chase has become reclusive since the passing of his wife, so he denied all requests. But fate (and maybe Christmas magic) has other plans. A big blizzard traps Chanel on the ranch forcing them together.

This novella has this grumpy/sunshine couple going through insta-love while also addressing deep emotional issues, which comes just in time for a cozy Christmas at the ranch. The dual-POV helps to delve deeper into each side’s thoughts while they work through emotional baggage in a healthy way.

E.B. Silva gives us a short and sweet small-town story that gives you all the feels. If you’re in the mood for that, this will hit the spot.

Christmas magic plus an amazing snowstorm add in mistletoe! Can this lead to a lifetime love?

Chanel, a romance author focusing on cowboy romance desperately wants to check out the Heart’s Desire ranch but the “grumpy old” rancher wants no part of it. Trying to make it happen, Chanel winds up stranded in a snowstorm when she meets Maddie, the cowboy’s daughter.

This was such a lovely story! I loved the interaction and mistaken identity of Chase. Learning about the new calf and how that sweet baby became part of the world was interesting.

Perfect read if you want a second chance romance, novella, or holiday story.

This was such a sweet read of overcoming loss and finding love in the most unexpected way. I felt like I was reading a Christmas Hallmark movie that had come to life and it was perfectly wonderful. This is a clean contemporary romance full of love and inspiration to move past grief and hardships and be able to find something on the other side of it. I loved Chanel and Chase story and how all the pieces of the past helped push them to thier future. There were so many small touches to this story that really brought it together for me. Knowing it was a novella I knew it would be fast paced story but even as it finished in a great spot I was wishing to see more of Chanel and Chase's story.

I am a firm believer that finding love can be quick, can be mere hours. That it's one heart finding its counterpart. So, when you find someone and fall in love in 12 hours, it's so possible.

And that's what happened with Chase and Chanel, even if he wanted to fight it. But your heart knows when it's time to fall in love again and when it's right. It was right. For both of them. And the loss they suffered, on different levels, only made it that much better. Not to mention, I’m a sucker for loving little children, a must in my book!

Talk about simple Christmas wishes coming true and the faith to believe in them! This was such a great, and honestly, moving holiday read!

My heart ♥️ ughhh I didn’t expect to get emotional reading this book but I truly loved it. The story follows a widowed rancher, single father Ethan, struggling to balance life during the holidays and a city-dwelling romance author, Chanel, researching her next book series. When a snowstorm traps them together, all bets are off & anything can happen. 🎄

Opposites clash, hearts melt and the holidays transform everything 🥰

This book is definitely recommended for those looking for a cute Christmas book this holiday season.

Chanel is a romance writer who loved the poems and artwork of widowed grumpy cowboy Chase who owns a ranch in Colorado. When she goes to find him so she could get him to sign his book and she can tell him how much she admires his work but she can not get him to see her so she drives by his ranch just as a snowstorm hits and her car slides into a ditch in from of his house. That is when he rescues her and takes her back to his ranch where she meets his sweet daughter and the rest of the story needs to be read.

Chanel is trying to get Chase to give her a tour of his ranch. Chase is trying to keep her away. How can these two bridge the divide?
This is an incredibly sweet romance novel. While a fairly quick read, it has wonderful characters that figure out how to give love a chance. It keeps you captivated from the first to the last page.

Chanel and Chase are a great couple. Chase is afraid to open his heart again after his wife passed. Chanel is afraid to let herself truly love for fear of abandonment. Christmas magic, and a blizzard along with some mistletoe, creates a wonderful story.

No quite Hallmark a bit more family friendly.
There's such a sweetness about the story and the realistic aspects are on point. There's a kinda of magic to this story it's the kind were it's relatable & almost funny.
