Some parts I liked, but I mostly hated it. This was a mess!

Safe
No cheating
No separation
No OW
No OM/OW comparisons
Unwanted OM (a cop meant to protect her copped a feel and cornered her)
No third act break up

Virgin Heroine (in a world where she was a slave to the mafia/rapists for 5 years, all the women around her were raped but her. I am glad that she was spared, but the reason that she was kept a virgin to be sold off seemed shoe horned in to me. I think the reason is so NR gives us a virgin heroine since all her heroines are virgins. I would have been thrilled if she paired her with a virgin hero, but hélas, he is experienced.)

Experienced Hero (celibate for 5 years, not much said about his past, but I still HATE experienced heroes. He will never NEVER be all hers but she is all his....I HATE THAT AND WILL ALWAYS HATE IT! I also hate when he says that intimacy is new to her and he wants to show her what he knows.)
Quote,
"It doesn't matter how beautiful she is or how brave, I don't fuck around
when it involves my job. I don't fuck around with girls half my age. And I
definitely don't fuck around with women who need my protection.
But Christ…she's tempting.
How long has it been since I was with anyone?
Five years? Longer?
I can't even remember. I realized early in my career that I don't have time
for entanglements or distractions. Women don't want to come second to a
job, and my job always came first. I never met anyone who made me want
to change that, not when finding out what happened to my sister has always
been my priority.
But part of me is seriously reconsidering celibacy right now…the same
part that wants to slip into that tiny bed with Faith and slip my hand
between her legs, show her how good she should feel."
end quote

GROSS CONDOM USE! (They never used a condom until the last chapter before the epilogue, but when they celebrated her saying "Yes" to his marriage proposal he whips out a condom. I just gasped and said "WHY???" Why separate yourself from the woman you love with a condom?? It means that he had them from before when he must have fucked women in his past or he bought them knowing he wanted to eventually separate himself with latex the next time he fucked her. Even with the whole romantic spiel when he said that when they have sex, it is making love and it means everything to him BLA BLA he still wore one! Nothing says 'I love you and marry me" like separating himself from her with rubber. FUCK THAT!)
Quote,
"His heat leaves me for a moment before he settles over me, pulling my
leg up over his thigh. I hear a condom wrapper tear and then feel him roll it
on before his length presses against my sex, making me moan and tremble
again."
end quote

I am going to talk about what pertain to the romance and intimacy of our characters. Faith was a slave since age 16 until 21 in the bratva mafia and was beaten and tortured by everyone including her mother. She was tortured, scarred, starved but never raped like the others. Her mother ran away, and she was left alone among these men seeing and hearing unspeakable things they do to women, enduring more torture and beatings (not on page but described later when she unveils her past). A shoot out happened at the bar she worked at and Octavio, the hero detective, saved her and kept her close since. Octavio is the detective tasked to look after Faith, since the mafia wants her back. The whole story is him trying to keep her in arms reach because he can't have her but wants her, and her in witness protection, by his side which leaves him weakened with wanting her. The book explores her blooming relationship with Octavio and trying to find her strength after being abused. She sleeps in closets, she has night terrors, and the hero tries his best to protect her and sooth her, but very carefully so as not to frighten her. He wants to love her and wants his relationship with her to be physical, but fights it, thinking it is the right thing to do until he sees that him wanting Faith in his life is worth it. He is patient and she is skittish, but they manage to be a couple together, facing their enemies, taking them down. Octavio is sweet, and I did like his tenderness and care towards Faith. He tries to keep her close but not too close, which leads to misunderstandings. She thinks he does not want her, but he does, and she is worried that he will drop her when the investigation is over. He did think of letting her go ,but only because he thought she wanted her freedom. His heart did defy his reasoning, so he keeps reassuring her that he is here to stay and she is free, he will just be by her side always. Faith is broken but gets stronger and even though she is skittish, she gains strength and confidence, even though she is still shy. I like my shy heroines, and I will always advocate that shyness is not synonymous with weakness. What ruined it for me is that she belongs entirely to the hero, but he never will be all hers since he is experienced. *sigh in frustration*

I hate this world, it is not for me. There are characters I would rather have forgotten that I hate; Roman Gregory the manwhore and Mila the woman who wanted to fuck him to get over her boyfriend in their book and that was after they met and were horny for each other. 'Mister Gregory' is NR's worst book to date. Both are in this book A LOT. NR tried to cram down our throat the bullshit that they are a couple in love, when Roman in his book was absent and ignored Mila during most of her pregnancy, but we are meant to believe that they are a couple in love and he is doting and caring! She is still pregnant in this timeline, and we get a whole new Roman Gregory. A loving, sweet, doting man who lurves his Mila....BULLSHIT!! Fuck off with that! He was an ass, he was a manwhore, he was crude, and she was the worst heroine, getting a boyfriend while lusting after her him. Every time they made an appearance I sighed in frustration, rolling my eyes. Kinkaid is in the story as well, he is the only virgin hero who stayed faithful to his January, so it made me appreciate him a lot more. It made me rethink that his story was the best out of the three.
I also just don't understand why Octavio used a condom when they were having sex after he proposes? That baffled me! He did not use any when they had sex before, so why all of a sudden did he use one after he proposes and she says yes?? It completely ruined the scene, because he decided to separate himself with latex! Again, my mind went mad thinking that either he had these 5 year old condoms from the times he fucked women in this same bed he is fucking Faith (yuck puke!), or he bought them after they had tons of sex. So this man who wants to be as close to her as possible thought, nah, this time I am wearing a rubber with my future wife, and then epilogue. WHAT THE FUCK?? That made me so mad not to mention confused!
Even though Octavio was a sweetheart, and I love that he was a balm of healing to Faith, I still hate that he is experienced. I hate that he wore a condom all of a sudden when he didn't use them the many times they had sex. I hate that he had them in the first place! I hate Nichole Rose's mercurial sexism, it is anger inducing; It is so hypocritical that the heroine can claim nothing in terms of intimacy and sex since her man gave it up to other women in his past, but he can claim all of her firsts! It will never cease to be unfair and infuriating.
I do not recommend it.

I absolutely LOVED it!!! I have been impatiently waiting for this book and it was SOOOO WORTH the wait!!!!
Octavio and Faith are a power couple!!!
My heart broke for all that Faith had been through and had to endure at the hands of the bratva😭💔 I cried multiple times throughout the book! I felt all the feels that they both were feeling. She is such a strong warrior and survivor!!!
Octavio had me swooning from the start! He saw Faith & knew he needed to protect her!! His back story had me in tears as well! The love he has for Faith is undeniable and so heartfelt. He was patient with her and understood exactly what she needed.
Once they realized their feeling for each other IT WAS ON🥵🔥🫠 The spice was so freaking hot and sensual! Had me swooning and sweating lol
I loved the side characters!!! Luke, Kincaid, Roman, Knox, Mila & January 🩷🩷🩷🩷

TROPES:
~protector romance
~age gap
~forced proximity
~mafia-esque
~forbidden love
~"who hurt you?"
~protective alpha x strong heroine
~dark romance

I haven't stepped foot inside a church since I was a kid. I believe strictly in what I can see, and I've never seen heaven or God. But looking at Faith feels exactly like I always imagined looking at an angel would. I don't think she has a clue how truly beautiful she is. Or how badly I want to reach out and touch her, just to assure myself she's real.

Wow. This book was amazing. Sometimes I read a book and by the end, I think "the heroine and hero are TRUE soulmates." That's how I felt reading this book!

Faith is being held captive by the cartel, and has been for five years, since she was 16. She's been abused by them, beaten by them, but it's never turned sexual. She works at one of the cartel's bars and one day there's a shooting. The police are called and that's when she meets Detective Octavio. He takes her into protective custody and in return, she agrees to give him cartel secrets.

Octavio is entranced by Faith at first glance. She's been beaten and starved, but he sees her potential. He's hesitant to make a move on her for many reasons, but mostly because she's under his care. He eventually makes his move... and damn, they're FIRE together!

I love how Faith was withdrawn at the beginning of the book but by the end, she proves that she's strong. I also love how Octavio is determined to kill every man that's hurt her. He brings a new meaning to "touch her and DIE" lol.

I loved this book! I can't wait to see what Nichole writes next. <3

SAFETY:
Virgin/manwhore/celibate: virgin heroine, celibate for 5 years hero
OM/OW: slight OM, she's SA by him but H handles him ;)
Cheating/sharing: none
Triggers: SA, abuse, being held as a slave/human trafficking, murder
Kinks: dirty talk, good girl, priase, rough sex
HEA?: yes! <3

My bookshelves may contain spoilers.

This is the 2nd book in this series and it doesn't disappoint!

Both just as devastating, but definitely not a copy paste version of each other.

This author has the incredible ability to draw you into the story and make you feel everything!

Faith is an inspiration!
What she endured first from her mother and then 5 years as a slave for the Bratva? Balls of steel! Even if she didn't believe it about her self at first.

I was a little apprehensive about this one, having suffered abuse for years myself, this book hit hard, but it wasn't in the least offensive nor did it have a negative effect on me, Nichole Fallon (Rose) was extremely respectful of who her reader might be and what they might've endured, while still managing to do this story justice!

I've marked this review as a spoiler alert, because it's important for me to point out that Faith didn't suffer any sexual abuse herself (which I was grateful for, I don't think I would've managed to read it if she had, but again, that's my story, not for this review)

Octavio loved Faith from the beginning and put her first every single time, despite his desperate desire to take Tarasova and the Bratva down and to get some closure about what happened to his sister, Faith and what she needed came first, anything else was not an option.

The way Faith blossomed because of his love, and grew into herself and started believing in herself, allowing her to love him fully, was beautiful to see.

There was no "hot and cold" bullshit, there was some misunderstanding in the beginning, so my only teeny little gripe is that I would've had them give in to each other a little sooner in the story, but like I say it's a teeny gripe because I get that the author wanted to give Faith some space to heal first.

Like the first one, I couldn't put it down!
None of that 1 or 2 chapters here and 3 or 4 there when I could squeeze it in.. I devoured this in one sitting.

The family got hot dogs for lunch and a takeaway for dinner , I was 100% engaged in this story, they got not much more out of me today 🤭

Read this book!

Faith is a prisoner with a Russian gang in LA. When the bar she is forced to work at is shot up, Faith finds herself in a difficult predicament. Help the cops investigating the shooting, and the gang, or remain trapped. She displays incredible bravery and agrees to help the police. After being attacked by one of the officers who was supposed to protect her, she lands in Detective Octavio Hernandez's custody. He is investigating the gang trying to find out of they murdered his sister. It soon becomes clear, to both him and Faith, that their relationship is much, much more than witness and Detective. They love each other intensely and Octavio will burn the world down to keep Faith safe and by his side forever.

Faith is such an amazing character. The horror she went through, and the reasons for it, which unfold slowly and tantalizingly through the book, made her such a brave, fierce woman. She is still vulnerable, and afraid at times, but she never backs down from helping Octavio. She wants to assist him and his investigation any way she can. She is so remarkable, someone you can't help but cheer for.

Octavio is the man you want by your side. Fierce protector, faithful lover, he only cares about Faith and her happiness. He does everything in his power to protect her, love her and care for her. Her sassy attitude only endears her to him even more, she is his whole world.

Many of the supporting characters were a lot of fun too. Kincaid, January, Roman and Mila were my favorites. They were strong, brave, feisty, funny and highly enjoyable to read.

This book had a myriad of twists and turns, and a lot happened I was not expecting. That, in terms of the mystery element, made it highly enjoyable. You didn't see what was coming, it was a real surprise.

Rose's books are always a delight and this was no exception.

Wow. This was absolutely beautiful. Violent? Yes. Emotional? Yes. Dangerous? Yes. But still beautiful.

Faith has had an excruciatingly hard life. But it didn't start that way. She has good memories, no matter how vague they are now. For most of her life though she's been hurt: physically, emotionally, mentally. In all ways she shows battle scars. Yet she still stands. She survives. And she ends up thriving. If you want a strong heroine who has to fight her way to happiness, this is for you.

Octavio is a detective with the LAPD, and a damn good one. He fights the good fight taking down lots of bad people. When he and Faith meet, attraction meets deep-seated completeness. New feelings are awakened, for both of them. But Faith isn't one to just give in to what she sees or hears. She's been hurt too much to trust someone at first sight. Octavio does bring her a feeling of peace that is unknown to her. She does put her trust in him some. Unfortunately she's so used to being hurt and taught that you can't trust someone's beautiful words. Does that stop their relationship progression? No. It does slow it and for good reason. I appreciate that Nichole didn't make it all sunshine and rainbows. Like she meets her soulmate and all is well. Sure the fairytale is nice, but this was so much more exquisite given the fight needed. Both Octavio and Faith had to fight for their love. Octavio had to practice patience and Faith had to learn to trust again. Both had to get justice. It made their HEA even more fulfilling given what all they had to go through to get there.

The sweet just isn't as sweet without the sour.

I absolutely love this series! It’s so heavy emotional and mentally, so PLEASE take the trigger warnings to heart, but it’s so well done. The love that pours out of these men is something else, they’ll do absolutely anything to protect their women while helping them feel safe and secure. Faith was probably the bravest FMC we’ve seen from a Nichole Rose book, and I hate that her bravery and strength came at such a high price. She was so much stronger than she thought she was and survived things no one should ever have to endure. Octavio was the right man for her in so many ways. He protected her with a ferocity that I think even surprised him while also teaching her what real love was. He took his time to build her trust, create a safe space, and to show her that love isn’t pain. That it can be this wonderfully freeing thing. Her finding freedom through love? Chefs kiss, it was brilliant! I don’t think we’ve seen condom use either before in one of her books, but even that was him giving her a choice and her freedom. Everything he did was for her, and I absolutely loved it. This could be read as a stand alone, however I strongly suggest reading Mister Gregory and Fight for You to get the bigger picture. Both books characters have major rolls in this book, so it gives you more of a feel of what’s going on. Kincaid is still one of my all time favourites, he’s crazy and unhinged even in this one and I love him for it. No cheating or OW/OM drama, dual POV, virgin FMC, HEA and 2 epilogues 3 years and 1 year in the future. Both epilogues also gave a satisfying ending to tie up there story as well in a way that made sense. I cannot wait for Luke’s book! He’s been such a steady presence over the last couple books and I’m excited to see him get his own girl finally!

Outstanding! I truly mean it—Wow!

"Kill For You" is an exceptional read, taking you on an emotional rollercoaster. This dark romance may have some triggering content, so be sure to check for triggers before diving into the book.

Faith has faced many challenges in her life, but that hasn’t stopped her. She remains strong and resilient despite everything she has endured. When she meets Octavio after a drive-by shooting, she finally feels safe. For the first time, she believes someone can protect her, and she decides to go to the hospital with him.

As a detective, Octavio has witnessed a lot in his career. However, when he meets Faith, his possessive and protective instincts emerge. He is determined to bring down everyone who has ever harmed her. The attraction between Octavio and Faith is palpable from the very beginning. He supports and loves her, providing the safety and care she needs to heal from her past trauma. He also offers her the family and friends she has always longed for.

In this dark romance, each character is well-developed, showcasing the strength of the author's writing. We witness the growth of all the characters throughout the story. We will laugh, cry, and hold our breath at just the right moments, even cheering when the antagonist gets what they deserve in the end. I must say, this is my first Nichole Rose dark romance, and I'm definitely eager for more!

This is the 2nd book in the Warrior for Her series featuring the deliciously dark and emotional age-gap, possessive alpha, forced proximity romance between Octavio and Faith. Octavio and Faith's story is a real page-turner it grabs your attention from the very beginning of their emotional journey together which has ups and downs and twists and turns that really get you in the feels. Octavio works for LAPD he's a detective and he meets Faith when there's a shooting at the bar she works at and from their 1st meeting you can see the chemistry between them as sparks fly. Faith brings out all of his protective and possessive tendencies and Faith has had to deal with a lot in her life yet she hasn't let what's happened stop her she's tough. When she meets Octavio after the shooting at her job she actually feels safe and Faith goes to the hospital with him because she believes if anything happens Octavio will protect her and she's not used to feeling that way. When Octavio finds out that the shooting has to do with organized crime and that they kept Faith as a slave he places her in protective custody. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this deliciously dark and emotional age-gap, possessive alpha, forced proximity romance to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book Ms. Rose truly outdid herself the writing is phenomenal!

Nichole Rose is one of my favorite authors. Her stories are always an amusing, light read. However, when she writes under her pen name Nichole Fallon, you can be assured there is depth to these stories. Please make sure you note the trigger warnings on this book and check to ensure you are comfortable reading these topics.

Faith is a young lady who has endured a lot in her short life and has spent the past five years locked in a cage. Octavia has spent the past many years working his way up to Detective in LAPD and has made it his mission to bring down the Bratva in his city, as he has a personal vendetta against them.

This story is not to be taken lightly, and it pushes a lot of dark subjects into focus. I cried for Faith, I held my breath while reading this story and hoped she would not only survive everything she endured, but found a way to heal, grow and prosper from it. And watching Octavia show her through his actions that not all men are evil, seeing how he took care of her and watched out for her was truly inspiring. This book definitely has heart and soul, and if you are not put off by the triggers (seriously, make sure you are comfortable with these triggers!), I highly recommend this book to you.

4.5 stars!

This was a really dark romance between the Russian Brava and law enforcement—namely the LAPD, ATF and the DEA. At its center was Faith, a young woman who had suffered for years at the hands of the Brava and Octavio, a detective determined to take it down and make Faith his.

There was a lot more to this book than I was expecting; thank goodness for the trigger warnings, otherwise I would’ve gone in blind and been in for a huge shock! The details of what Faith had suffered were really intense and graphic; several times I caught myself, my attention wandering, thinking how hard it was to imagine something like that still happening in this day and age, even while knowing that it does…it was heartbreaking even as it was extremely thought provoking.

For readers who love dark or mafia romance, you’re gonna love it—it was so realistic but, even with the darkness aside, it was an amazing love story at its most basic with Faith and Octavio going through so much in order to be together.

It’s honestly a great book and I wholeheartedly recommend it, just make sure to read the trigger warnings if you’re sensitive to anything mentioned here. 4.5 stars!

I received a copy of this book for free from Instalove Influencers but this is my honest opinion.

Faith Donovan is stuck working for the Bratva in a bar. Her mother and her husband, Alexei Palatov supposedly stole $300,000 of the Bratva’s drug money. Nikolai Tarasova is holding Faith as collateral even though she knows her mother is never coming back. Her mother never wanted her in the first place. Faith has been stuck in Tarasova territory for the last five years since she was 16. One night at the bar, there is a shooting and the owner shoves Faith down behind the bar to keep her safe.

Octavio Hernandez is a LAPD homicide detective. He approaches Faith as a paramedic is treating her hands for cuts. She knows that she should not talk, but Octavio is the first person in a long time who seems to really want to help her. She needs to go to the hospital to have glass taken out of her palms. She tells Octavio some of what she heard. Octavio wants the Tarasova Family taken down. Nikolai has been in charge for almost four decades. Octavio’s older sister is one of their victims and his family never got closure.

This was an intense story from beginning to end. I was happy to see both Kincaid and January make an appearance in this story. I was rooting for Octavio and Faith to get their happy ending.

Nichole Rose is one of my favourite instalove authors, but when she writes as Nichole Fallon my appreciation for her just grows.

I don't want to spoil this by divulging too much, but it's an emotional read.
Faith is such a strong character who has endured so much that you just can't help but want to pick her up out the book and hold her.
Octavio is a possessive alpha, who will do anything and stop at nothing to protect those he loves, even if the relationship is forbidden.
If you enjoy dark romance, with heavy themes but ultimately a happy ending then definitely give this a try. I read this in one sitting as I couldn't put it down!

Quick note - please read the trigger warnings, as if your used to Nichole's instalove writing and go in blind to this series your in for a shock. This story won't be for everyone, and that's absolutely fine as it does highlight the real world and what goes on. This book highlights Nichole's talent as a writer as she carefully crafted this story and treats it with such care and attention. 5/5 stars.

Kill for You, what an amazingly beautiful, brutal story. Before starting, check your triggers, and although Kill For You is written by Nichole Rose, it is also under her pen name Nichole Fallon, who writes much darker romance books. Detective Octavio Hernandez, a good cop, a cop who only wants to clean up his streets. Faith, a woman who was raised in a cage, a cage that the Bratva created, there aren’t literal bars, but still a brutal cage. When Faith escapes, during a firefight, and right into the arms of Detective Hernandez. Kill For You will rip your heart out, I cried for Faith, I cried for life that Faith had to face. I cried for the way Octavio protects Faith, not just from what or whom is stalking her, but from the nightmares that stalk her in the night. And once again, characters from other dark romance stories make appearances. Men who will stop at nothing to protect their women. I loved Kill For You, I could not put it down.

This book... THIS. BOOK! I don't know if I can do it justice but I'm going to try.
First, please read all TW's. This is definitely darker than this author's other stories (except Fight for You).
Octavio and Faith are literal relationship goals. Their love for each other is everything good and pure. Faith has been through more in her young life than most can even dream of. Octavio is the detective asking for her help. While their attraction and feelings are instantaneous, the relationship itself builds slowly. They both stumble along the way but land in each other’s arms every time. And it's just so beautiful!
The emotions in this book... definitely keep some tissues handy. It pulls no punches regarding the ugly side of those things we don't want to think about. But it offers healing and hope too. These characters are strong and human, written so perfectly that you feel like you know them personally.
If you like dark romance, HEAs, and love, READ THIS BOOK.

💕My rating:4.4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am loving how long these darker romances are because the stories are so compelling, and you get sucked in so fast! Octavio was giving dark, tall, and protective the entire book, and who could blame him when he had found his one in Faith. This was a little more slow burn than the others for obvious reasons, but it was written so well that you really feel for the characters when they’re ready to face all their feelings together.

The story was great, the pace was fast and easy to fly through, and the way they loved each other in such a soft and caring way was so endearing. Faith and Octavio are a great addition to the couples that have now made up a found family of baddies at this point, and I can’t wait for everyone to find out who they are. I love cameos and friendships with characters from other books, and these certain people were written in perfectly. Everything in the plot was wrapped up well, and I throughly enjoyed the ending.

Octavio & Faith

Woah. This is good. Really good. But it’s gritty and harsh and deep. Please check the trigger warnings before jumping into this one.

Faith is young but her life has been beyond hard. She has struggled since she was a small child. First with her mother and then with the bratva. She somehow retains an innocence even while being older than her years.

Octavio is hard and weathered. Yet the attraction between them is instant. He is crazy possessive and protective. Their relationship just feels inevitable and so right.

This book is so good. I feel like I know these people. I feel their pain, sadness, happiness and love. I’m a fan.

This was a rollercoaster of a story and I loved every second of it. There are some triggers so please read the warning before reading but I promise it is worth it.

Octavio Hernandez is a detective who arrived at a crime scene after a bloody shootout. Faith Donovan has been a slave to the Brava for years now. She was working in the bar when the shots fired. She took the brave step and told Octavio what had happened. Now, her life is in danger. Octavio has been drawn to her from the beginning and he will do whatever he needs to in order to keep her safe. He becomes her safe space. Faith and Octavio go through a lot of things in order to get together. Will he keep her safe?

I received an ARC from the author/publisher for an honest review.

This book left me feeling heavy emotionally. This was just messed up but the fact that things like this happens in real life. I haven't lived that life that Faith did but I felt for her from beginning to end. Happy that it was a better ending for her towards the end. If you have triggers and aren't able to cope with reading about a fictional character do not read this. This is not the book for you it's good and the display of healthy love that she has to adjust to to properly receive just left me feeling some type of way.

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was the best book this author has ever written in my opinion. It was so captivating and also very heartbreaking. Faith was the most amazing heroine, she went through hell but she still maintained her ability to love and to have hope and I found that so inspiring. I loved that the romance between Faith and Octavio was the slow burn kind and that he was so intent on protecting her even from himself at times. I couldn’t get enough of the story and I really didn’t want it to end.

Even though 2025 is only 2 months in I can already declare this story one of the top reads is 2025. It’s so emotional the depth is astounding it just pours off the pages. Faith had such a hard life but she was so darn strong it was beautiful. And oh my gosh Octavio I don’t know if anyone could love anyone as strongly as he loves Faith. Absolutely beautiful story and the epilogue was amazing, adorable and so good I don’t even have the words to describe. Everyone needs to read this book immediately!

A beautiful but intense love journey-so do note your triggers. This is the story of Faith, a young woman who has faced the worst in her young life, and Detective Octavio Hernandez who falls for her. I cried and felt all the emotions as Faith learns what love really means. Octavio’s full tender devotion and alpha ways when his girl is threatened was beyond swoonworthy. The plot is filled with strife and danger as they unravel her past. Loved the found family amidst the chaos. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

5 stars!! I love Nichole Rose's lighter romances but her darker ones are just as amazing. Faith has endured a lot in her 21 years but it didn't break her. She is the best FMC: strong, resilient, and so fierce. Octavio was so protective and supportive of Faith. This was an emotional read but Nichole Rose wrote it perfectly. I felt Faith's turmoil but also her triumph. Love this book. Cannot wait for the next in the series.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

I read this book in one sitting and I loved every second of it. The chemistry and sparks between Octavio and Faith was undeniable and sizzling. I loved the suspense and twists of their story very much. Beware of the trigger warnings.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for an age, forbidden, forced proximity, dark romance then you’re going to love it.

Faith (h) and Octavio (H) were on a whole other level. This was a darker read than usual from this author but just as good.

I love how at the beginning Faith was kind of mousy but by the end she proves her strength. She goes through so much, but in the end she's thriving.

This was rough, dirty and dark at times but delicious.

These books by N. Rose and N. Fallon are some of the stories you read that stick with you. When I read the sipnosis I thought I wouldn’t be ready for a story with those Trigger Warnings, but the story caught me from start to finish. Octavio appeared in time to save and protect Faith, who at her young age was a strong woman but having someone capable of anything to keep her well and happy helped her. And the happy ending that everyone deserved was the best.

His Little Bunny
Octavio will always keep her safe. Faith’s life has been brutal, from one nightmare to another. Until a shooting occurs and a detective asks for her help. She gives it willingly knowing in her heart that Octavio is everything she needs to exist, though others will try to destroy them.

I feel like I went through almost every emotion while reading this. Faith is such a strong person and my god, I just wanted to hug her. Octavio was a bit broody, but so protective over her almost instantly. The slow burn of what was happening between them, while they both tried to fight it, had me in a hold. Their journey was full of intense moments, but I really love their story.
