The first book in The Defined Trilogy, Defined by Secrets will take you on a journey where every note, every secret and every choice resonates with emotional intensity.
From the moment Presley Bennett and Ben Hewitt met in primary school, their connection was immediate. Destined to be best friends, their undeniable bond flourished over time.
Now adults, Presley, the exuberant girl who grew up in the midst of rock royalty, navigates life as a rock star while she searches for her elusive “forever love.” While Ben Hewitt, the quiet boy with a shattered past, grapples with his silent love for Presley.
When a tragic accident leaves Presley lying comatose in the hospital, Ben takes her on a poignant odyssey through the defining moments that shaped their friendship. The past and the present eventually collide, leading to a series of choices that could change both of their lives forever.
Will Presley and Ben end up having the epic love story they were meant to? Or will their friendship be destroyed by the secrets they continue to keep?
I loved the way that Robi intertwined the present with the past! The story was creative and spellbinding! Robi showed a gift of words and storytelling! Recommend it to all that love a good love story!
“Defined by Secrets” was amazingly written! I loved every character and how the author weaved the back stories and details throughout the book. One scene even brought me to tears! I feel like I personally know all of the characters and can’t wait for “Defined by Murder.” Once I got to chapter three, I couldn’t put it down! My favorite read of the year!
Presley and Ben are best friends who have the potential to be so much more, if they would only be honest with themselves and each other. But, have they lost the chance?
Read this book! Romance, rockstars, and the boy next door? Yes please! I immediately connected with Pressley and Ben and their sweet, romantic story. I always love a good friends to more than friends story and this one was great. We're rooting for these two crazy kids right from the beginning and I love how the first book wraps up the beginning of their relationship, but also reveals darkness yet to come. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
