Ryan is an Acolyte loyal to the cause and determined to do whatever is necessary to further the agenda no matter the cost or how horrible the task may be. Ottavio is a loyal member of the Houston Corps sworn to uphold peace and the law. He has never questioned his orders, but lately something doesn't feel right.
Two different men with two different ooutlooks are standing on opposite sides with the fate of humanity between them.

Adaptation Part 1 tells the story of these two men and the world they live in. America was almost destroyed by war, but her people were resilient and fought their way back to some semblance of normalcy. Now the fate of her people will be influenced by an Acolyte and an enforcement agent.
Jeremy Tyrrell crafts his world and his story beautifully. He makes you feel like you have been dropped in the middle of the action; you feel like you are following the characters around instead of just reading about it in a book.
Tyrrell writes with a skill that you can see immediately. Nothing is overdone or underdone, it all just fits. There is a reason for everything (even if you can't see it at first) and a flow that makes it easy to read and follow.
As soon as you start reading you are drawn in, and you know this is something special. You are engaged from the first page to the last. This is an author we will hear a lot about, and this is a series set up to be amazing!!
