Oh boy, Jo Chambliss' books just get better.
This time Bandaid and Atlas tell their story. Both are in the military, Dr Bowie "Bandaid" Myers is a SEAL and Charli "Atlas" Beckett is an airforce pilot. Their lives cross, for the first time, while on the same mission (although neither of them knew that at the time) in Abu Dhabi and there was some serious mutual attraction. After a night together they go their separate ways, or so they thought.
The story continues with dangerous missions, unpleasant colleagues, loss, heartache, love, friendship, family as well as growth. At the same time this book is different to Jo's earlier books, not as suspenseful, she concentrates on the two main characters, how they become each other's scaffold both professionally and emotionally.
Jo Chambliss hits the ground running from the first page of the first chapter (as always). The plot is well thought out, the writing is crisp, on point and the story is interesting.
If you enjoy military romance, intense stories, Jo Chambliss's books come highly recommended and Crashproof is an excellent read.
