great women with great stories

bad writing.

there were a good amount of phrases that were repeated in almost every chapter. specifically: the sport, being historically dominated by men. (or something along those lines.)
we are aware and that is why this book was written. we don’t need to be told every single chapter.

also, i found a good amount of it boring which i know their stories definitely aren’t, i just wish there was more excitement.

anywayyyy

I REALLY wanted to like this book. But it was extremley repetative, offering no new information, andeverything was just based on information anyone could find themselves if they wanted to. The only saving grace it had was that it wholly focused on women.

Ps, it was also written at the start/middle of the 2024 season, so it already felt very aged in its comments about the season, and I question why it even included anything about the 2024 season at all when it could have just …not…
