While investigating, Lola’s higher-ups give her a rap on the knuckles. Someone is trying to derail the investigation. What are they trying to cover up?

The author is a Master of dialogue. You will be amazed at his capacity to deliver his plot through conversations rather than 3rd person pronouncements. I was disappointed at his first volume as he made a plot dump (similar to Poirot's pronouncements at the end of the novel). But his 2nd and 3rd volumes were first class works. He has good imagination, good descriptions. I very much enjoyed my time in his world.

More Lola please
Enjoyed the three books, the characters (particularly Lola) were believable, human, funny, and the story lines were good, strong and it wasn't easy to spot the baddie. More please.
