I’m approximately 90% certain my mate, Hunter, is going to reject me. Apparently the pain is unbearable. So I do the most sensible thing any sane woman in my position would do. I run, in my beat up Toyota. I hide, in Scranton. I Google Hunter, while I ignore the world. The internet says around 200 attractive, rich, suitable females want Hunter.
Good. They can have him. So long as he doesn’t formally reject me.
My life changes for the better when I’m in New York City with an unexpectedly generous new job. There’s no way Hunter will find me in the masses, right?
Wrong.
I stumble upon him, literally, in a gym. I try not to ogle his wide shoulders and muscled pecs. But my traitorous eyes obey my ovaries, not my brain.
Tragically, the gym is in my new job’s building. I don’t want to be unemployed but, and I can’t stress this enough, Hunter is not only my boss, he owns the company.
I’m positive I’ll be fired and rejected by him. And it’s only Saturday.
I should be able to avoid Hunter because the company is huge. I’ll hide in the bathroom if need be.
Hunter’s an arrogant, rude, and absolutely, gorgeously frightening werewolf.
Okay, I'm new to omegaverse/shifters so I'd take this review with a grain of salt. However, Pride & Prejudice is my favorite so I'll read any/all retellings.
Overall, I enjoyed it. I'm not a huge fan of instalove, but I know it's a big part of the omegaverse/shifters so I was able to put it aside, but it was always in the back of my brain that it had happened. I'm also weirdly slightly icked out when there's no 3rd act breakup haha It's weird and it's 110% a me thing. I tried not to let that affect my rating of it, but who knows.
I really enjoyed Tori's character (even though she really made me irritated and mad most of the time with her low self-esteem and doomy pessimistic outlook). Once she was convinced Hunter wasn't going to reject her, her character really took off and I loved her.
Hunter is the perfect broody and grumpy man. However, his arrogance was knocked down a few pegs by Tori and it was nice to see him go from arrogant, scared jerk to loving mate.
The shifting and running and playing and stuff that happens in wolf form I thought was adorable. It was like watching a cute Disney animated animals flirting. The side characters also really sold this book for me. If it was just the sweet, often OTT love between Tori and Hunter, I'm not sure I'd survive, but the side characters were the best.
I also liked and also was annoyed by the family drama that happened in his book, but at the same time, without a 3rd act break up it slotted in nicely in my head to cover the drama that normally happens with the breakup.
All in all, I'm really glad I read this and enjoyed it a lot. I can't wait to keep going down this road and see what else there is for me to read.

Tori and her Wolf (The New York City Werewolves) by Zara Doyle explores the fated-mate bond between werewolves Tori and Hunter. After a less-than-positive first impression on Hunter, Tori believes he will reject her. To avoid the brutal pain that comes with mate rejection, she leaves the state, hoping to disappear. Mechanical engineer Tori lands her dream job and moves to New York. She enters her building’s gym only to discover Hunter there. He’s the CEO, the company’s owner, and her boss. Now, she’s not only freaked out about rejection, but also fears losing her job. Rich, handsome, arrogant, rude, and frightening, Hunter is a werewolf who can have any woman or werewolf. Why would he choose Tori?
The novel gets off to an intriguing start. Doyle drew me in with her descriptive opening scenes. The way the story’s first half plays out with Tori being so fearful over rejection and running away without the author providing context for why her fear runs so deep doesn’t work narratively. Tori finally evaluates her feelings clearly and more rationally and stops running. However, Doyle develops their mate relationship so quickly that I think it hurts the story. Maybe giving them time to get to know each other more before accepting that they’re mates and starting an intimate relationship would have felt more organic. They go from zero to 60 and it feels off. Including Hunter’s POV for a small portion of the novel or more development of their romantic relationship would help make it feel less rushed.
While we get to know Tori’s character very well, we know little about the hero other than what we’re told before they get together. And what he reveals to Tori after apologizing. He does everything possible to care for Tori and her brother and show he cares for her, even before they get together—without her even knowing. I like how he took responsibility for his failings and mistakes and how much he tried to take care of her and her brother and help her without question whenever she needed it. Nevertheless, it’s hard to say we know him. While their sexual tension is palpable and intense before they explore their mate bond, and Hunter and Tori share sweet, funny interactions once he declares his feelings for her, apologizes, deciding he’s all in, their love scenes felt awkward. I, unfortunately, didn’t connect with their relationship.
The novel suffers from having an unreliable narrator in the worst way. Because it’s written in Tori’s first-person POV, we only experience Tori’s limited perspective of events and her thoughts or beliefs about what Hunter thinks and feels about her. Her confusion over her feelings of attraction to Hunter is overwhelming, and it colors all her thoughts, making it difficult for her to think rationally over the book’s first half. Doyle's storytelling heightens all the mistaken ideas, self-esteem issues, and mistaken communication that occur in romances. It gets frustrating after a while because the story goes nowhere.
It makes sense it’s written in Tori’s first-person POV since the author intends for the novel to have Pride and Prejudice vibes, Doyle captures Pride and Prejudice vibes in Tori and Hunter’s initial interactions. The scene where she confronts him before leaving town is excellently written to display those vibes, as well as those with Hunter apologizing.
The mystery behind Tori’s roots and her eyes is interesting and well-developed. Doyle incorporates other connected mysteries within the novel to keep things interesting. Tori and Her Wolf is an intriguing, suspenseful, steamy, angsty, funny, paranormal romance recommended for fans of:
• werewolf shifter • enemies-to-lovers • fated mates • instalove/instalust • billionaire hero • forced proximity • different worlds • first love • contemporary paranormal romances
CW: alcohol and drug abuse/addiction by secondary characters.
Thanks to Zara Doyle and The Author Agency for the ARC.
Even though I read a lot of omegaverse books, I am also a fan of shifter romances that don’t really fit into the omegaverse. Werewolf romances with fated mates hit a lot of the same things that I love about omegaverses. But I love the added element of the MCs wolves interacting. I love that that the MCs can shift and run free to get out all of their stress. Tori and her Wolf is one of those shifter romances. It’s based in a world where there are werewolves and humans. It’s takes place in a place where they hold celebrations for the summer and winter solstices so that the wolves can find their fated mates. I enjoyed reading about how Tori could feel the pull and just knew. This story was kind of an insta-love story because of fated mates, but it also had a touch of enemies to lovers. It gave the story a twist on the typical fated mates trope and gave it some depth.
I like Tori as the FMC. She was had some self-esteem issues, but honestly, that made her seem more real. But Tori also knew her worth and knew that she wasn’t just going to roll over because the Moon Goddess made someone her mate. While she had some issues, she knew exactly who she was and wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself. She was strong and was able to stand up to Hunter when she felt disrespected.
At the beginning of the book, I really wanted to hit Hunter. He seemed like such a jerk. The way he talked when he thought it was just he and his friends was so crappy. I wanted Tori to run as far away as possible from him. But as the story progressed, we got the chance to see the real Hunter, and realized that he wasn’t quite the jerk that he seemed at the beginning. Hunter actually started to treat Tori right and I felt better about his pursuit of her.
While it is one of my favorite tropes, fated mates can be a rough one for some people. You can be matched with your arch nemesis, but because fate says you are supposed to be together, that’s the person that you belong with. This story started out like that but as it progressed I felt that the two MCs really came together. There is a bit of spice, not too much but what was there was great. I thought that this book was entertaining and a good book for someone to read that is just starting to get into omegaverses and shifter romances. There was nothing too angsty and the story itself was entertaining.
This was a good read! Tori was a fun main character! I really enjoyed her personality and sense of humor! It was also interesting to learn about Tori's past and see her relationship with Hunter change and to see her brother get the help he needed! The only thing I can say that I didn't enjoy was that the romance seemed rushed. One minute they weren't together and the next they were but honestly it didn't stop me from wanting to know more. So overall it was a fun and interesting romance read! Thank you The Author Agency and Zara Doyle for sharing this book with me!
Tori and her Wolf is the first book in Zara Doyle's new The New York Werewolves series and the first book I've read by this author.
Firstly, I LOVED that this book started off set in Connecticut, where I originally grew up! It's so rare to find books set in that part of the US and I was so excited. I also loved that it transitioned to NYC and Manhattan. I related to Tori when she transitioned from a small town in CT to the big city as I also moved from a small town to a big city, albeit in another country!
Tori's character did get a bit on my nerves with her refusal to accept her mating with Hunter but I easily got distracted from this with the goings on with Tori's brother, Dillon and the things that started happening which peaked my interest.
I enjoyed the fact that this book didn't just stop at Hunter and Tori discovering their mating but it continued on to hidden secrets from Tori's past. It was unique but also very intriguing and definitely kept me reading well into the night.
I really enjoyed the characters in the book and how Tori is a bit feisty but still enjoys the protectiveness of Hunter and his wolf. Hunter's character showed a lot of growth and I enjoyed getting to know the more pleasant side to him than was initially portrayed.
I also really liked that the story world had werewolves as an active part of the real world. They aren't hidden from humans but exist alongside one another.
Overall, this book was really well written and unique enough to stand out from other wolf shifter books that I've read in the past. The character development was great and I liked the unique story world that Ms Doyle created. I look forward to reading the next book!
Tori is a shifter and it's that time in her life when she's old enough to start looking for her fated mate. Hunter is a billionaire shifter who happens to be her boss. This enemies to lovers has pride and prejudice vibes in modern day, where werewolves are commonplace.
This is instant hate to instant love once they give in to the fated mate bond. There is a lot of other things going on in Tori's life as well that seems to keep her on the move and her focus split. Thankfully Hunter is there to support her as she faces these problems and learns some shocking news.
If you want to try out a shifter romance with the fated mate element and enjoy workplace and/or billionaire romance get this book!
An enjoyable shifter romance read. A good plot, main characters I liked, side characters that I want more on and a sprinkle of spice. I struggled a little with the third person writing as it’s not my preference, but it didn’t impact my enjoyment. It followed a pretty predictable path, but that’s not a bad thing. I appreciated the lack of third act break up too. It didn’t have huge wow factor, which would normally result in a 3 star review from me, but it was light and easy read which was what I needed today, and I wanted their HEA so I’m bumping it to a 4. Looking forward to the rest of this series.
Was pretty good!!!!! Thanks to the author for allowing me to read this before it comes out.I think it is great for readers looking to get into omegaverse and werewolf romances 🙂🙂 Tori and her wolf is also has a pride and prejudice vibe which I have not read before so very interesting read
Tori and Her Wolf was a wonderful read. I needed a bit of a palette change to my reads. Tori and Hunter cannot be anymore wonderful for each other. I’m a sucker for romance so I really enjoyed reading this book. I hope that she continues with this series because I would love to know about the other characters in this book. Definitely 5 stars for me. Zara Doyle I really enjoyed this book. 😁
Tori and her wolf By: Zara Doyle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Slow burn 🔥 🌶️🌶️
In this book you meet Tori and Hunter. Tori works at a bar and Hunter is her boss and the owner of that bar. Let’s say they both didn’t make a good first impression. Hunter says some hurtful things which makes tori decide to quit her job, move to the big city and get a new job. Little does she know her new job is owned by her mate and ex boss.
This book was such a good read! If you see looking for a good werewolf shifter book, you should check this one out! I want to thank Zara Doyle for letting me read her book! I am so happy I did! She had me laughing and blushing. This book is worth the read.
Top tier shifter romance! I was immediately invested in this story. Tori is a little naive, but sweet. And Hunter presents himself as a total ass, but we come to find out he’s just a big sweetheart afraid of his own feelings. There are a few twists and turns along the way, that add a little something to the story. If you’re into contemporary shifter romances, I think you’ll love this one!!
**Thank to the author for the chance to read and review this ARC!!**
Fun read. First book I’ve read in this particular genre and loved it. Love the character of Tori, she is both humorous and real, very relatable as a woman. Author Zara Doyle has me hooked and I look forward to reading more of her works.
This was fun and fresh as someone who's a first-time reader of the "werewolf romance" genre. Characters were relatable, the sex was...well, sexy...and the mythos/worldbuilding of werewolves was well-thought-out by the author.
This was an absolutely great book with just the right amount of spice!!! I recommend this 💯 Check out all of Zara Doyle's books they definitely don't disappoint!!!!!!!!!

*Tori and Her Wolf* is a perfect blend of romcom charm, angsty romance, and heartfelt emotion. It’s a delightful read that left me smiling, swooning, and feeling deeply for the characters.
Set in a world where werewolves exist and finding your mate is a life-changing event, Tori (and her inner wolf) dreams of meeting hers. She’s incredibly smart, self-sufficient, and endearingly funny in all the right ways. And if only for a moment, Tori’s strength shines through when she stands her ground and refuses to back down from an arrogant drop-dead gorgeous alpha-hole: Hunter. The bar and parking lot scene were priceless.
Hunter is a man/wolf born into wealth and privilege. His upbringing has given him a cocky edge, and while he’s aware of his good looks, he’s more than just a shallow playboy. Many respect him for his integrity and generosity. Though he makes his share of mistakes with Tori, I loved watching Hunter work to make amends for how he treated her—his groveling and genuine efforts to redeem himself were nothing short of swoon-worthy.
Woven into the story is the deeply touching and unexpected storyline of Tori’s brother, Dillon. His journey adds a layer of emotional depth to the book, offering a poignant look at family, loyalty, and healing. Through Dillon, we get to see another side of Tori—not just the quick-witted woman, but someone compassionate and fiercely protective of those she loves.
The side characters are fantastic, too—some are lovable, while others will have you rolling your eyes wanting to throttle them. If you’re a fan of shifter romances with fated mates, protective alpha males who learn from their mistakes, and fierce, independent women who claim their happy endings, *Tori and Her Wolf* is a must-read!
I love paranormal stories, and I love fated mates. Even though I had never heard of Zara Doyle, I signed up for the book because it's a Werewolf romance and that alone meant I needed to read it.
Not being familiar with Zara’s writing and what to expect, I was a little disappointed at first with how Tori runs from the connection without giving Hunter a chance to explain and the storyline involving her brother but I realized eventually I was quick to judge.
It is all part of Zara’s process and if I have learned anything from my previous paranormal reads and favorite author’s it is to always trust their process so I gave the story the benefit of the doubt and I am so so so glad I did.
The slow burn was everything in this story. From the moment Tori gets her dream job and moves to New York, it was inevitable that the chemistry would be unstoppable. Zara engineers the most elaborate plot of bringing these two fated mates back together while still building a story full of suspense, surprising twists, emotion, character growth, typical paranormal rituals and steamy scenes.
This story is brings a whole new meaning to Do Not Judge A Book by It’s first few chapters. Because once you understand the mastermind that @zaradoylewrites is your journey through this story and The New York City Werewolves will be anything but normal, ordinary or bland.
Thank you @zaradoylewrites and @theauthor.agency for my ARC.
This book started off very promising. Our MCs, both wolf shifters, meet and instantly get off on the wrong foot. Unfortunately for them, they later on discover that they are actually fated mates.
Although their inner wolves are ecstatic that they found each other, their human counterparts are decidedly NOT happy about this development. Tori overhears Hunter rejecting her based on her social standing (he's a wealthy alpha) and is hurt, embarrassed and angry over it all.
I found the author's take on shifters and their inner wolves interesting. Especially Tori's interaction with her wolf while she fights her mating bond with Hunter.
The story lost a little bit of speed when Tori moves to the city and Hunter re-enters the picture. The writing became more of a telling then showing story. It's told exclusively through Tori's POV so when we see Hunter again, his complete 180 personality change when it comes to Tori felt a little too fast. There was nothing from him, to show what he went through to finally come to accept his bond with Tori. Was he really opened minded now or just accepting the bond to appease his wolf? And at that point, I wasn't really feeling the chemistry between them.
It was overall an interesting concept but I needed a little more emotional bonding between the MCs that wasn't solely driven by physical attraction or the fated bond that if rejected, would cause both shifters to go through a painful change that could lead to a mental break or even death.
I read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A new take on shifter romance where werewolves and humans live and work together side by side with no apparent issues. In fact, I got the impression the hero and heroine being werewolves was merely a way of bringing fated mates into the story. Hunter and Tori got off on the wrong foot from the instant they met when barmaid Tori refused to serve Hunter after hours, something he really didn’t like. Then when she was leaving, she overheard him discussing her appearance or lack of with his friends which went down like a lead balloon. It was only later when they met as wolves, he realised she was his fated mate but by then it was too late, before Hunter could reject her, she did a runner.
I’m a bit unsure how I feel about this book. I liked the premise of the story but the characters fell a little flat for me. Hunter, supposedly an alpha wolf just seemed a little bland and weak while initially Tori annoyed me with her inverted snobbery. She always seemed on the defensive about her appearance and what people thought about her but still dressed and acted like a student. She did evolve as the story progressed with her character growing in confidence as she realised Hunter wasn’t going to reject her, but I would’ve enjoyed a little more conflict between them at least at the start of their relationship. Depth was added to the overall plot with some family involving Tori’s brother and the source of her blue eyes, but I would’ve liked a little more resolution to the George issue.
This book was a quick fun werewolf fated mates read. And I eat that up. I love everything about fated mates and werewolves.
Tori and her Wolf centers around you guessed it, Tori. She is a werewolf shifter who finds out her fated mate is the jerk who was talking down about her to others. Her wolf wants him but she does not so she runs away. She finds herself in a new city and a new job but stuck with the jerk who doesn’t want to mate with her, Hunter, as her new boss. Hunter’s wolf wants Tori and Hunter realizes he has made a mistake and he tries to rectify it.
I really enjoyed Tori’s character- she’s strong and independent and knows what she wants. I like that she stood up for herself. And I love that this book centered around their wolves wanting each other because it really shows that fated mates are meant to be.
I am giving this book 3.5 stars because I absolutely adore a fated mates / werewolves book where the Alpha wolf just dotes on his female. However, I felt like something else was missing in the story that I can’t quite put my finger on.
Overall, I would recommend this book if you are looking to start in the shifter romance world. It’s a quick, easy and fun read.
-ARC read. Thank you to the author and The Author Agency for an e-arc of this book for my honest review.
I love omegaverses and shifter stories so I definitely wanted to read this book when I saw it! And Pride and Prejudice is like my all time favorite classic Jane Austen read so I had to read this one as it’s a retelling so to speak!
I loved Tori the FMC I know the way she wrote her as being not so confident and the pessimistic views was intentional to show how she gains the confidence when she finally knows she won’t get rejected.
I loved Hunter he is just the best grumpy broody guy and I loved how Tori kinda brought him to his knees. His change in perspective was so good to watch from the arrogance to the ultra loving mate.
I loved the love story between the two MCs and then I always love when the side characters are charming, relatable, and lovable. I always love when I also fall for the side characters. And when they are in their shifted forms it’s so sweet. And though I do usually see third act breaks I loved that this one didn’t have that!
This book was unique and beautifully written I’m excited to read more from this author!

This was a slow paced shifter romance. I fell in love with Hunter and Tori. Things didn't start out perfect, but they grew together. With a little family chaos and drama coming from several directions it kept my attention!- Tasha
Tori and Her Wolf is the first book I have read by Zara Doyle, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I could not put this book down until I reached the end. This book is a rejected fated mates romance, and it had the right amount of grovel and angst. I loved Zara Doyle's writing style; she created an exciting, original, and emotional storyline that had me all in my feels. The characters were complex and had an intense and undeniable chemistry.
Tori was strong, stubborn, and had a steel backbone. I loved her will to survive anything thrown her way. My heart broke for her and her brother. I loved her determination and loyalty to her family and friends. Hunter was a total Alpha and was a little arrogant and broody. I enjoyed his grovel and determination to win his mate over. She definitely made him work for her forgiveness and their bond. I loved the drama, mystery, and spice throughout this book. I laughed, got a little misty-eyed, and fist-pumped a few times for both characters. I so can't wait to see what this author brings next!!! 4.5 stars-By Brooke
Loved the characters. Especially the FMC. Just didn’t think there was enough buildup. It went from alphahole to golden retriever instantly with no context or much buildup for me. Background was kinda fuzzy. Virgin to come and take me like out of nowhere. Besides that it’s a cozy shifter romance. Slow burn until it just hits you in the face. Check triggers. Family death not on page. Substance abuse and addiction not graphic. I wouldn’t consider this dark. FMC best friend is great. Super rich MMC and both are from different worlds. -Kerin
This was a fun shapeshifter read but for me it just kept going. Why I honestly would give it a 3.5 start rating. As the story suggests, we're following Tori and her assumption that her Fated Mate is going to deny her. So of course, she does what any sane person would do and runs before getting the answer to her assumption.
Tori was a great character, she is sassy and independent, clearly there is something special about her Werewolf since her eyes are so different, but I found I wasn't that interested in learning her back story. I enjoyed the tension between her and Hunter, her Fated Mate. But I just kept wanting more and I'm not sure what I was waiting for.
It's a cute book and story but I just needed a little less of this misunderstanding to be drawn out. I enjoy tension when it's built right but this story felt a little too fluffy for my liking. I found myself having to push to finish the story once the Fated Mates made their declaration and got over their misunderstanding. It was a personal thing and by no means should be taken as the story was not interesting. I just have different tastes.
It's the story of Hunter and Victoria who meet in a bar during solstice where their mate senses are heightened. He has never met anyone in the years he has attended and this is her first year. He is not very nice to her. They both sense that they are each other's mate. He is too prideful and thinks she is beneath him and she thinks she isn't good enough - not a great start. She also hears him at a later point speaking down about her and she runs like her backside is on fire! Their friends to mate however which keeps them in each others orbit!
He can't however ignore the pull he has towards her and sees the error of his ways and engineers a job and housing for her ensuring she is working very closely with him. They come together very quickly. We see very little of their lives as wolves and there isn't much angst or drama in the book. There is a little bit with one of his employees who wants him. The book was well written and an easy read but didn’t hold my attention.
Tori and Hunter 🥵 From their banter to the groveling, to their happily ever after! The plot twists 😨 Ma'am.... Zara, Gawd Dayum! I haven't read a werewolf romance in ages, and I really loved it! Thank you so much for the ARC Opportunity Zara 😭🥹❤️ You're the sweetest!
Tori and Hunter are a couple I won't forget easily. Hunter at first was a piece of work, but I love how he came to his senses on time and worked for his chance with Tori 🥹 This man is an absolute sweetheart, and I couldn't resist him! Tori was absolutely hilarious 😂 that girl really doesn't have a filter! But I was so proud of her for standing her ground. She literally brought this man to his knees 🥵
The spice was really 🥵 and I kept smirking through it all 😏 The story progresses at a brilliant pace and keeps you hooked. That plot twist was something I never saw coming, and I had to pause to process it.
This is a wonderful story by Zara Doyle! 🥹❤️ I am so proud of you for publishing your book!
Tori and Her Wolf by Zara Doyle was an absolute delight, especially for an omegaverse fan like me. The witty prose immediately drew me in, and Tori’s blend of humor and relatability made her a great protagonist. I couldn’t help but chuckle at her decision to pack up her life and move to a new state to avoid rejection. Honestly, it’s a move I’d consider if I were in her shoes. I also loved the evolution of Hunter, the MMC. Initially introduced as a wealthy, self-absorbed character, he gradually reveals a deeper, more caring side. His transformation, spurred by his interactions with Tori, is both heartwarming and rewarding to read. Although their relationship develops quickly, their chemistry feels natural. Some connections just click when the circumstances are right. Overall, I had a fantastic time with this book. A big thank you to Zara Doyle for providing a copy in exchange for an honest review!
Tori and Her Wolf is a paranormal, fated-mates shifter romance and my first read from this author.
The story gave us Pride and Prejudice vibes and follows Tori and Hunter. Their first meeting left much to be desired as they realized they were mates but Hunter acted like a jerk causing Tori to think he was going to reject her causing her to leave town.
I liked that Hunter realized the error of his ways and attempted to make up for it. His protectiveness and caring for Tori was sweet and I liked seeing this side of him.
While I liked these two, I felt that they got together too quickly after their initial issues, however there were some added plots that made the story interesting
This novel gave us a great blend of tension, character growth, spice, sweetness humor, some drama and family issues. It was an enjoyable read and I would recommend it.

Tori and Her Wolf was my first Zara Doyle read and I am obsessed! I’m newer to shifter romance as well and I can say I’m addicted.
Tori was a great FMC. Her personality as well as her insecurities, made her a super relatable character and thus, an easy one to like. Hunter was…well, a jerk to Tori even though he sensed quickly that they might be mates. I was wondering how the author would pull off their HEA but she did so flawlessly. I really enjoyed Zara’s writing style and look forward to reading more by her!
Thank you to Zara Doyle and The Author Agency for the ARC of this book.
I absolutely loved this book. It was funny. It was emotional. It had so many twists and turns some of which I did not predict and I absolutely loved that about it. I loved the fact that in this book, it’s not your typical wolf mating bond that you hear in other stories, this author has taken it to another level and it is absolutely amazing, I could not stop reading this book every time I go to put it down I’d wanna read another chapter. It is just overall amazing and I highly recommend to anyone over the age of 18 to get this book and read it then go get yourself the physical copy it is absolutely one of my favorite books, I can’t wait to read the other three in this interconnected standalone series if I could give the author 1000 stars I absolutely would
Rated as 1 consistent with all books which I did not manage to finish reading.
Personally could not finish due to : -the mmc was too harsh and degraded her too much with his friends, when he barely knew her. Then suddenly he offers her job a place to stay etc. it felt a bit too forced just because they are fated mates. - maybe if there was a dual POV to explain why he did all this it might have been better but I would still expect some groveling which did not happen before I stopped reading - his friends also heard al the bad stuff he said, and one of them ends up with the fmc’s best friend. That seems like a major red flag and the fmc did not inform her friend. Disrespect is the start of a bad relationship
