Well. That was short and to the point. I guess I can see where the whole thing is coming from. Years of eyeing each other finally took its toll and this is like a moment in time out of the big picture.

If you’re looking for if’s what’s and why’s this isn’t the place to find it but it was enjoyable if you can get in the moment with the characters. It’s over in a blink of an eye and there is no time for questions. Just read, and enjoy.

A review by The Blogger Girls.

What a sweet story this was!

Drew is training for the Olympics after missing his shot in previous qualifiers. James is the trainer hired by Drew’s father to get him there. They’ve been training together for a few years but have always kept things professional.

Then, Drew starts having trouble after showing up late for practice one day. James intends to find out what the problem is and gets his chance after Drew ends up in some more trouble. Once they act upon their attraction, they decide to take things further. These guys are very sweet together. James is the more dominant experienced of the two, and I love stories about first timers. This one did not disappoint.

For a short story, this was very well put together. These guys have a friendship that has grown through their years of training together, and the eventual sex was hot and sweet. The only thing that niggled at me was the use of some repetitive words or sayings, such as “the swimmer.” But, overall, this was a really enjoyable, afternoon read that was at times funny, sad but also sexy and heartwarming.

I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of Mr. Stevens’ work.

Yes this was a HOT read!!! But what I also loved was there was a story behind the fabulous sex.
Drew is the one of the main characters and swimming is his life. James is his coach and mentor. The relationship they have of coach and athlete at the beginning is typical. But underneath there are other struggles and issues that each man is carrying. Finally at a moment of despair these two finally begin to understand what the other is going through and how they can use each other as strength to pull through it.

Loved this short story!!! Great Job Louis <3
