This devotional was gifted to me by a family member, and I’m grateful it was! Each day walks you through the Lenten season while allowing space for creative reflections. The setup not only helped me open my heart to the season of Lent and Jesus’ sacrifice, but keeping my creative pursuits aligned with the original Creator helped me through a tough patch of writer’s block.

 I can't wait for Lent to begin!  Dunn's book includes a devotion for every day of Lent. A word is used as the focus, along with Scripture and a short commentary. Then the reader is invited to respond creatively on the blank page. I am so looking forward to filling those blank pages! Finally, a book that invites us to be creative as we encounter God.
