Listen. I bought this thinking it was just another lighthearted kids’ book. NOPE. Pretty Fluffo delivers a layered look at beauty, envy, and growth, all wrapped up in bright, fun artwork and a story that actually respects a child’s emotional intelligence.
My daughter had so many questions afterward about fairness, kindness, and why some people use pretty privilege. And we got to talk about things I wish someone explained to me at her age. 10/10.

My daughters are total opposites, one shy, one bold. Somehow, Pretty Fluffo spoke to BOTH of them. They loved the sparkly, dramatic moments, but they also loved her vulnerability when she realizes she needs help.
The story handles the topic of “pretty privilege” in a way kids actually get. Super well done.

As a 2nd-grade teacher, I am VERY picky about classroom reads. This one? Instant hit. My students were locked in from page one.
Pretty Fluffo gave us the perfect opportunity to talk about empathy, teamwork, and jealousy in a fun, accessible way. The kids even made their own “Fluffo characters” in art class. This book has sparked some incredible discussions and creativity.
