I always knew I was too much Tandy for one man… but what about two demons? After another Christmas alone, I was preparing for a New Year’s Eve party when I got the text that changed my life. Next thing I know, I’m bursting in on my old bandmate—and former friend—only to discover her apartment is empty.
Well, empty-ish. Because, as nosy as ever, I snooped a little… and that’s when I found the old book that I’ve been dreaming about since I was a teen.
I don’t really know why I’m so drawn to it, or how the hell Sierra got her hands on it, but I can’t help myself. I flip it open and start reading a random page, and that’s when they appeared.
Identical. Huge everywhere, and I’m not just talking about their horns, either. Made of shadows and with eyes glowing brighter than Times Square, they each grab one of my hands and away we go.
Where? Turns out they’re from this immortal demon realm where they’ve spent more than a thousand years waiting for the one woman meant for them me.
I’ve never had a partner who wanted me for me. I’ve been the other woman trashed in the press, and the one discarded for someone better. The idea that these big demons are utterly devoted to me is tempting—and so is how… eager they each are to convince me to choose him.
Throw in the offer of immortality and I’m thinking this might not be so bad… until I find out there’s one teeny-tiny bit of fine print they forgot to mention.
Because demon twins are rare, and one thing that makes them different than any of the other monsters in this place?
Is that they have to share theirs.
And me? I’m the lucky chick who’s supposed to belong both Damien and Lucian.
*Taken by the Twins is the seventh book in the Sombra Demons series. It tells the story of Tandy, a party girl who’s finally ready to settle down, and the twin demons, Damien and Lucian, who are more than happy to share their new mate.
What the heck was this?! I’ve never had a story confuse me as much as This one did. She was so vile and a total twat. A whiny, entitled brat. And the cliffhanger ending?! After forcing myself to plow thru this only to get THAT ending, I wouldn’t have bothered. Wish I could give this zero stars.
I read this in one night. I've been waiting for the next story and it didn't disappoint. I love the storyline of all the characters and putting it together book by book! Its such a great plot with hot romance and sweet love. I loved the bond between Damien and Lucian. And that Tandy owned every part of herself. They needed her, especially Damien, to complete them. I can't wait for the next book and hope it won't really end!
......and they are all good lol. I did enjoy this book, but dang, Tandy had ME blushing with her forwardness. I think these books could go further with the spice but plot has to come in at some point, I suppose. I'm really intrigued about the prophecy and what happens next since Alana's been born.
Both the twins deserve so much better and Tandy after waiting for fucking millenniums. And TANDY ??? seriously couldn't find a better name. This fmc was such a mess and the worst in all the series even more than than the privious one .This series has gone downhill since the first book and im so glad that the next will be the last one and even from that I don't have much expectations. So basically Tandy was in a band with Sierra and Billie in the past but she cheated with Sierra 's bf and everything went downhill from there but after so many year when Sierra contacts her again she goes ro meet her and finally apologize to her but she was tricked into getting there and reading the spell book. She summons the twin and gets taken to sombra where she have sex with them just for fun and not interested in any commitment. The fmc was soo desperate all the time and she even calls herself easy and what's with her always mentioning her long list of man she slept with like alright you can stop mentioning it again and again. This book had so much potential with two mmc's but author really ruined it all with this insufferable fmc . There was no love or connection from the fmc's side and they were supposed to be fated mates🙄 really wasted potential.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ - didn’t love it but didn’t hate it. i always feel like these books are rushed but it’s insta-love and that’s not my thing, so i don’t fault it on that.
tandy was hard to care for and ultimately i just… don’t. really glad jared got knocked upside the head tho!! and the epilogue was my favorite part!! i’m actually intrigued to know more about the prophecy

Sorry to see this is the next-to-last book about Sombra demons and their human mates.
Tandy was the third member of a girl band with Billie and Whiskey Rose (Sierra) Tandy’s affair with Sierra’s ex, Jared Turner, caused the group to break up. Billie and Sierra have already found their Sombra mates.
Lucian and Damien are the only surviving twins in Sombra. When twins are born, one has no essence and is left to die in the shadows. Lucian sensed his bond with Damien and shared his essence with him. They grew up to be the doppelseers. They foresee that Sombra will be destroyed when the first Sombra/human child is born if they have not found their mate. Guess who’s the lucky girl?
Two of the players must overcome internal doubts before they can find HEA
I almost found the birth of the other couple’s child a more interesting plot point, especially with its resemblance to the duke.
This is book seven for those of us who are reading the series of Sombra Demons. This is an interesting book because it starts off about Tandy being the mate of the twin Doppler seers Lucien and Damien. This is their journey. However the last couple of chapters switch to some of our other favorite characters Glaine, Billie, Loki, Kennedy, Shannon and Malphas. All of a sudden Shannon is in labor and all is forgotten except the labor and delivery of their baby plus the prophesy. We don’t know if it is good or bad when the Duke shows up unexpectedly. . . . Then the cliffhanger. . . . So book eight must be in the works. . . . Read On!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tandy’s story with Damien and Lucian in Taken by the Twins is a sizzling, captivating read that takes the twin demon trope to the next level. The attraction between Tandy and the twin demons is undeniable, and the world-building around their unique bond is both intriguing and thrilling. The emotional depth of the story, combined with the intense chemistry between Tandy and her mates, makes this book a standout. The romance is fiery, and the added element of immortality and fated mates adds layers of complexity to the story. A fantastic addition to the Sombra Demons series!
I found this entertaining, but this one was a bit of a hard sell on Tandy's end. She felt like a 2-D hot mess. While when it came to Lucian and Damien, I really loved how their relationship was portrayed and how they share their essence. It made sense wand was super believable. All in all, it was an entertaining little novella that helped to further the overall plot. I'm looking forward for Duke Huares' book and Shannon in Sombra after this one!
This series is so Awesome, each book builds the demon world and demon culture keeping your attention totally riveted 😄. I've truly enjoyed reading this series and this book in particular, cuz now the prophecy is starting 🤔. Thanks again Sarah, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next 🤓.
I was a bit bummed this series ended! it's written so well and I just love the demon world it explores on top of all the hot and heavy storylines of love between humans and demons. 👹🥵🖤 Lol. Tandy was a fiery one though, she had two twin demons feeling hesitant about the relationship. She was like, let's play ball, and they were thinking, um really?? 😝😂
Penultimate book. And what can I say? I expected to have a lot of trouble reading it since we have been told about Tandy for two books in a negative way. But not at all. It was very nice. I had a heartache for Damian and finally I understand him. I can't wait to have the last book in my hands to finish the collection
A nice read although left on a cliffhanger and the next book is the last of the series 😭 I hope we get an answers in the next book if it is the last one. Also it felt so short. I just enjoy this series so much.
I love this series, it's such a comfort read to me. Of course, I love anything paranormal! I'm sad this series is almost over but love how it's coming together and whew, do I love this story with not one but two males who love their female!
Dnf at 91% I skimmed so much of this and just did not care about the reappearance of everyone and the reunion. Things moved just way too fast and it felt like there is zero time to care about any of the characters
This book was another great one, I only felt it was a little rushed to get to the set up for the next book. Would have loved to see a little more of our doppleseers and Tandy!!!!
I enjoyed the twin demons and Tandy's story. The characters are well written and a really entertaining story. Definitely looking forward to the next one.
This book was one of my favorites form the series. I’m almost finished with said series. This book had some fluff, angst, pining, and romance, and some spice as well. 3⭐️, 3🌶
