This book will grab you attention from the first page. If you ever think you’ve had a bad day, you might decide it wasn’t so bad after all when you read Carmel’s story! I couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait for book two.

Untold Secrets at the Folly Beach Inn is the first book in the Oceanside Series which is the story of Carmel who returns from a visit to her daughter living in Paris only to find her husband Brett has completely changed her life. Furthermore, her sister Missy receives a call from the hospital where her father has been admitted with a serious condition which will require them to stay with her dad at the family Inn. This is a great introduction to this series with its well defined characters, difficult family relationships, secrets, lies, and the beginning of a new life and relationship. The book ends in a cliffhanger and will continue in book 2, Broken Ties at the Folly Beach Inn.

Carmel returned home from a trip to visit her daughter, Annie in Paris. Unfortunately, she found out her husband had been cheating on her with her best friend for the past 2 years and wanted a divorce.
Carmel found out she just has lost everything, her beloved cafe that she built from scratch, her house and her marriage. At the same time, she also spoke to her estranged sister and found her father has had a stroke.

Carmel Summers is having a rough time. She comes home from visiting her daughter to find out her husband has been having a long affair with her best friend. She’s lost her cafe. Then her father is very ill so she has to head to Folly Beach to help care for him. I was drawn into the story from the very beginning and was hooked until the end. This is a great start to a new series.

Carmel returns from a 2 month trip to Paris to spend time with her daughter Annie, an Art student there.
But, what she returns to is her Coffee shop being renovated, her house all packed up(really dumped in boxes) and her husband Brett's announcement that he has filed for a divorce and has been having an affair with her best friend . She has a week to vacate.
CK, what is going on????? Can't wait for #2.

Amazing start to a very interesting and entertaining new beach series. Well written with a great story line and a brilliant mix of characters. This book is full of drama, emotion, surprises and family secrets. I really enjoyed reading this book. Keeps your interest and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
