2.5-3.0 RATING- So I know I'm in the minority on this one but this was just okay for me. This could be for two main reasons. First, I can be super picky when it comes to menage reads. Second, I'm equally picky about BDSM story lines =)
While this is a menage story, I didn't feel equal involvement from all parties. In fact, at one point I thought maybe one of the parties might take a step back and this was going to end up a traditional twosome romance. The dynamic of the threesome just wasn't what I like to see.
The BDSM part of the story was a little much for me. I prefer to read about the domination side of BDSM and this focused a bit more on a slave/master relationship. I think this book may rate higher for readers that enjoy reading about whips and chains and restraints. That's not necessarily my thing and coupled with the lackluster menage, the over story didn't work for me that much.

This book is such a tease! Running from an abusive relationship Ashley rents a house from the ex-soldier Parker and his housemate Drake. Parker and Drake rank among the hottest dudes I've seen in fiction, both of them big, handsome packs of muscle with strong hands and deep, rumbling voices. They like fixing cars and going jogging in the snow in T-shirts. They drink beer and cook big steaks in their lofty house on a mountainside. And they like giving a woman a good spanking. In fact, they're looking for a slave they could share. Oh my...
I was practically drooling on my Kindle, thinking "Ashley, you lucky, lucky girl..."
But then these super alphas decide they want to take things slow. Parker procrastinates and Drake almost disappears from the story.
"No, no, no," I wanted to shout. "Nobody wants slow here. Get back here and lose the clothes, right now!"
But no, slow it is. I do love a good build-up in a romance, but presenting this dizzyingly hot pair of guys and not letting me see them in proper action drove me positively nuts. And when things finally develop into smoking hot threesome -territory the book ends. Argh. I have no words for my frustration. I guess this is what a lapdance must feel like for a guy.
I loved this book even though it drove me crazy.

I enjoyed reading this, but would like to learn more about their relationship. We only get the very beginning and never get to where the prologue was, damn I wanted more. I really look forward to reading Trent's tales and as this was a longer one than usual I relished it.
As usual it was easy reading and the story flowed nicely. The ex thankfully wasn't typecast though one was kept waiting for the big, bad wolf to arrive. Perhaps there may be a sequel or not, sometimes ones imagination is good at filling in the storyline.

A great intro book for BDSM, more hot males than you can shake a hard stick at, a very believable h and loads of M/f, M/f/M sex. A little long perhaps...but not a word is wasted.

A sub and two Doms, Parker..kind of strict with harsh punisments. Drake I did not get to much of him until the end so I dont know if he would have been the softer Dom- but I dont think so. Ashley's going to be a buzzy bee taking care of both of them. Whew-glad it's not me ;)

Not great. Hero's of the story not all that great. Brutal and quick tempered. Not really a romance or a love story, more like a hard f$$$ and poor plot. Not something I would read again.

I really loved this story and knew when I started it I would finish it in one session. Ashley is running from her past determined to find a fresh start. She is scared to move on after running from her husband of ten years. She is scarred from her past and knows this move will be just what she needs.
Parker and Drake know they want Ashley from the first meeting. They know she is hiding something but cannot quite place their fingers on what. Determined to make her surrender to true desires, they are willing to stop at nothing to show what submitting and being loved really is all about.
Evans has a writing style that pulls you in. You know you're bound for a good story with the level of detail he goes into with his characters. You want to see where the story progresses and how far Ashley will be pushed. You know Parker and Drake are dominants but you also see the softer side that just wants Ashley to be loved.

Starting reading thinking it would be more of a menage MFM. It's more of a dark novella. The writing was hard to adjust to. It should flowed better with transitioning between and learning more about Parker and Drake better. I still couldn't tell you there histories or what they did as jobs.

Lustfulness between the two sparks desires in which Parker tells her about his needs in being her Dark Dom. Parker has some dark desires, luckily Ashley needs that in her sexual appetite. Drake, who is Parkers roommate also has feelings and desires for Ashley but is not really shown until the end.

Disappointing, was my first thought when I had finished this book. Not because of the erotica contents but because it seemed that just as the story was getting started and the relationship was coming together it finished. I really think the build up could have been shorter and more of their actually relationship as a threesome could have been explored. The main character, Ashley, is so indecisive throughout that it does make you wonder why either of these men try to convince her to join them. If you are going to include an antagonist in a story like this then at least give it some backbone or just run with the original plot. And as for the deep dark secrets that Parker has? Mhuh! (my way of saying "not impressed")

I just got asked in a FB party what is the hottest threesome you've read and this book instantly sprang to mind! I went to find the link and discovered I haven't reviewed it. This cover is wonderful, but the story is also amazing. I did find it tough in places, but this book is emotionally intricate, beautifully written, and there are some hot, hot scenes! It's all coming back to me. Ashley is in for an emotionally charged journey, she came from a hard place, and the two men living just down the drive give her tough love and she finds home. These two sexy guys adore her and intuitively know what she needs, although they have a few stumbles along the way!
Highly recommended.

More like 3.7 stars. Ok, so pretty hot, and well-written for the subject matter/type of story (so often, this sort of thing is badly written, right down to the frequent typos). But over the course of reading it, it became very clear to me that I would neeeeever make it as a submissive, and that did color my enjoyment of the story, just a bit. I'll take the hot mfm sex, though. ;-) Looking forward to the sequel...

Amazing writing. I really enjoyed Ashley's sexual awakening, her discovering and exploring her darkest fantasies. Parker is a hard, demanding Dom and pushing Ashley to open up about her wants and needs is exactly what Ashley needed to get over a previous abusive relationship. I do wish Drake and Ashley's relationship would have been explored a little more, but I still found the book sexy, naughty and romantic all at the same time.

This felt quite different to me. The build up was first slow, then kind of fast. Authentic though. The characters retained quite a bit of mystery - they slowly unfolded. At times I wanted it to go deeper mentally - but then I was glad it did not. This was a longer story so well worth a read!

Not for the faint, but I loved it! Totally pushed all of my buttons! Would love a sequel. How will their lives be together? Will they start a family? Will that change their relationship? Please please write a sequel!

thoroughly enjoyed this one. Definitely a romance, but one of the most memorable scenes was when the ex showed up. A significant portion of the book built toward that point, and then Trent pulled a nice little twist. I wasn't expecting it and it made the book memorable.

Oh My God!
This was one of the best BDSM books I have read in a long time. Is was very well written and thought out. Oh how I wish I could stumble upon a set of dorms like the two in this book. Oh so well worth my time ready Nguyen it.

This book was compelling to say the least but it sadly felt unfinished.
It may be my unfamiliarity with the topic but i was quite conflicted at times while reading this book. whilst i understand that the female lead was very consenting and not lacking agency in her desires and how she acted upon them it did seem at times like any semblance of choice or freewill was robbed of her.
Giving that i usually, unintentionally, read novels written by women, it was refreshing and interesting to explore this topic as well as the genre from a male perspective. It did however leave me hanging as to its ending , especially in regards to drake. It felt like there was more to the story and so much was left unsaid when it came to the characters.

Very traditional Trent Evans. Lots of spanking. I would have given this 5 stars, but I still struggle with the authors approach to the subjugation that our Domme plays out. It isn’t practical. I think someone who has been in such a difficult relationship and is scared of the heavy handedness would not respond like Ashley does. Feels to far fetched in some ways. Don’t get me wrong I love the dominant side of Parker and what he expects of Ashley, just not sure the approach used would work out in true form.

This book was not a romance. Throwing the words "I love you" does not a romance make. The characters were very two dimensional and there was really no actual story. It was pretty smutty, and I don't mind smut. As long as there is a actual plot. This story was all over the place. Her "friend" Tara just seemed to be a place holder. Like the author said, she should have a friend and so she shall but said friend didn't actually have a personality. Then this is supposed to be a ménage trois deal but the character drake makes a few candid appearances and apparently that makes her his too, along with Parker. Honestly this book is just bad. The writing is predictable and too much. I'm not saying you can't love this way but the sex scenes were too long and they provided very little actual sex.
