Rich Beyond Zlata's Story is the 9th book in the Ordinary Women of the Bible fiction series.

After Zlata loses her parents, her husband, and her child, she is left to depend solely upon her demanding in-laws for survival. Worse still, she is left with a heart overcome by bitterness. One day, Zlata hears the voice of a new teacher telling her that she is blessed despite being poor. How can she be blessed when she has nothing? She cannot help but think this Yeshua might be the madman her father-in-law, a Pharisee, claims him to be. Yet, somehow, Zlata can’t stop seeking Him out and pondering His message in her heart. After all the loss she has suffered, Yeshua’s words make her feel whole again. But, her father-in-law threatens to turn her out if she continues to follow after Yeshua. Will she dare to trust Yeshua enough to offer everything she possesses to God, down to her last two mites, believing that, in the Messiah, she is rich beyond measure?

Beautiful Story of Restored Hope through Christ!

This was the first book I have read by author Robin Lee Hatcher. It is a beautifully written, fictionalized story based on the widow Jesus praised for giving all she had, although the offer may have seemed meager in comparison to others,

Hatcher brought Zlata and her other characters to life on the page, and the depth of her historical research was readily evident throughout this gem of a novel. I look forward to reading more books by this talented author and highly recommend Rich Beyond Measure: Zlata's Story to anyone who enjoys Biblical fiction.

Wondrous Book ! Life Lost Redemption Thru Christ !!

Zlata was loved but lost everyone , extended family takes her in but treats her like a slave. Forgiveness is hard when you loose so much , trust is hard found. But then The Messiah comes To Teach the forbidden can she hold on to His Love an loose everything again !! Mrs. Hatcher has written a Jewel of a book !! You will be Blessed to find Redemption - Forgiveness - Faith - Friendship - Love in this Story of Zlata "Rich Beyond Measure" !!!

Love This Idea

I love the storyline of the widow that gave two small coins being a young widow with her whole life ahead of her.

The plot, characters, and storyline are well thought out and thought provoking. How would I have reacted to her circumstances in that time period? The options and care of widows was truly precarious and they fully relied on the kindness of family, neighbors, and strangers. How scary that must have been when they had NO ONE!

I truly enjoyed this fictional take on a familiar verse of scripture.

This book brought the little snippet of the widow and her two mites into a beautiful story. Full of finding faith among the turmoil to following Jesus no matter the cost, it was a heart warming and convincing story. Zlata’s faith is inspiring throughout the story, and challenges me in my own faith. I love that her story is included in this series. Hatcher showed how encountering Christ will leave you forever changed and loved.

The author, Robin Lee Hatcher, writes a great story, having very little info in the Bible about the poor widow whose story this is. I like that the author makes the widow somewhat younger than I always thought she was. Zlato is the widow who has to live with her in-laws as she has no money. She yearns to listen to Jesus preach and believes he is the Savior, which enrages her father-in-law. The story follows her as she follows Jesus and finally gets her just reward.

I'm happy these Guideposts books are starting to be available on Kindle Unlimited. I liked this one about the widow who put all she owned in the offering at the temple. Hatcher fills out the story, imagining a young widow (not elderly) who is ignored by her deceased husband's family. Following Jesus' ministry through the eyes of this lonely widow makes it come alive.

Amazing book really gets you thinking
