No one has it worse than Rachael! First her parents make her move to a crappy new town, then Zac starts ignoring her, and just to top everything off...the rumors of a zombie apocalypse seem to have more truth to them than anyone could have imagined!

I spotted 3 or 4 typos. And there were too! many! exclamation! points! >.< But I guess that was just the MC's voice. She speaketh overly dramatic teenager. It was a nice little story, and I'm gonna read the rest of them. Honestly I think I'll like the other ones more, it was just the protagonist that irritated me in this one.
Rae’s dad gets a new job in a new town and moves the family there right before the new school year starts. Rae finds herself in a new town with no friends as a flu like virus is sweeping through the country. No one may get to attend school for a while with the quarantine set to go in motion in a couple of days.
Rae gets tired of being cooped up so she decides to take a stroll through the town it is not long before she finds herself running as hard and fast as she can after she hears gunshots of course until she runs right smack dab into the middle of a bunch of zombies.
Outbreak is the first book in the AM13 Outbreak Series Shorts. Outbreak is filled with lots of action from the very beginning and never lets up until the last page is turned. Once I picked it up it had me racing to the end wondering if Rae was going to make it out as human or if she would fall prey to the virus.
I highly recommend Outbreak to all zombie fans and apocalyptic fans. I would also recommend any book in the AM13 Outbreak Series. One click your copy today!
This short details the experiences of one girl during the outbreak of a deadly pandemic, just as quarantine and lockdown procedures are being out in place. New to a small town, she has just started to make friends - unaware of what is just about to happen.
This was an okay read, but I felt like I couldn’t really warm to the main character and I was left feeling a little underwhelmed even by the threat the infected posed.
