Did this Bible study twice, once individually and once with my church group. I enjoyed it more in a group setting.

This Bible study was a really fascinating look into the women in the Bible. The reader has a chance to get many women (both named and unnamed) a little bit better. After each daily reading, there are also a couple review questions to help the reader interact with the text and consider how it applies to their life. Then, at the end of each study week, the reader is given the opportunity to reflect on the women they read about.

My only issue is that some of the readings were LONG (for example, the entire book of Esther), so it took longer than the estimated 15-30 minutes to get through those day’s devotionals and reflection questions. But I still feel much better acquainted with the women of the Bible and much closer to God as well!

I’d give it 2.5 stars. The Daily Grace has a lot of good studies, but this just wasn’t my favorite one. It felt impersonal because the questions/prompts were the exact same each day, instead of being specific to each biblical woman’s story. It just didn’t speak to me. I’m glad that it got me to read different passages of the Bible that I don’t usually get into, though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this Bible Study. It was well-written, covered most of the key women in scripture, and had thought-provoking questions.
