*** This final volume contains books ten, eleven, and twelve in the CradleReaper, Dreadgod, and the final book Waybound, all of which are available separately. *** Sacred Valley has been saved…at least, what’s left of it.
With his home finally secure, Lindon delves deep into the ancient labyrinth, seeking long-lost Soulsmithing knowledge and the secret to destroying the Dreadgods. Monarchs plot against him and against each other, unaware of the threats gathering in realms beyond.
Far above Lindon and the Monarchs and the Dreadgods, another war is waged. Suriel and the Abidan clash against the Mad King and his forces in a battle for the fate of many worlds.
Will Wight masterfully concludes the Cradle series with an exhilarating and deeply satisfying finale. Lindon, Yerin, and the rest of the cast evolve not just in power but in wisdom and purpose. Their journeys, filled with struggle and triumph, make the emotional payoff incredibly rewarding. The intricate progression system and breathtaking battles remain highlights, especially Lindon's transformation from an underdog to a force beyond imagination.
Wight balances epic action with heartfelt moments, ensuring that the conclusion resonates on both an emotional and narrative level. Cradle: Ascension isn’t just a thrilling conclusion, it’s the perfect farewell to a saga that has redefined progression fantasy.
I am totally a fan of this universe. Spent several months reading the omnibi.... (is that the plural of omjibus?) I liked the pacing, the world building, the gradual arising of a parallel arc.
While I liked the merger of the threads, I only wish we could have seen of the merged threads....maybe a future book will give us more!
If you like progression fantasy, you must read this
in my opinion, the best progression style fantasy novel. I really outstanding display of good authorship. I keep reading it over and over. I even bought the leather bound editions. Thanks Will for a great read.
