Rush and messy.

This volume suffers from the same problems as the previous one. The story feels rush, the use of plot armor is overuse. Most of the problems are solved with information the characters have miraculously. Some important characters are forgotten and others are poorly developed. The way Sogou was "brainwashed" feels clunky, the way all the characters have key information, while the main antagonist doesn't have a clue, despite being ruling over the world for centuries feels like a lazy way to solve the issues. Is a shame as the story was really good, but this is the second volume in a row that dissapoint.

This book felt rushed and disjointed. It is good that we are heading off to the exciting climax and that the series doesn’t waste a lot of space. But I feel like there were unexpected elements which threw open the worldbuilding in a way that was not properly foreshadowed.

Characters were not given the screentime they deserved. This might have been better as two volumes.

We’re now entering the final arc. I thought this volume was pretty good, but mostly it was just getting all the various pieces in place. We do finally get some information about the gods of this world though.

There is something in the Japanese Psyche that abors religion in almost all forms. Shinto, Buddhism, Christianity or even Hinduism seem to hold weird symbolic links to them, not actual religion. Many an Isekai story or even regular stories involves the eventually demise of an evil deity.
