There were genuinely thought-provoking sections, and I flagged several pages to revisit and apply. The structure, however, felt more like a workbook with commentary than a fully developed book, and some proofreading issues (especially in the case studies) were distracting. As a practicing Catholic who works for the Church, I also found the tone narrower and more culturally aligned than I expected rather than the broader, richer scope of Catholic anthropology. There’s helpful material here, and it did help me get a better view of my financial situation, but it didn’t fully reflect the depth and universality of the Church’s vision of the human person and money as I expected it would.
