Fade Away: Realm of Lunareth and Solterris - A Dark fantasy novel.

Rate this book
She wanted to disappear. The realm had other plans.

Haunted by vivid visions of dragons and drowning in a fog of depression, Skye never asked to be a hero. But when a night out spirals into something far stranger, she wakes in a castle pulled from a dream—or a nightmare.

Lunareth is a realm of magic, mystery, and danger, and Skye’s been summoned as a Guardian. There's just one she has no powers. No lightning, no fire, no blade to wield—only a title, and a past she’s still trying to survive.

While others master elemental forces, Skye is left behind. Until the shadows that haunt her begin to stir in the world around her—and an ancient darkness rises.

In a world that sees her as invisible, Skye must fade away, or become the force that breaks the cycle.

For fans of reluctant heroes, slow-burn romance, and magic-drenched worlds with dragons lurking just out of sight.

Not sure where this author has been hiding my whole life, but I need more. This is the first book in an uncompleted series and I am HOOKED.

We follow Skye on her journey once she is dropped into a new world that she doesn't understand and feels she doesn't belong in.

The world building is great, and the character building is awesome as well. I got attached to the characters, and I also hated some of the characters. This is amazing. If you can't form a connection with the characters in a book it makes it very difficult to continue reading. This book I had NO issues. Amazing job on the characters and world building. I didn't struggle with keeping up with the storyline or the character stories. There are characters that I would definitely want more from in the future as well.

I cannot wait to see where this series takes us! Beautifully written and thought out.

This book is an emotional roller coaster. It takes you on Skye's journey as she learns things about herself it comes to terms with who she is and not wanting to fade away I was in my emotions so much because at one point don't we all feel like that and seeing her journey gives you hope. I cannot wait for this next book in the series I have got to know what happens with the skye. Eldon and Scarlett are the perfect traveling companions to go with with her. They make this book even better this. This author is truly amazing. I love his work and I cannot wait to see what he comes out with next!!!!!

Fade Away is an intense story. It’s inherently an emotional journey of Skye and how her wish to “fade away” eventually dissolves into a will to live.

Favorite characters in this story include, Scarlett and Eldon. Lmao. Iykyk.

Watchers of anime will enjoy this book as it definitely delivers that vibe. I would compare it to “Rising of the Shield Hero” with some scifi-like aspects.

love it

There is so much to love about this book. A woman that wishes to be left alone is brought into stark relief out of nowhere. She’s told she has to do things she doesn’t understand and is the opposite of left alone. This would be a nightmare for me. Though not explicitly stated, there is neurodivergent representation.

An emotionally gripping journey where vulnerability and strength collide. It blends raw emotion with powerful character development. I think I can say, we've all wanted to fade away at some point. But its the fight back from that abyss that gives this story it's bite.
