Max Johnny is a celebrated author. There is humanity that runs through his fiction yet less so in his personal life due to a horrific tragedy. After a night of feeding the despair in his local New York city bar, an assortment of strangers and thugs, an Ivy League college kid, and a lost hippie girl will alter his course forever.
Doug’s journey as a writer began with a pivotal moment in high school, where a teacher encouraged him to craft a poem, sparking Doug's creativity. This transformative experience laid the foundation for Doug's path as a writer.
Doug has navigated through various jobs throughout his life, contributing to his growth. However, storytelling emerged as his true calling. Doug's artistic expression stands as a testament to his unwavering belief in an authentic life—a life deeply felt, explored through multifaceted emotions, experiences, and connections, persisting across genres and mediums.
Holy crap this was good. I've read and enjoyed his work before but this might be the best. I was able to connect with the main character and feel his plight. I loved the imagery and feeling that went into this novelette. Highly recommended.
