Stewart was at a point where he needed help. A normal household had a wife and mother to take control. He didn’t have any of that. He had single handedly raised three children. The solution would be to hire a housekeeper. He was prepared to accept every term and condition. And he did. Running the household would no longer be a problem. The requests were a little odd though. There would be no meeting his housekeeper. Absolutely no personal contact. Everything would be communicated via notes. She was their housekeeper. She was there to do a job. The requests were strange but Stewart accepted the ground rules. With everything running so smoothly, home was the place that he wanted to be. Then he met Raven. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Everything about Raven appealed to him. The family was petrified that they would lose their housekeeper. The little things that she did came to mean so much. And they did not want to lose her.
