It's moving day for Sebastian, who's making a home with Sarah. Though Rob couldn't be happier for his friends, after the move has been completed he finds himself at loose ends, questioning the direction his own life is heading. Unbeknownst to him, Sebastian and Sarah are worried about the same thing and hope he can find someone special. Will he ever get his happy ending, or is Rob doomed to eternal bachelorhood?
Cassandra Carr is a multi-award winning romance writer. When not writing she enjoys watching hockey and hanging out online. Cassandra's books have won numerous "Best Book Of" awards and her novella Unexpected Top was nominated in the E-book Erotic Romance category of RT's Reviewers' Choice Awards.
She thinks the best part of being a writer is penning stories about love and sex while most others struggle with commutes, micro-managing bosses and cranky co-workers.
I don't get it. Nothing happens in this book. If a novella is linked to a series, there should be some kind of hook in the short read to get the reader to want to explore that series. A tease. A conlict. A sexual situation. Something!
Synopsis:
A couple decides to live together. Their friends help them move. They eat. A man is lonely.
Moving Day by author Cassandra Carr was a great quick read and a chance to catch up and see the next journey in Sebastian and Sarah's relationship. It was nice to see how much they love and are committed to each other. We get to see more of the close friendship between Sebastian and Rob, his best friend and soon-to-be-ex-roommate. I enjoyed the bantering and witty dialogue while they prepared to move Sebastian's stuff. Readers will get a sense of how deeply this move has affected Rob behind his fun, loving persona. This short story will gear you up for Rob's story and I, for one, cannot wait to read it.
After this bridge story I am so pumped for Rob’s book next! It was nice to read about Sebastian and Sarah’s relationship progressing since “Should’ve Known Better” and Sebastian’s plans to take their relationship to the next level.
It was sweet how Sarah was worried about Rob, now that Sebastian had moved out of the place they shared together, I hope we see some more of Sebastian and Sarah and their blossoming relationship in more books to come. I cannot wait to see what girl Rob ends up with in his book; she is bound to be quite the character to be able to handle Rob and he deserves a happy ending.
Having not read the first book of this series but picking up this on a free offer, I wasn't sure what to expect. This turned out to be a nice little story of transition for both Sebastian and Sarah as they move in together. The story is told from three POVs - the two main characters and Sebastian' s former roommate Rob. Rob' s story was the best one and leads nicely into the next book of the series.
There isn't much sexy talk or action in this segment. However the author shows her writing skills which are top notch as well as her knowledge of hockey and the Buffalo area. Good short story.
This is a short story that lets you see where Sarah and Sebastian from Should've Known Better end up in their HEA and it gives you a glimpse into Robs life and how he is handling his best bud moving out. I really liked being able to get a glimpse of Rob before his story comes out and I think he totally deserves to get his own HEA he is such a sweet and caring man. This book has me more than eager to read his story now to see where he ends up! This is a great series so far from Ms. Carr hoping to read many more books from the other guys on the team!
This short story pretty much sets up us for the next installment, which will be Rob’s story. We go into each of their viewpoints, first from Sebastian and his feels for Sarah, and Sarah wanting to please Sebastian and looking forward to making their new house a home for them. Finally Rob, he totally deserves his own story and to meet someone that will make him happy. Loved their interactions, you could tell they all care about each other and just how much moving out will change their lives.
I absolutely LOVED Rob in Should've Known Better! I am so excited that he gets his own story. This little treat was great! It is meant to get us ready for Rob's story, and I can't freakin' wait! We get a little bit of an update on Sarah and Sebastian. Good things to come for those two. You can't help but feel for Rob, and I hope he gets his Happily Ever After!
Moving Day by Cassandra Carr was a great quick read. I loved reading about Sebastian moving in with Sarah. I also loved reading about Rob's thoughts about finding his happily ever after. In Should've Known Better, I really liked Rob's character and really hope he finds his happily ever after. I can't wait to read more of this great series and more by Cassandra Carr.
Cute quick read with the characters from Should've Know Better. I really enjoyed this, liked how Cassandra had a chapter in each character's point of view.
