Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of determination, protection, compassion, and also falling in love. I enjoyed Brixston and Daphne story. I think the author did amazing job with putting in these characters together. I think they made a great couple. I believe they brought out the best in each other as well. And also Brix protects what is his that's what all the Voodoo Guardians do. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and mystery lovers.

Mary Kennedy never fails her readers when writing her books. I have been following her since first reading Steel Patriots. I have been a true fan and made use of my Kindle unlimited to read all her books. When I was unable to download a book she responded personally to give me ideas on how to resolve my issues. This book definitely went in a direction that I was not expecting but stayed true to her narrative regarding the family bonds. Hope that you all enjoy this book as much as I did.

You kinda saw this coupling come in the last book, but seeing how things happened got crazy at times. It was hard not to feel bad for Daphne, she learned so much about her family, a lot bad, a couple good parts. The big confrontation was crazy! As was the bad guy and why. So much evil done by this 1 person, so glad that they got theirs in the end and this couple could be happy.

Takes all kinds

Deirdre and Brix's story was awesome another mystery to solve, love and Brix rescuing his love.
The subject matter for this story was truly to this reader unbelievable because of Jordyn mother's behavior.

This one contains one of the creepiest antagonists this reader has seen. The insta-love is not too convincing here, though.
